I don't know about other countries but most folks in the USA have given in and allowed their body fluids to be collected and examined just to apply for employment.  People now accept drug testing as a routine grotesque intrusion.  Of course if everyone refused this then employers would cease this profane practice after a short time without workers but there's always lots of people who take short term gain for long term sacrifice rather than taking the short term sacrifice for the long term gain.

These devices I predict will be accepted just like drug testing have became until so many employers demand it as routine that nobody will buck the trend.  Then after a couple of decades it will just be the norm, again just like the drug testing.

Having your entire life an open book to an employer is slavery.  You can argue that you can quit but good luck surviving financially once the majority goes along with it.

The interesting thing about UA's for drug use is that 99% of the time the results are negative. Of course it is a way to proactively discourage drug use.

Have you ever seen someone on drugs accidently run over other workers with a forklift, or a bulldozer? Or "accidently" cut someone's fingers off with a skilsaw?

Absolutely. Under the influence, a user's judgment is often grossly impaired. Alcohol is a good example. Hundreds of people are killed every year by drunks who believe they are capable of driving and are not.

If you're going to abuse drugs, do it at home and stay there until you are sober and will not endanger innocent people.
