I just ran into this, via a thread on GLP that I was looking at yesterday.

http://www.ecsys.org/ - Ecsys. It's apparently a philosophy modelled around what seems to be called Quantum Wave Collapse Theory, or what I know more colloquially as sliding. The author expresses the opinion that literally the only thing which exists is perspective, and that we can use that idea to change our own perspective to something closer to our own preference. It's an interesting idea, to say the least.

I read something a while back that put me in the same frame of mind, i.e. that your thoughts can alter 'reality', for what is 'real' except our perception of what goes on around us.
We are limited to only 5 senses, some of us may have 6

but reality stops there...

I have always thought that there were elements of that... But... In grasping that Consciousness is ALL and is "God," We are in cooperation with the ALL and may persuade, but not really control.

Thats the way i feel too, Amy

I'm not able to directly influence things around me, but i keep concentrating on what i want to happen, rather than just 'seeing what happens'-it does seem to make a difference, albeit a small one.
Some people maybe have more influence than others, some are able to exert some kind of influence either physically or mentally, to alter a situation. These people are usually natural leaders (which i am NOT

).
I have to go the long way...
A strange turn of events recently made me turn down a new job, simply because it was way under my abilities, so i'm stuck in my present job. This has also changed in that i'm able to work a 60 hour week, which means i will have more money to fund my projects.
OK i would rather earn the same money for 40 hours, but i'm not complaining, it's still a way forward

and i guess i'm lucky to have the work...

Youll be fine Amy, work isnt what we were meant to do as riders on this planet...at least not for others interests!

And Luke, good for you buddy! Standing your ground and making the best of it to preserve your sanity!

It seems the ALL does perceive what we share with it..I feel it absorbing my thoughts everyday during meditation and concentration..its a big sponge and can and will listen.

Every woman is looking for the ALL, because it is the one thing which always listens, eh?

As for perspective, and its perceived impact on our life outcome, it reminds me of the Secret, but a bit more defined. Perspective is how we see everything which has already occuring, and as such is doesnt make a difference how we concentrate or think hard when something is already occuring.

Perspective is always a slide too, as defined by the very geometric appearance of perspective..what is distant seems smaller, and what is close at hand holds more importance. I can see the philosophical aspects of this approach for sure!
