some of those  quarters are worth more than 25 cents..

mistakes , in this case, are worth looking for  8)

'In God We Rust' 2005 Kansas state quarter

Coin Community

It may seem like a major mistake, but in 2005 some KANSAS state quarters were misprinted to say “In God We Rust” or “NSAS” instead of Kansas, all because someone didn’t properly clean the coin press! Today these mistake quarters could be worth up to $100 each!

1932-1964 silver quarter

Coin Auctions Help
From 1932 to 1964, the U.S. mint produced quarters that were approximately 90% silver and 10% copper. These quarters may look like any regular .25 coin, but in the right condition they could be worth up to $65!

2004 Wisconsin state quarter with an extra leaf

Coin Collecting Guide For Beginners

From 1999 to 2008, the United States treasury released the 50 States Quarters series, which had different icons to represent every state from Alabama to Wyoming. Back in 2004, you probably didn’t look closely at the Wisconsin quarter, but maybe you should today. If it has an extra on the left side, it could be worth 1200 times its price… that’s $300!

A printing error by the U.S. Mint could cost one lucky buyer $35,000. USA TODAY
The seller of a rare 1970 U.S. quarter is asking $35,000 for his coin, according to an eBay listing.

Almost 2,400 potential buyers are watching the item, and rare-coin dealer Mike Byers of Las Vegas had received dozens of inquiries by Wednesday. He has offered it for sale, at first with only a description, since August, according to eBay records.

Because of a U.S. Mint error, the quarter, produced at the San Francisco mint, was not struck over a blank but instead over a 1941 Canadian quarter, according to Byers.

I have some stamps I need to find a value on :D

Back in the 70's I was in germany and bought a little packet of stamps on envelopes. When i took them home to soak in water to remove them from the paper...  one pair seperated in an odd way...\

Seems what happened in printing was a second sheet overlapped the bottom row  and went to the cutting machine

The result is I have two of these and since sheets are usually 10 x10  there would only be 10 possible in the world... so I might possibly have the only 2 because these were sold as cheap lots for kids starter sets  and came from the one government office. So it is possible no one noticed the others like I did...

Seems they should have some value :D
