closer to 50, actually, and old news; Duke Zorgon has much already posted about the Naval laser systems already here on the forum...

Already seen it in action.  The UFO Hunters interviewed a ufologist who filmed a laser that could take out satellites, out of the new area 51 in Utah.

Yep, their always scurrying around working on their next weapon, next weapon that could take out the enemy, including us.

Men and their toys, only deadly toys.

Interesting info on that link Somamech...

Zorgon certainly did an amazing job on his thread Seeker...Sorry I missed it prior to posting...although Z included the Navy Laser under his star wars thread title..

Your right Biggles ! the Military always want the next best powerful thing..

They probably want their most powerful weapons if war like ETs arrive..

God help anyone who opposes them if those lasers become as powerful as we get to see on Sci Fi movies...

If war like ET's arrive ready for action I dont think anything we have or will build will help us.  They will probably laugh.

i read somewhere that the best way to track ufos is with laser because a ufo will bend laser light.this makes a straight line laser have a hump or a dip in it.
if this is true, then it may be the same for our military weapons grade lasers.they wouldnt penetrate, just go around them.
but i bet a depleted uranium round could punch a whole in one.
