Intelligent Intervention by Robert S Thomas

Quote
The missing link in the history of human evolution and a factual account of man's origin, including the ten steps to peace on Earth. The most compelling evidence ever assembled for the case of ancient alien astronauts in a single book.

An advanced-alien species, described by the Sumerians as the Anunnaki, traveled to Earth in our prehistoric past and co-inhabited our planet with primitive hominids. Modern man is a result of the offspring from their genetic engineering and the fusion of direct blood-lines from Anunnaki ancestors which courses through our veins...we are their children.

Understanding the true history of man helps us to not only observe the present more accurately, but prepare ourselves for the future.

Erich von Daniken pioneered and Zecharia Sitchen introduced the world to the concept of Ancient Aliens in the early 1970s. Bauval, Hancock, Dunn, Collins, von Ward and others fleshed in the evidence during the 80's & 90's. In the 21st century it will be David Wilcock and Robert Steven Thomas who convince a critical mass of educated, open-minded people in the world the reality of mankind's true evolution in conjunction with advanced-alien assistance. "Intelligent Intervention" is a contemporary masterpiece. It pulls together all of the most compelling evidence that has been gathering (but ignored by the main-stream Establishment) into a single, comprehensive, accurate description of human history. It reads like science fiction but is science fact. After you complete this book your understanding of history will never be the same. Moreover, you'll come to understand how each one of us can personally contribute to create a kinder world and better future for all humanity. 544 pages; Illustrated; Non-fiction.

Amazon Review.

Robert is sending me a signed copy for the price of a book review.

Erik von Danekin was who got me started on this path so many years ago.  I had gotten a copy of 'Chariots of the Gods' by Erik von Danekin and shortly after heard a debate between hin an a lady archaeologist on the Pierre Burton show in Toronto.

Erik stuck to his story, maintained throughout that it was all his own interpretation and it was up to the audience to decide. The archaeologist on the other hand did what main stream trhinkers have shown me is the norm and got angry. When she couldn't refute his work and couldn't offer her own wxplanation for those artifacts, she resorted to the age old tactic of attacking the opponent's credentials and person.

In the end Pierre Burton, though he said he didn't agree with Erik's conclusions, nevertheless declared him winner of the debate because of the way he handled himself and his presentation

As a side note, I later found out that Pierre Burton is related through my wife's side and I am now recorded in his family tree.

So Robert is following in Erik's and Sitchin's footsteps. As such he most certainly touches on subjects that are of interest to Pegasus, even if we don't agree on all the artifacts :D

I posted one such in the OOPSART thread..../ I will be posting more here soon.  As always this is the locked thread. Discussion will be in the parallel thread and I will invite Robert to stop by

Excerpts

This first one from Roberts website is one of the artifacts that I have found most curious.

Quote

On the shore of a lake near the northwestern border of Bolivia is an ancient archeological ruin. Credible researchers estimate its age to be as great as 10,000 years old. Among the scattered piles of boulders which once formed massive buildings and enclosures are carved-stone blocks, some weighing in excess of eighty tons. Many of these rocks are composed of granite and basalt, which are among the hardest substances on Earth. These piles of rubble contain a mystery. The stones have been intricately shaped and incised to form enormous, complex structures. The boulders were, in fact, cut by advanced machinery employing sophisticated, hydraulic, guided-instruments, utilizing either diamond tipped or similar laser-quality precision. The work simply cannot be reproduced by hand-craftsmanship and primitive tools. These facts are entirely logical and scientifically undeniable.

The mystery is not that these buildings were engineered and constructed with extremely advanced machines and capabilities comparable to, or in excess of, the most advanced modern tools and engineering capability we have available at this time. The only individuals who would claim otherwise are either ill-informed, cynically biased or intellectually dishonest. Moreover, many other similar ancient structures and anomalies are found on almost all of the Earth's continents. Additional direct, irrefutable and equally compelling evidence exists within many nations and cultures which unequivocally attest to, and prove that, an intellectually advanced, scientific-engineering capability was practiced and utilized on Earth at a remote date in our historical past.

The mystery is why Establishment archeologists, scientists and historians choose to ignore, cover-up and deny existence of the incontrovertible, direct evidence of this technology and those who possessed it. If you have the curiosity, open-mindedness and courage to read this book, your concept and understanding of the history of the human race will be utterly and forever changed.

Pumapunku also called "Puma Pumku" or "Puma Puncu", is part of a large temple complex or monument group that is part of the Tiwanaku Site near Tiwanaku, Bolivia. Tiwanaku is signifigant in Incan traditions because it is believed to be the site where the world was created. In Aymara, Puma Punku's name means, "The Door of the Puma". The Pumapunku complex consists of an unwalled western court, a central unwalled esplanade, a terraced platform mound that is faced with megalithic stone, and a walled eastern court. The Pumapunku is a terraced earthen mound that is faced with megalithic blocks. It is 167.36 meters wide along its north-south axis and 116.7 meters long along its east-west axis. On the northeast and southeast corners of the Pumapunku it has 20-meter wide projections that extend 27.6 meters north and south from the rectangular mound. The eastern edge of the Pumapunku is occupied by what is called the "Plataforma Lítica." The Plataforma Lítica consists of a stone terrace that is 6.75 by 38.72 meters in dimension. This terrace is paved with multiple enormous stone blocks. The Plataforma Lítica contains the largest stone slab found in both the Pumapunku and Tiwanaku Site. This stone slab is 7.81 meters long, 5.17 meters wide and averages 1.07 meters thick. Based upon the specific gravity of the red sandstone from which it was carved, this stone slab has been estimated to weigh 131 metric tons. The other stonework and facing of the Pumapunku consists of a mixture of andesite and red sandstone. The core of the Pumapunku consists of clay. The fill underlying selected parts of the edge of the Pumapunku consists of river sand and cobbles instead of clay. Excavations at the Pumapunku have documented “three major building epochs, in addition to small repairs and remodeling.”

At its peak, Pumapunku is thought to have been "unimaginably wondrous", adorned with polished metal plaques, brightly colored ceramic and fabric ornamentation, trafficked by costumed citizens, elaborately dressed priests and elites decked in exotic jewelry. Current understanding of this complex is limited due to its age, the lack of a written record, the current deteriorated state of the structures due to treasure hunting, looting, stone mining for building stone and railroad ballast, and natural weathering.

The area within the kilometer separating the Pumapunku and Kalasasaya complexes has been surveyed using ground-penetrating radar, magnetometry, induced electrical conductivity, and magnetic susceptibility. The geophysical data collected from these surveys and excavations have revealed in the area between the Pumapunku and Kalasasaya complexes the presence of numerous man-made structures. These structures include the wall foundations of buildings and compounds, water conduits, pool-like features, revetments, terraces, residential compounds, and widespread gravel pavements all of which now lie buried and hidden beneath the modern ground’s surface.

Age

Determining the age of the Pumapunku complex has been a focus of researchers since the discovery of the Tiwanaku site. As noted by Andean specialist, Binghamton University Anthropology professor W. H. Isbell, a radiocarbon date was obtained by Vranich from organic material from lowermost and oldest layer of mound-fill forming the Pumapunku. This layer was deposited during the first of three construction epochs and dates the initial construction of the Pumapunku at 1510 ±25 B.P. C14 (AD 440; calibrated, AD 536–600). Since the radiocarbon date came from the lowermost and oldest layer of mound-fill underlying the andesite and sandstone stonework, the stonework must have been constructed sometime after 1510 ±25 B.P. C14. The excavation trenches of Vranich show that the clay, sand, and gravel fill of the Pumapunku complex lie directly on the sterile middle Pleistocene sediments. These excavation trenches also demonstrated the lack of any pre-Andean Middle Horizon cultural deposits within the area of the Tiwanaku Site adjacent to the Pumapunku complex.

Engineering

The largest of these stone blocks is 7.81 meters long, 5.17 meters wide, averages 1.07 meters thick, and is estimated to weigh about 131 metric tons. The second largest stone block found within the Pumapunka is 7.90 meters long, 2.50 meters wide, and averages 1.86 meters thick. Its weight has been estimated to be 85.21 metric tons. Both of these stone blocks are part of the Plataforma Lítica and composed of red sandstone.[5] Based upon detailed petrographic and chemical analyses of samples from both individual stones and known quarry sites, archaeologists concluded that these and other red sandstone blocks were transported up a steep incline from a quarry near Lake Titicaca roughly 10 km away. Smaller andesite blocks that were used for stone facing and carvings came from quarries within the Copacabana Peninsula about 90 km away from and across Lake Titicaca from the Pumapunka and the rest of the Tiwanaku Site.

Archaeologists argue that the transport of these stones was accomplished by the large labor force of ancient Tiwanaku. Several theories have been proposed as to how this labor force transported the stones although these theories remain speculative. Two of the more common proposals involve the use of llama skin ropes and the use of ramps and inclined planes.

In assembling the walls of Pumapunku, each stone was finely cut to interlock with the surrounding stones and the blocks fit together like a puzzle, forming load-bearing joints without the use of mortar. One common engineering technique involves cutting the top of the lower stone at a certain angle, and placing another stone on top of it which was cut at the same angle. The precision with which these angles have been utilized to create flush joints is indicative of a highly sophisticated knowledge of stone-cutting and a thorough understanding of descriptive geometry. Many of the joints are so precise that not even a razor blade will fit between the stones. Much of the masonry is characterized by accurately cut rectilinear blocks of such uniformity that they could be interchanged for one another while maintaining a level surface and even joints. The blocks were so precisely cut as to suggest the possibility of prefabrication and mass production, technologies far in advance of the Tiwanaku’s Incan successors hundreds of years later. Tiwanaku engineers were also adept at developing a civic infrastructure at this complex, constructing functional irrigation systems, hydraulic mechanisms, and waterproof sewage lines.

Architecture

Puma Punku was a large earthen platform mound with three levels of stone retaining walls. Its layout is thought to have resembled a square. To sustain the weight of these massive structures, Tiwanaku architects were meticulous in creating foundations, often fitting stones directly to bedrock or digging precise trenches and carefully filling them with layered sedimentary stones to support large stone blocks.[9] Modern day engineers argue that the base of the Pumapunku temple was constructed using a technique called layering and depositing. By alternating layers of sand from the interior and layers of composite from the exterior, the fills would overlap each other at the joints, essentially grading the contact points to create a sturdy base.

Notable features at Pumapunku are I-shaped architectural cramps, which are composed of a unique copper-arsenic-nickel bronze alloy. These I-shaped cramps were also used on a section of canal found at the base of the Akapana pyramid at Tiwanaku. These cramps were used to hold the blocks comprising the walls and bottom of stone-lined canals that drain sunken courts. I-cramps of unknown composition were used to hold together the massive slabs that formed Pumapunku's four large platforms. In the south canal of the Pumapunku, the I-shaped cramps were cast in place. In sharp contrast, the cramps used at the Akapana canal were fashioned by the cold hammering of copper-arsenic-nickel bronze ingots. The unique copper-arsenic-nickel bronze alloy is also found in metal artifacts within the region between Tiwanaku and San Pedro de Atacama during the late Middle Horizon around 600–900.

Cultural and spiritual significance

It is theorized the Pumapunku complex as well as its surrounding temples, the Akapana pyramid, Kalasasaya, Putuni and Kerikala functioned as spiritual and ritual centers for the Tiwanaku. This area might have been viewed as the center of the Andean world, attracting pilgrims from far away to marvel in its beauty. These structures transformed the local landscape; Pumapunku was purposely integrated with Illimani mountain, a sacred peak that the Tiwanaku possibly believed to be home to the spirits of their dead. This area was believed to have existed between heaven and Earth. The spiritual significance and the sense of wonder would have been amplified into a "mind-altering and life-changing experience" through the use of hallucinogenic plants. Examinations of hair samples exhibit remnants of psychoactive substances in many mummies found in Tiwanaku culture mummies from Northern Chile, even those of babies as young as 1 year of age, demonstrating the importance of these substances to the Tiwanaku.

As was characteristic of civilizations around this time, the Tiwanaku actively incorporated human sacrifice into their culture. The remains of dismembered bodies have been found throughout the area. Ceramic artifacts depict imagery of warriors, masked with puma skulls, decapitating their enemies and holding trophy skulls, adorned with belts of human heads with their tongues torn out. It is believed that, because of certain markings on stones found at Puma Punku, the Gateway of the sun was originally part of Puma Punku.

Peak and decline

The Tiwanaku civilization and the use of these temples appears to some to have peaked from 700 to 1000 AD. by which point the temples and surrounding area may have been home to some 400,000 people. By this point, an extensive infrastructure had been developed with a complex irrigation system running over 30 square miles (80 km2) to support potatoes, quinoa, corn and other various crops. At its peak the Tiwanaku culture dominated the entire Lake Titicaca basin as well as portions of Bolivia and Chile.

The culture in question seems to have dissolved rather abruptly some time around 1000 AD and researchers are still seeking answers as to why. A likely scenario involves rapid environmental change, possibly involving an extended drought. Unable to support the massive crop yields necessary for their large population, the Tiwanaku are argued to have scattered into the local mountain ranges only to disappear shortly thereafter. Puma Punku is thought to have been abandoned before it was finished.

This review is from: Breaking the Mirror of Heaven: The Conspiracy to Suppress the Voice of Ancient Egypt (Paperback)
The archaeological treasures in Egypt are among the most valuable on Earth. They represent some of the most important keys to correctly understanding human history and evolution. As such, they remain an international treasure of such magnitude that they cannot be entrusted to the primitive citizens of Egypt alone. Robert Bauval, in addition to being a prolific writer and researcher on the modern understanding of Egyptian monuments and heritage, is also a native-born Egyptian. His Egyptian descent goes back three generations. So, when Bauval and his native-born co-author Ahmed Osman write a book which is a history of the last two-hundred years of Egyptian corruption, destruction and mis-representation of this priceless heritage, the people of the world need to wake up and take notice. Regrettably, the worse may be yet to come. While the Mubarak regime and extensive corruption of his Minister of Antiquities - Zahi Hawass, is only now coming to light, the present domination of Egypt's government by the fanatical-fundamentalist "Muslim Brotherhood" may represent the most far-reaching implications for additional waste and destruction of Egypt's priceless heritage on an unprecedented scale. There is serious talk at the highest levels of the Morsi government to blow-up and utterly destroy the ancient pyramids and temples in the name of "Allah." The authors have written a very important and revealing account of the corruptive scope under Egypt's government/rulers during the last two centuries. The commoners in Egypt's modern society are either too ignorant or apathetic to govern themselves effectively. This book represents a much needed "cry for help." Do your part by reading it and adding your voice to the international demand for a modern reasonable solution. Robert Steven Thomas, author:
