As seen on the TV program Unsolved Mysteries !

Dannion Brinkley had a NDE and came back to life with the ability to predict some future events !

http://www.dannion.com/

Dannion Brinkley (born July 20, 1950) is an American author who described two near death experiences (NDEs) in his 1994 book Saved by the Light.[1] He is also a hospice volunteer, speaker, and prominent figure in the New Age and New Thought Movement.[2]

First near death experience[edit]
In Saved by the Light Brinkley explained that he was struck by lightning on September 17, 1975, while using a telephone at his home in Aiken, South Carolina. He said he was clinically dead for 28 minutes. During these 28 minutes Brinkley said he experienced many characteristic details of a near death experience as well as certain unique ones. His account includes an out-of-body experience with extensive observations of physical surroundings, passing through a tunnel, a high-speed and detailed life review and an encounter with beings who showed him visions of the future and discussed with him his life mission. Brinkley said he had a strong reluctance to return to his physical body, but he was sent back to fulfill a mission.[1]

Brinkley said when he re-entered his body in the hospital he blew on the sheet that was covering his head. His friend noticed the moving sheet and said, "he's still alive!" By the end of September 1975 he was released from the hospital.[1]

Shortly after the event occurred Brinkley told his story to near-death researcher Raymond Moody.[3] In the Introduction to Saved by the Light, Moody wrote Brinkley's near death experience stands as one of the most incredible he has ever heard.[1]

Other near death experiences[edit]
In May 1989 Brinkley had heart failure and went to the East Cooper Hospital in Charleston, South Carolina where he had a second near death experience. Brinkley said he had another life review and was taken by a being to a place with pleasant sounds and smells. Brinkley was released from the hospital in a few weeks.[1]

On September 17, 1997 Brinkley had brain surgery to remove a subdural hematoma and had a third near death experience. In The Secrets of the Light he explained that he traveled to a "blue-gray place" that was like purgatory. In this place he said he saw soldiers, martyrs and those unable to reach a level of forgiveness. Following surgery Brinkley had a tonic–clonic seizure and after nearly thirty days in the hospital he was released.[4]

Skepticism and Controversy[edit]
First Near Death Experience[edit]
A local newspaper article published right after the first near death experience quoted Brinkley saying he was "out for a few minutes" until his wife revived him by pounding on his chest.[5] Additionally, Gilmore Eaves (dec.) told a British documentary crew that Brinkley's story about being dead was "not true.".[6] Brinkley has responded to these claims.[7]

Visions of the Future[edit]
Brinkley said he received visions of future events during his near death experience. At least one was reported to Raymond Moody within seven months, that there would be a breakdown of the Soviet Union in 1990 and subsequent food riots. Moody later said Brinkley's forecast struck him as "silly and absurd" at the time but later proved accurate.[3] Brinkley's visions also reportedly included the 1986 Chernobyl nuclear disaster and the 1990–1991 Persian Gulf War, but there was no written account of these visions prior to his 1994 book. Brinkley forecasted a 1995 nuclear accident in Norway and a pre-2000 economic collapse in the United States that never happened.[8] And, according to Moody, other prophetic visions Brinkley made after his first near death experience never materialized the way Brinkley said they would.[3] Brinkley responded to these claims on The West Coast Truth with Russell Scott in May 2012. Brinkley still to this day has psychic visions. [9]

THE PROPHECIES OF DANNION BRINKLEY
In 1975, during a thunderstorm, Dannion Brinkley was talking on the telephone when a bolt of lightning hit the phone line, sending thousands of volts into his head and down through his body. Brinkley was thrown across the room, and later reported seeing his lifeless body spread prone, as his then girlfriend found him and paramedics arrived. Obviously disoriented, in his spirit-form above the scene, he wondered what the excitement was about, since (as he put it) “Everybody was okay….” He saw auras around everybody in the room except his own body below — a pretty big hint that he was, in fact, dead.
As doctors pronounced Brinkley dead at the local hospital, he reportedly found himself — or, more specifically, his spirit-self – traveling through a dark tunnel toward an angelic being who led him into a crystal city. There, he entered a cathedral of knowledge where he was shown 13 visions, contained in what he termed “boxes.” So-called “beings of light” also showed him 117 glimpses of possible future events, of which 95 have come to pass (by his count) in early 1998.
Brinkley revived in the morgue some 28 minutes after his death and later gave a personal account of his near-death experience (NDE) in the book, ”Saved by the Light”, first published in 1995.
As recounted in the book, the events of that day changed Brinkley’s life. He spent many months recovering from the physically debilitating effects of the electrical blast, while at the same time discovering mind-reading abilities that, while lessening over time, remain with him to this day. A second near-death experience, a few years later, reunited Brinkley with his angelic teachers, who revealed he was to use his psychic gifts to help the dying.
Another book, ”At Peace in the Light,” soon followed. In September 1997, Brinkley was hospitalized with life threatening brain aneurysms. Despite medical opinions to the contrary, he miraculously survived. During that time, he had a third near-death experience. Besides lectures and book signings, Dannion Brinkley currently does hospice work — using his experiences and gifts to help those who are nearing, and perhaps fear, death.

There is also a movie about Dannion called "saved by the Light"  Eric Roberts plays Dannion...

I first talked to Dannion Brinkley on coast to coast am during the mid 90's, before the hema-toma surgery; this led me to Dr Raymond Moody and contact with many that, like I, have had graphic NDE's...

Mr Brinkley was banned from the casino's in Vegas because he could make the slots jackpot...

a touch of your hand and Dannion could tell what lay ahead for you...

Hi Seeker,

Maybe you have already wrote a thread about him..its good that you are familiar with him and had actually talked to him..

your reply is very interesting, some fascinating facts..

I wonder what Matrix has to say about it...and if this is some case of when he initially passed and came back he seemed to have obtained such powers !...

Certainly extremely thought provoking if he could tell ones outlook by a touch !... :o

I have spoken to so many facing death I have lost count.

I had many, many patients referred to me, who were facing the inevitable (In the hundreds or thousands)
to find some comfort in what I had experienced.

I also have had discussions with those interested in the subject through Invite.
(Involving many from Medical Sciences)

The experience of Death and NDE's is far more common than people realise.

Sadly many in ignorance, can only accept NDE's and NOT that one has died and returned to this program.
I guess mainly because those who haven't experienced this often fear Death, simply because
of the unknown to them !

What most see as death is Only a MYTH.   :)

LIFE is "Eternal" whereas the human experience is like the twinkling of an eye.

Aye, Matrix; this journey in the meatsuit is but a brief whistle stop...

I have(or had)  a very long thread over at spookz about my death and what I remember...

but most peeps are scared from the incessant programing from birth that this is all there is, ya don't wanna die and go to HeLL!...

yet never realise it is the experience that counts...

I was wondering Matrix, if you may have any comments about how Dannion Brinkley came back to life and seemed to have the knowledge of events that would happen in the future ! or that he could make contact with some people and seemed to be able to tell them what their outcome maybe ?

Is it because somehow he obtained the info from the Earth or environment Program... and somehow just seemed to be able to connect with such information !

I do believe the best thing for me to do is to request that I be deleted from this group otherwise you are not going to like what I have to say about this death group and the testing by someone.

Not sure what you mean exactly Deuem, I can only take a guess..
I assume you mean to just be dleted from  this thread and not PRC as a forum...

If you have some info worth sharing that may conflict with what I initially posted, after having done some research...I am sure that it would be worth posting...

I am sure that we all see two sides or more of any debate and that we can  vary in our opinions as we find out more information...

If any undesirable disagreements should arise ,maybe the thread could be split for each side to make their comments if they wish to do so..if that may be something that is of a concern...Maybe the Moderators can advise or help on that....

It is NOT the human Primate, that is in Control of anything .... as the human Primate is only PART of a "Story" !

The One in "CONTROL" is LIFE !

Its NOT about the human Primate, but about LIFE and its "Processing System", everything is Presented
and Experienced through.

We (Portions or "Partitions of LIFE", NOT flesh) ALL have access to ALL experiences.

"Doubt", "Hatred", and "Envy", etc. come as a result of the "Double Logic" present within the Human Genome.

But these Emotions are there for a Purpose, involving the processes taking place in "The Metamorphosis".

Some fear the fact they are NOT in Control, even though they believe to be, (and are frustrated
by the fact they aren't) but thank goodness the human Primate isn't in control, and is only the "Story"
which brings about or invokes "The Metamorphosis".

If the human Primate was in Control they would NOT Die !   ::)

Unless of course they die because they seek death, but I don't believe any normal "Entity" does seek Death.

This group
  • Paranormal Studies and Reports
  • It has nothing to do with you Astro. It has to do with the religion of death and being a nothing. I don't want any part of it anymore. It is a brainwashing game that I do not wish to play. The trap is laid out all over this site. Just need to see it. Believe in yourself, you are real, you are not a figment.

Besides if I am just a figment of someone Else's imagination or an act in the game then why would anyone care. I am not real. Yet you and I are very real. Don't get fooled by this brainwashing. It is nothing more than a cult religion drawing in young members. Want some koolaide.

Websites like this one attract many walks of people that are after you to pray at their feet. They start cults and adopt new members by many means. Be yourself Astro. Now the people that can see this will understand but the cultest will fight me and ask for me to be removed. There is the power struggle. Telling someone how you should feel and act is the first step to a cult. The weak will fall in line the strong will blow it off. The more weak ones, the stronger the cult.

To answer your question. It is this group

  • Paranormal Studies and Reports  and any other group that has been taken over by the Death Cult.
  • Not Peggy just the cult areas. I want to keep my mind my own and free of the cults. Even reading it clouds thoughts and makes anyone feel upset. That is their goal. Upset your mind to take over. Get on your knees and bow at the new alter of the Death Cult. I am not bowing or getting on my knees.

I know a Glomod is now hunting Deuem for the Menu. He has been hunting me for at least 6 months now. It was the main reason I bowed out from being a mod. I was being told, not talked to to what or how I should do things. Things are being taken over from the inside and I am on the list because I will not bow. Most of what is going on can be taken right back to this Cult of activities and also the Cult that is taking us down from day to day. So we are being attacked from the inside and the outside.

I am the same Deuem I have always been. The rest of this place is changing around us and I don't like where it is going. Deleting my post will only prove my point. I am not ranting nor mad as I wrote this. Just saying what is going on and how it pertains to this thread. I was asked a question and responded.

I think I can see your view...

As for the topic...It may seem like one that some may consider could have some interest if one believes such thing may be possible...while others may see it as being mystic...and BS !

On this forum many things are discussed and many hard to believe..so I suppose many members do not really know what may or may not be possible...but at the same time many do limit what they see as being possible...but it can be down to ones views.

Initially I was going to post this in the general topics thread..but later thought maybe it would be seen as paranormal....

Putting it in a Paranormal group...I thought was the better option as I thought Paranormal means more questionable ! Not factual ....
I thought that its a topic area that is then left for readers to decide for themselves if they wish to read such material that may be seen as having no real evidence to support the topic ..

Do I believe in any of the paranormal...I will say somethings that I believe that I have come across are certainly hard to explain..and maybe could be classed as such a topic...

As I have not experienced a NDE personally..Only read about some or seen certain TV programs.... Initially some of the facts were made to seem challenging to consider...and hard to prove or disprove..

Whether or not one is seen as weak or mystic for considering such things... Like religion... Most I do not strictly believe..but somethings may have certain things that are worth considering...that could have some facts that maybe from our past history...

If you really think about it and I am not dumping on religion but all religions are all based on believing in the mystic. Thinking/Believing of a higher level out of reach to yourself. None of it can be proved 100%. Just like UFO's The jerks out there prey on the ignorance of the mass to sell their CGI junk as real. While in the real world there may be real stuff but rejected because of all the stupid flack surrounding it.

Maybe there is also a real God, I can't say one way or the other 100% but with all the flack in this area we will never get to the truth. Knowing this other facets of humanity use this as a spring board to set up gullible followers, Like the UT UFO CGI gangs. They want to be worshiped too. These are all internet cults of a sort. Followings to a new lord and master.

One of the reasons I no longer like to post my finding is because of this very reason. I was told that I was creating a Deuem Cult. So I stopped. No worship at the Deuem room today. Even though I thought what I was doing was important, It seems other thought it was so overwhelming that I was rising to a new GOD level. That was not my goal.

Oddly enough, it seems there is validity possible in both camps here.

My two personal NDE's were....first....being electrocuted by 220 as a boy in wet shoes, being unresponsive with no heartbeat for almost 10 minutes, and seeing or remembering nothing until I spontaneously awakened with no injury or recollection. The EMT's (who came 8 minutes after the call from what Im told)were quite shocked, and hadnt even got their defib fired up yet.....as they tried to figure out what to do, I hopped back on my bike and rode away.

The second...I went to sleep in a hotel room in 2009, and for some reason realized I had died in that very sleep. It was surreal to say the least, whereas everything I had ever experienced was as a short 30 second video, and all the lessons I had learned were like reading a short simply worded pamphlet of maybe a hundred words..insignificant my life seemed at that point.

Then, as I was in full realization I had entered another realm, perhaps in my mind, maybe not..I felt suddenly compelled to awaken..and did...and to this day, I believe my meatsuit still operates in the same world it was in before. I didnt say a word to anyone for a couple years, and have up to now felt no effects of this experience on my health.

Im no martyr, and not important to many on any scale, nor do I feel as if I am to be a big difference maker in the world.....but I do feel for some odd reason I have been presented with a reboot or new chance....and ever since I have lived my life (or tried my damndest) in service to mankind and family much more than ever before, so it was in all a positive set of experiences for me, especially the latter one.

Seeker, Matrix, Astro, thanks for the sharing of your thoughts, as well as Deuem, yours too.

Deuem, can you go beyond the clear cut non-fondness for such a realm of research, and perhaps give a personal explanation for why some come back enlightened after such experiences, and some dont?

I do respect your opinion here friend.

Do you think it is just luck of the draw, or might there be something there which we can learn from, cultish and religious connotations aside?

You know me by now...enough to know that I abhor ALL religions and have absolutely zero respect for anyone who thanks an anthropomorphic god for anything that happens in the due course of a lifetime.

Cultish behaviour is so off the table, it is in the kitchen being placed in the trash as well....those who wish to lord over others are destined for true death of their life here in a universe of nothing but desire to return to the stillness.

Personally I feel for every idea and thought, there is a profound reason they form in our minds....and each and every one of these NDE's can be looked at and examined for what they mean...did someone just have a strong heart which started beating again, or is there another level of connection with some energetic force of nature which allows for a return to this plane?

Looking forward to a civil discussion involving both sides here...thanks ahead of time amigos.

Le
Hermetically sealed, for your protection
