What I cooked last night
« on: June 17, 2017, 05:47:16 am »
Filet' mignon, steamed asparagus, baked potato, mushrooms and onions.
The only seasoning I use for this is salt & pepper.
I think steak marinade ruins the taste of the meat.

(oh and a couple of glasses of Charles Krug merlot) ;D

One thing I love in these posts is the way you present it like a pro.

Unfortunately, looking is the only thing we can do through the Internet, as that looks tasty.  :)

PS: I only know how to cook white rice, pasta and microwave omelets.  :(

Thanks, but it only takes practice. Now that I'm retired, I have a lot of time on my hands.

I think I need to get some mushrooms.  I have onion.  Not sure about baking potatoes.  I don't have central a/c, and I hate using the oven on hot days.  The more I think about it, I think the steak with onions are mushrooms are probably the only things I agree with.  The hubby won't eat asparagus, and I don't care for merlot.  I prefer Strongbow Gold.
