Indeed, my friend, life is like a circle.  What we do circles through all possibilities and then comes full circle...back to us.  When what circles back is darkness, we learn from it.  When what circles back is light, we bask in it. And we use that light to shine before others...darkness cannot stand against light. And so we make a difference.

I think that a Pegasus conference might be a real possibility.  It just scares me what harm it might do to any future I may have in politics.

And blush you might lady.  If the passion I have seen in some of our members (PERHAPS even me) extended into other areas then a conference could get.....erm..... interesting lol

americans, particularly christians and people who hold similar world views, have been one of the biggest charitable contributing nations on the planet.  we have more local help groups, organizations and government projects to help the poor, handicap and needy, than any other country. 

the issue at the moment seems to be that people in the usa are slowly edging toward the same poverty and since most of the planet hates us because of our leaders decisions, there will likely be no helping hands for us as a nation.  and if there is, the likelihood that the people who need it will actually get it, seems unlikely, particularly since the new paradigm is more and more resembling the kind of misery and disdain the leaders and power groups of africas nations have shown to their own poor and destitute.

the issue at the moment seems to be that people in the usa are slowly edging toward the same poverty and since most of the planet hates us because of our leaders decisions, there will likely be no helping hands for us as a nation.  and if there is, the likelihood that the people who need it will actually get it, seems unlikely, particularly since the new paradigm is more and more resembling the kind of misery and disdain the leaders and power groups of africas nations have shown to their own poor and destitute.

And that is why we must join together...so that we may help ourselves by helping those around us.

Too many times the ones who need help the most are the ones who are unable to get it.  They fall through the cracks, if you will.  We must step up and seal those cracks, or at least hold a safety net beneath them.

I, personally, don't have any liquid assests so monetary donations are out of the question.  But, we share what we have...clothes, food, shoes, coats, blankets, time.  All of us in this lttle neighborhood had to pool our resources to be able to provide water and ice for the homeless during this awful heat.

Never think that a kindness will go without return...remember the Circle of Life.
