No federal challenge to pot legalization in two states

There appears to be a shift in the United States in favor of relaxing marijuana laws, a topic that has dipped in and out of the national conversation for decades. Public perceptions about pot have come a long way, from the dire warnings of "Reefer Madness" to growing acceptance of medical marijuana.

Quote
Washington (CNN) -- The Justice Department said it won't challenge state laws that legalize marijuana and will focus federal enforcement on serious trafficking cases and keeping the drug away from children.
Attorney General Eric Holder, in a conference call Thursday morning, notified the governors of Colorado and Washington that the department, for now, will not seek to pre-empt those states' laws, which followed voters' approval of ballot measures that legalized recreational marijuana use.
Marijuana will remain illegal under the federal Controlled Substances Act. But a department memo to federal prosecutors tightened federal marijuana prosecution standards.

if fed law supercedes state law and we should have equal rights then does that mean its legal in all states?
i think its a setup so growers and sellers get lazy with security and then the dea swoops in and grabs their cash stash.because i havent heard of banks accepting the industries cash yet.im going with the assumption for the time being that this is another lie like the statement he made about pot enforcement a few years ago.then a few months back the dea raided some shops.took loads of cash.if i remember correctly.
ive never been much for rules.
being me has its priviledges.

Hopefully we are getting closer to finally being able to de-criminalize the use of marijunia. According to the FBI, in 2010 there were 750.000 people arrested for "Simple Marijuana Possession".  These people need attention and help, but arrest and incarceration helps no one. We have a full time "village industry" of people in America that is being paid to search out, arrest, charge, lawyer-up, court/convict, and imprison simple users. What a waste of human resources!!!

It is time that we deal with this problem in a paradigm way, to communicate and inform all people, to obtain the desired results in a way that is considerte and respectful of all!

I perceive a disturbance in the Force, to say the least.

Longtime and stubbornly held positions are suddenly melting away in the world.  Cameron's stunning defeat in Parliament yesterday is but one example.  Gay marriage, hemp production, nullification efforts and (yes) even secession movements are moving out of the fringe into the mainstream quickly.  Suppose 'they threw a war and nobody came'?     ....

Why is this happening?

I continue to monitor the "Ascension" and channeling websites in the belief that a collective consciousness does exist - and however silly individual sources appear,  there is an aggregate message of hope and change ( not 'hopium') that could be true.  If psychic ability does exist as a minor effect,  I would expect that a great many people would act like 'radio receivers' in picking up on dramatic change to come, even if the details are confused.

Really? A shift that big would be something.

Do You assume People on, say, aspirin "need attention and help?"  If not, why would You think People medicating with cannabis do?

In fact, They are already being helped by the plant, and to assume They need some kind of additional help is extremely presumptuous.
