Into the Vortex - A New Look Discussion Thread
Main thread here:

Sinny:
Would it be normal for somebody like Byrd to keep a diary updated like that?
Shouldn't he have been busy flying?
Real question lol.
Also, coool. I want to go to Rosslyn Chapel - this summer actually.
Think there's anything I can do on my end I can do to detect anything weird?
Within my limited capability, obviously :P

Irene:
I would like to contribute to this thread the title of a book on my To Read list. I added it quite a while ago, right after it was published, however I have been distracted by other books along the way.
The Fog by Bruce Gernon
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/0738707570/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1454171700&sr=1-1&pi=SL75_QL70&keywords=Bruce+Gernon
At the time I added it to my list it was described as the account of the author's experience as a small plane pilot off the east coast of Florida. He claims to have entered a fog bank something like 50 miles off the coast and, almost instantly, inexplicably ended up over the coast moments later.
I'm not endorsing this book as I haven't read it yet nor am I recommending you buy it. It could be a bad book. I don't know, but it deals with material very similar to the thread topic.
Irene :)
