Are GoFundMe campaigns effctive?

Well that depends...

I have been running one for Pegasus and myself for several months... have collected 461.00 of my set goal of $10,000.  The idea was to reach out to the 4 million plus viewers that are the Silent Watchers.  The few friends that have helped out are MUCH APPRECIATED and I thank you for that support.

A few months back I set up one for a friend in Kansas, asking 1200.00 for travel expenses and medicine. That one failed mainly due to the friend not supporting it herself and promoting it on FB and to her friends. (Embarrassed to ask)

Another one I set up was when John Lear needed that AC Unit and he asked for $5000.00. That one I talked John into setting up, though he had hesitated to ask for that help.  John's notoriety and frind base is huge... We managed to get $6900.00 in just a month... but because people seem to thing that Pegasus is John's website, we were forgotten and I had to create a new one 

So YES they work... but they are based on the number of friends and contacts you can reach

I was just recently informed that Undo (Beth) is in the need for $2500.00 for medications and someone has been in touch with her.  Starting a GoFundme is a good start but as you can see from above results it will depend on how far it reaches.  It would be best if someone else started it and ran it as I have already created so many recently.

I was also told by a fund raising expert that a campaign is more successful if someone else runs it FOR you, instead of you doing your own

Now when i last spoke to Beth before all the ego stuff hit the fan here she was doing okay. I know she had contracted Gulf War syndrome from her husband who brought it back from a tour of duty, though he didn't catch it. She was in a coma and described her brain as being like Swiss cheese.


$2500.oo is not a lot  basically 50.00 from 50 people or 25.00 from 100 people so it is not a lofty goal

I was just informed of this a few hours ago vi PM from A51Watcher so there should be updates

Also haven't seen Irene online for several months.... she had said she was struggling with cancer. Has anyone heard from her lately?

One thing that has happened recently is that people are writing to me to seek funding for various projects. Once upon a time this WAS a goal of Pegasus but no one ever took interest in making Pegasus a real entity for things like that

One I was sent recenly seemed like a fraud. i posted that in a thread and a second one was posted today by The Seeker

Well there is a third one ( I will move this to another thread later) Reason I post it here now is reference to effectiveness

But I knew the name sounded familiar  (I was thinking Guy Cramer of Hyperstealth, Joe Resnick's partner)  But Randy Cramer is tied to Corey Goode and Mike Salla
