We’ve Been Conned

Secret documents prove
global cover-up of continued
Fukushima radiation pollution

A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request filed by

and

has unearthed a shocking series of new evidence proving

a deliberate,
global cover-up
of the true severity of the
Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster.

Quote
The executive branch and multiple federal agencies, agencies tasked with keeping the American public safe, did their best to hide and to cover-up information about a deadly radioactive plume and ensuing fallout that was headed for the West Coast of the United States from Japan.

And the unfortunate reality is that the mainstream media continues to blatantly ignore this colossal death-dealing nuclear scandal.

We calls it as we sees it.

con·spir·a·cy noun
plural con·spir·a·cies

Definition of CONSPIRACY
1    : the act of conspiring together
2 a : an agreement among conspirators
   b : a group of conspirators

"Private emails, meeting transcripts and other key documents reveal that both the Obama White House and the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) were well aware of just how bad things really were with Fukushima from the early days of the disaster,

“...but did nothing to warn the public about it.”

“In fact, NRC and the White House purposely did not warn Americans about a massive radiation plume that struck the West Coast just days after the massive earthquake and tsunami hit Japan's eastern coast.”

Once in the jet stream, the radioactive particles travel across the Northern Hemisphere, coming back down to earth with rain, snow, or other precipitation.

Five days after the Fukushima meltdowns began, radioactive fallout from the disaster reached the West Coast of the United States.

Approximately a week later, Fukushima fallout was measured as far away as France.

Simulation Map of Cesium-137 Deposition Across the Pacific by CEREA Shows Contamination in US Greater Than That of Western Japan

France's CEREA has the simulation map of ground deposition of Cesium-137 from the Fukushima I Nuclear Power Plant accident on its "Fukushima" page. It not only shows Japan, but also the entire northern Pacific Rim, from Russian Siberia to Alaska to the West Coast of the US to the entire US.

According to the map, the US, particularly the West Coast and particularly California, may be more contaminated with radioactive cesium than the western half of Japan or Hokkaido.

It looks more contaminated than South Korea or China. Canada doesn't look too well either, particularly along the border with US on the western half.

Before the self-serving unethical removal of all tracking systems from public view by those with a vested interest, the Fukushima IRSN (France) site published this cesium dispersion map clearly indicating worldwide saturation of not only Iodine-131, but also Cesium-137.

Gee whiz, Wally, haven’t we been sounding the alarm since that fateful day?

Will America's Nuclear Power Plants Fail in an 8.0 Earthquake?

According to information gathered from hundreds of pages worth of private NRC emails, conference calls and secret meetings, key players in the Fukushima whitewashing campaign, including the NRC's David McIntyre and Elliot Brenner, were hard at work in the days following the disaster distracting public attention away from it.

David McIntyre also works in the NRC on public affairs, and spent much of his time creating carefully crafted e-mails that constantly downplayed the disaster, and any relationship that might be made to the safety status of US nuclear stations.”

The above map depicts the locations of the 104 Commercial Nuclear Reactors in America.

Information pertaining to radiation monitoring worldwide from a variety of sources was suppressed and subsequently scrubbed from the Internet. This is from CTBT Science and Technology in Vienna, Austria.

By pretending that a radioactive plume did not exist while simultaneously sending out misinformation to the media, these two, in conjunction with White House officials,

actively participated
in a criminal cover-up
of the truth

as a distraction to divert public attention away from Fukushima, and away from the 104 commercial nuclear reactors in America that are of a similar age and vulnerability as Fukushima.

A total of 111,592,997 people (36% of the total population of the US) live within 50 miles of a nuclear plant.

The USGOV/NRC is quick to bandy about the ‘104’ reactors number to instill in the American psyche that the above map of those reactors is the end of it.

This is hardly all of the ill-fated truth. One of these nukes may be in a neighborhood near you.

How much do you really know about the number and locations of these death-dealing monstrosities?

How many people live near a nuclear power plant in the USA? | ZEIT ONLINE

Sixty-five (65) commercial nuclear power plants (with 104 reactors) are currently in operation in the United States. After radioactive material escaped from Japan’s Fukushima power plant, everyone within 30 kilometres (18 miles) of the doomed plant was evacuated.

Our map shows how many people live close to US nuclear power plants who would have to be evacuated in a similar situation. We have also included three Canadian nuclear power plants that are dangerously close on our Northern border.

Click here for large map of U.S. Nuclear Power Reactor Locations

Another gigantic elephant in the American room is the veritable plethora of nuclear facilities that are not included in the much bandied about ‘104 commercial reactors’ number - which is designed to lull some of the less-informed (yes, LeDave, you people on Rio Linda), to ignore these not-so-nice neighbors whom may be quietly polluting your neighborhood - forever - with the nuclear waste shell game.

Here is the Construction and Operating License Status for the US as of this writing:

Just for grins, let’s see how many of these other nukes might be near you?

ML-1, first closed cycle gas turbine. Initial criticality March 30, 1961. Designed for 300 kW, but only achieved 140 kW. Operated for only a few hundred hours of testing. The ML-1 was designed by Aerojet General Corporation to test an integrated reactor package that was transportable by military semi-trailers, railroad flatcars, and barges. This reactor was shut down in 1965.

It might be worth noting here that just the US Nuclear Fleet generates in excess of 10,000 tons of high-level radioactive spent fuel per year.

Do the math and then ask this: how is this deadly material transported to where it’s being stored - which brings us to the next logical conclusion:

It is not sheer insanity to keep generating this deadly radioactive waste with no long-term safe storage plan?

United States Naval reactors

Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory
Quote
Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory (KAPL) is a research and development facility dedicated to the support of the US Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program. KAPL is a government-owned, contractor operated laboratory run by Bechtel Marine Propulsion Corporation for the United States Department of Energy. KAPL is responsible for the research, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of U.S. nuclear-powered warships.

KAPL operates two sites in the Schenectady, New York area: the Knolls site in Niskayuna and the Kenneth A. Kesselring site in West Milton. Niskayuna is the primary site for the KAPL, focusing on the design and development of naval propulsion plants and reactor cores. The West Milton site operates land-based prototypes of shipboard reactor plants.

This site is also used to train officers and enlisted personnel for the U.S. Navy's fleet of nuclear powered vessels. KAPL employs more than 2,600 people at these sites and others, mostly shipyards in the states of California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maine, Virginia, and Washington.

Has anyone been counting? How many does that add up to? Whatever the total number of these ‘deadly neighbor forever’ nuclear facilities adds up to, it’s way too many.

Our friend, Ken, ModernSurvivalBlog, nails the ‘what if’ scenario quite succinctly less than two weeks after the (ongoing) Fukushima disaster/fiasco changed the world forever.

March 24, 2011

"What if a Carrington Event solar flare were to occur, like what had happened in 1859?

Astrophysicists know that it WILL happen again, it’s just a matter of when. If an extreme solar event like that were to take down the electrical power grid, and-or damage electronic systems from its EMP effects, how long would it be before any, some, most, or all of these nuclear power plants would runaway to meltdown?

What if a true EMP weapon, or weapons, were to detonate and take down all electrical systems of a region, or wider, what then?

Are the backup generators and their associated electrical control systems impervious to EMP-type effects for example?

What about the control systems of the reactors themselves, are they EMP-proof?

What if the New Madrid fault zone were to unleash a magnitude 9+ earthquake, which geologists agree is possible, then how would the nuclear plants avoid catastrophe at the reactors in northern Arkansas, eastern Missouri, or others nearby?

What if the San Andreas tears loose in California, how will Diablo Canyon and San Onofre handle it?

What if there is an unforeseen ‘physical’ attack on one of these reactors?

What can the containment vessels withstand with regards to missiles of various strengths?

What if there is a cyber ‘virus’ attack along the lines of the Stuxnet computer virus that attacked the Iranian nuclear development facilities?

These simple questions led me to create a map of all U.S. nuclear reactors, both operational and decommissioned, so to have a look see where the danger zones ‘might’ be, should a worst-case-scenario occur.

It is difficult to impossible to answer the question, “How far away is a safe distance from a nuclear reactor?”, so I’ve created 100 mile radius zones (200 mile diameter) around each nuclear plant to provide some visual perspective. Yellow zones are around decommissioned plants.

Remember, it’s all about the wind direction too. The prevailing winds in the US are typically from west to east while normally dipping down into the south-central U.S. before bending back up the east coast.

Looking at the map density of the circle zones, I’m glad I’m out West."

"The federal government recently sponsored a detailed scientific study to better understand how much critical components of our national electrical power grid might be affected by either a naturally occurring GMD or a man-made EMP."

"Under the auspices of the EMP Commission and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and reviewed in depth by the Oak Ridge National Laboratory and the National Academy of Sciences, Metatech Corporation undertook extensive modeling and analysis of the potential effects of extreme geomagnetic storms on the US electrical power grid.

Based upon a storm as intense as the 1921 storm, Metatech estimated that within the United States, induced voltage and current spikes, combined with harmonic anomalies, would severely damage or destroy over 350 EHV power transformers critical to the functioning of the US grid and possibly impact well over 2000 EHV transformers worldwide."

EHV transformers are made-to-order and custom-designed for each installation, each weighing as much as 300 tons and costing well over $1 million.

"Given that there is currently a three-year waiting list for a single EHV transformer (due to recent demand from China and India, lead times grew from one to three years), and that the total global manufacturing capacity is roughly 100 EHV transformers per year when the world's manufacturing centers are functioning properly, you can begin to grasp the implications of widespread transformer losses."

Report of the Commission to Assess the Threat to the United States from Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) Attack

What do extended grid blackouts have to do with potential nuclear catastrophes?

Nuclear power plants are designed to disconnect automatically from the grid in the event of a local power failure or major grid anomaly; once disconnected, they begin the process of shutting down the reactor's core.

In the event of the loss of coolant flow to an active nuclear reactor's core, the reactor will start to melt down and fail catastrophically within a matter of a few hours, at most.

In an extreme GMD,
nearly every reactor in the world
could be affected.

How many people live near a nuclear power plant in the USA?

Quote
It is true that the NRC has worked hard against the burden of purchasing, storing, and maintaining a fresh supply of KI (potassium iodide) for those populations closest to nuclear reactors.

In 2009, the NRC actually canceled its policy on KI distribution, stating that it was unnecessary, as it did not protect against all radionuclides that could be potentially released, would cause undue stress on the community, and would delay critical response time by adding more duties to local, state and federal staff.

Does “undue stress on the community” trump the invisible, slow death by fallout?

One might surmise that amongst a host of other government travesties, RICO statutes were also violated, so now would be the time for the US Attorney General to step in and protect us - we, the people, of the United States of America.

Eric H. Holder is probably in on it.

Unfortunately, it is painfully obvious that ‘Fast-N-Furious Slippery Eric’ will not take any action against his cohorts here.

Starting at the top, the most prestigious office in the land, the President of the United States, we are continuing to witness corruption at the highest level - government agencies hiding the truth and deliberately deceiving the public - designed to disenfranchise American citizens of the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness - not to mention the implementation of mass genocide here in the homeland and worldwide.

This fish stinks from head to tail!

Interestingly enough, and surely by co-inkydink, the Qur’an burnings in Afghanistan were taking place and hogging the MSM headlines and ‘face time’ just as these documents were being made public.

It should be no surprise that the corporate controlled mainstream media is ignoring this blockbuster revelation even now instead of exposing it and demanding an investigation.

Issa calls Obama admin. ‘the most corrupt government in history’

“If they reported to the White House and the White House did nothing, shame on the White House,” he said. “But even if they didn’t report to the White House, we still have to say,

‘Why weren’t they doing their job of protecting the American people?’

Political appointees cost a lot of money to the taxpayers.
If they’re… giving awards for bad behavior, they’ve got to go.”

Fukushima now radiating everyone: 'Unspeakable' reality

Just as Australia's SBS exposed in depth the reality of the 2010 BP Gulf of Mexico catastrophe unlike any U.S. mainstream news station, Sunday, Australia's CBS has now exposed in depth the Fukushima catastrophe.

Quote
"The Fukushima crisis is far from over. The crippled nuclear power plant is still leaking; and, judging from Chernobyl, recovery will not be measured in years, more like centuries," reported the Australian presenter Liz Hayes.

Australia's CBS exposed the "unspeakable" realities of the Japanese catastrophe in its 60 Minutes program Sunday night during which leading nuclear scientist Dr. Michio Kaku said,

"Radiation from Fukushima will impact of all of humanity."

The nuclear energy power industry violation of the right to health is apparent throughout the new Australian report.

"In fact, the whole world will be exposed from the radiation from Fukushima,"

Dr. Kaku told CBS reporter Liz Hayes.

Dr. Kaku told Hayes,

"If you've been exposed to Cesium because you're a nuclear power worker, even after your long dead and buried, your grave site will be radioactive."

"Your great grand kids can come to your grave site with a Geiger counter and see that great granddaddy still has radiation at his grave site."

Intrepid reporter Hayes continues,

“The human face of this dreadful situation can be seen in shelters in public buildings. It’s where you’ll find families, old and young, struggling to retrieve their lives - a near impossibility when all you have is a cardboard box to mark out your spot, your home.

I don’t know how Japan will recover, and how these refugees will survive.

Like Chernobyl,
Fukushima could well
become a dead zone,
where no one will
ever be able to return.”

As usual, brilliantly put together!

I, for One, have always been aware of the issues, knowing that Fukushima was WAY worse than Chernobyl.  How could it NOT be?

I avoid the rain - have from the day of the "earthquake."  *I* knew it could be deadly.

So.  What do We do NOW?
"If the universe is made of mostly Dark Energy...can We use it to run Our cars?"

We have to find a way to monitor for ourselves.

http://radiationnetwork.com/

Been keeping up with it since it began.  The US is allowing seafood imports from there.  Canada has sent back irradiated products, California and the rest of the West Coast also is getting hit.  The government of ours is not helping.

Hope this helps.

Yet another mega-thread, Thor ;)

OK i know it, i've been exposed to some pretty deadly stuff over the years so my days are numbered.
But i'm so glad you did this to get people aware of what's entering their bodies, it's just insane!

Los Alamos should have kept theirs, though, they did some remarkable pioneering research into proton-proton interactions :P
And in Holland they are calling for shutting down all reactors except those used for isotopes for medical research, so that's a start at least...

One thing we must keep foremost in our minds: We don't need nuclear power, we have plenty of alternatives, only it's not so profitable for the oil companies.

And who do you think were the first on the scene after the accident??

Police, international rescue, greenpeace?
No, it was the oil companies, offering diesel generators to rent..... >:(

Exclusive Arnie Gundersen Interview:
The Dangers of Fukushima Are Worse and Longer-lived Than We Think

As Gundersen explained in an interview last Friday:

"I am in touch with some scientists now who have been monitoring the air on the West Coast and in Seattle for instance,

in April, the average person in Seattle breathed in 10 hot particles a day."

Gundersen also said yesterday:

Quote
“So eventually though we are going to see top of the food chain animals like tuna and salmon and things like that that have this process bio accumulates. The bigger fish gradually get higher and higher concentrations.

And I am concerned that the FDA is not monitoring fish entering the United States because sooner or later a tuna is going to set off a radiation alarm at some part and people are going to think it’s a dirty bomb or something like that. So that’s not here yet because the tuna haven’t migrated across the Pacific.

But I am thinking by 2013 we might see contamination of the water and of the top of the food chain fishes on the West Coast.

Arnie Gundersen is a former nuclear power industry executive. He warns about the cataclysmic potential of the damaged Fukushima nuclear plant and is now warning about serious problems at the San Onofre nuclear plant in San Diego.

From our friend Alexander Higgins:

Quote
“Coincidentally, the Wikileaks document dump and Qur’an burning are taking center stage while the cover-up that killed over 18,000 unborn infants is not. So who can you trust in the media? Who can you trust in the ‘alternative’ media?

Considering the far reaching implications of ‘Plume-Gate’, the cover-up, the infant deaths and the election year we find ourselves in, can you trust a source unwilling to speak about this grave matter?

Is it possible the ‘alternative’ media has been co-opted, infiltrated and corrupted to a large degree? It is this author’s opinion that any media source not shouting about Plume-Gate as loud as they can are likely controlled by the powers-that-be.

Those sources are the most dangerous, the ones who gain your confidence by broadcasting the truth for years only to deceive you at the final moment when it will hurt you the most.

So who do you trust?

In the words of the famous philosopher J. Krishnamurti, maybe it’s time we should ‘think on these things’”

There is little doubt now that the radioactive plume had an effect on American citizens but keep in mind that people were not falling over dead in the street in numbers and the ‘plume’ is an invisible one so unless one had warning, there was virtually no way of detecting its presence.

According to a GlobalResearch.ca article based on research printed in the Journal of Health Services , Internist and Toxicologist Janette Sherman, MD insists we have paid a heavy toll from the fallout:

“Based on our continuing research, the actual death count here (USA) may be as high as 18,000, with influenza and pneumonia, which were up five-fold in the period in question as a cause of death.

Deaths are seen across all ages, but we continue to find that infants are hardest hit because their tissues are rapidly multiplying, they have undeveloped immune systems, and the doses of radioisotopes are proportionally greater than for adults.”

Not to haarp (sic) on the subject and say, “we told you so,” but, ... we did and have been offering a learning experience that will not only be educational, but fun - and through the magic of music, Earth Aid will capture enough people’s attention worldwide so that the balance of knowledge on this critical subject tips the scale in favor of NO NUKES.

The use of these advanced technologies now directly affects mankind's ability to control its own fate and the lethal consequences on our earthly and human ecosystems are perhaps irreversible. We are slowly but surely losing our extraordinary capacity to make life desirable.

Or, as another astute individual observed:

"As man attempts to become God-like,
we release potential forces that can,
and probably will, destroy us."

As the nuclear fallout
continues to spread worldwide,
our natural resilience -
our immune system -
will artificially decrease,
independently of our own will.

These advanced technologies continue to affect not only our physical bodies, but our minds as well.

We are ultimately hopeful for a viable solution sooner than later, but to hear "experts" claiming that nuclear radiation is not that serious, or that the environmental calamity at Fukushima Dai-ichi proves the continued need for nuclear power to prevent electricity shortages, is nothing short of disgraceful and more so, ultimately shamefully deceitful.

87% of people polled are worried about negative health impacts in North America.

No one has the right to allow any discussion of the grave dangers of radiation from Fukushima, which is of unprecedented urgency and gravity, to be influenced - let alone dominated - by those insane enough to poison the discussion with debating points, half-truths and distortions.

And yet, government and industry schemers attack these truths as unfounded scare-mongering. With cold indifference, they deny that Chernobyl was a mass casualty event. They turn a blind eye to a huge body of research and deviously proclaim that no evidence exists that more than a handful of people suffered harm from the Ukrainian disaster.

They publish propaganda, draped in the guise of science, that dismisses the hazard of low levels of internal contamination. Believing their subterfuge to have been successful and intoxicated by their hubris, they have already positioned themselves to stage-manage the public’s perception of Fukushima.

The truth
shall save the world,
let it be free.

FDA claims no need to test Pacific fish for radioactivity

North Pacific fish are so unlikely to be contaminated by radioactive material from the crippled nuclear plant in Japan that there’s no reason to test them, state and federal officials said this week.

Even with dangerous levels of radiation reported recently just off the coast from the Fukushima reactor complex, the ocean is so huge and Alaska fisheries so far away that there is no realistic threat, said FDA spokeswoman Siobhan DeLancey. The Food and Drug Administration has oversight of the nation’s food supplies.

As for U.S. fish, she said, "We have not been doing any testing.

We've been working with NOAA to keep an eye on U.S. waters, to see if there is any cause for alarm, and we do have the capability to begin testing if that does occur."

Asked to explain what kind of monitoring was taking place in the ocean, DeLancey said, "You would have to talk directly to NOAA ... I don't really want to speak for another agency."

But NOAA fisheries spokeswoman Kate Naughton declined to answer questions and referred a reporter back to FDA's DeLancey and the EPA.

But wait, it gets better.

ALERT: Fish near Fukushima at 4000% above Codex Alimentarius limit for radioactive I-131
— Yet US says eating it poses NO health risk

This is somewhat unbelievable ... you can't make this up folks, as no one would believe you.

Quote
U.S. public-health officials sought Tuesday to reassure consumers about the safety of food in the U.S., including seafood, amid news that fish contaminated with unusually high levels of radioactive materials had been caught in waters 50 miles from the stricken Fukushima nuclear plant in Japan.

May we bring your attention to the word, "stricken?"

Even though this is only 25 days into the event, the fix is clearly in.

Quote
No contaminated fish have turned up in the U.S., or in U.S. waters, according to experts from the Food and Drug Administration [which isn't testing], Environmental Protection Agency and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

They expressed confidence that even a single fish sufficiently contaminated to pose a risk to human health would be detected by the U.S. monitoring system.

Understandably, even we are at a loss for words.

The state’s food safety program manager, Ron Klein of the Department of Environmental Conservation, said the FDA and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration have demonstrated that Alaskans have no cause for worry.

“Based on the work they’re doing, no sampling or monitoring of our fish is necessary,” he said.

The news is coming from all directions, and it is not good.

Gov’t may have manipulated Fukushima radiation levels

Citizens and scientists have raised concerns that the science ministry manipulated its measurement of radiation levels in Fukushima Prefecture to show figures lower than they really were.

The Association for Citizens and Scientists Concerned About Internal Radiation Exposures measured radiation levels about 10 meters away from each of the posts.

The group’s readings at those locations averaged 40-50 percent higher than the figures reported by the ministry at the posts themselves.

Quote
“We are afraid that the ministry might have thoroughly decontaminated areas immediately adjacent to the monitoring posts or tinkered with numbers in an attempt to get lower readings,” Katsuma Yagasaki, professor emeritus of physics at the University of Ryukyus, told a news conference in Tokyo.

Meet the Fukushima 50? No, you can’t

And it’s not that others haven’t attempted to get the attention of enough concerned citizens to make a difference and wake up America...our friend, Deborah Dupre (one of the most sincere, eloquent writers in America and a class act) is a prime example.

Experts: Fukushima 'off-scale' lethal radiation level infers millions dying

Quote
Fukushima nuclear power plant radiation recordings of external gamma radiation have been so high this week, they went off scale said veteran nuclear expert Arnie Gunderson on Thursday after the famous physicist, Dr. Chris Busby told the Japanese people this week that radioactive air contamination there is now 300 times that of Chernobyl and 1000 times the atomic bomb peak in 1963, inferring that hundreds of millions of people are now dying from Fukushima radiation, including people in the United States.

If noticing unusual amounts of hair falling out, confusion, nose bleeds or other odd symptoms typical of radiation sickness, it might be due to the United States' record high levels of radiation, now multiple times acceptable safety limits not only on the West Coast, but also in other locations around the nation.

And Dupre nails it again with this:

Fukushima radiation depopulation unfathomable: Possibly 100s of millions deaths

Dr Janette Sherman, a highly respected physician and acknowledged expert in radiation exposure who has reported a north-east United States 35% baby death spike since Fukushima fall-out reached the nation, concurs with estimates that world wide, the Chernobyl Kill is one million people killed to date reported NOVA News.

Extrapolating, worldwide deaths by Fukushima radiation could eventually be hundreds of millions of people,

becoming
the most significant
depopulation event to date.

Fukushima shocking truths: Historical radiation dump, cover-up, the unborn

Nuclear energy refugees and unwitting consumers face overwhelming reality of Fukushima catastrophe impacting survivors and the unborn

Quote
On September 29, another strong quake hit Japan's Fukushima where workers refuse to work at its crippled nuclear power plant that is releasing more radioactive contamination into the ocean than ever seen, with highest cesium values not closest to Fukushima, amid what an "ultimate insider" told ABC News Australia is a "cover-up" of a catastrophe so intense, truth has been buried, even by the Prime Minister.

Thousands of Japan's nuclear energy refugees battle to face reality, especially women confronted with these new reports who worry about their children and their unborn.

Cesium-134 and 137 found in US food supply; Organic milk bought in San Francisco Bay Area

May we remind you of this?

Quote
Some people may say that there is no danger from radiation in fish from the ocean, and that all leaks have stopped from Fukushima.. How did the stopping of all leaks from Fukushima happen, when no one can even get close to these leaking nuclear reactors and spent fuel pools? Where are all of these 'leaks' going? Kevin explains a little bit more about this...

Some restaurants in the US and elsewhere are still importing food from Japan, including fish. As Kevin explains in this enlightening video, there are all kinds of radioactive substances leaking into the ocean from Fukushima, including plutonium, cesium, strontium, and many other things.

The leaks have not stopped.

In addition, when #3 exploded (the MOX reactor), fuel rods were thrown into the ocean 2 miles out.

Quote
These fuel rods are exposing all ocean water going past them, contaminating all of that water with huge amounts of radiation. Our prediction is that this is confirmed by studies that show the ocean water radiation levels are NOT dropping as they expected it would, when they stopped one large radioactive water leak via a power conduit, going directly to the ocean.

And yet, the entire nuclear Industry continues to assure we, the people, that ‘all is well’, and ‘not to worry’ about the escalating radioactive waste problem - which, to date, has no viable solution.

Quote
One ongoing concern in the nuclear power field is the safe disposal and isolation of spent fuel from reactors and waste from reprocessing plants.

Consumers have paid billions of dollars in levies on their electric bills over the years to fund a government program to dispose of the waste. Give or take a few million that may have fallen off the table, that fund should be in the neighborhood of $35 billion (a very nice neighborhood, IMHO).

The Department of Energy has had the responsibility for development of the waste disposal system for spent nuclear fuel and high-level radioactive nuclear waste since 1982 - and failed miserably in the effort - and has no answers to the questions vital to the survival of humanity on our beloved Mother Earth.

There currently exists no plan, no idea, no concept for long-term, geologic disposal of high-level radioactive waste in the United States of America. That means that the music has stopped and the waste is there - in your neighborhood - forever.

And then, there is the nuclear sacrifice of our children.

Fukushima Thyroid Examination Part 2

The Eighth Report of Fukushima Prefecture Health Management Survey was released on September 11, 2012. The thyroid examination section of the survey is shown in this link.
http://www.pref.fukushima.jp/imu/kenkoukanri/240911siryou2.pdf

Quote
It contains new thyroid examination results from the first five months of Fiscal Year Heisei 24 (FYH24), from April 1 through August 24, 2012.

The results revealed that 18,358 (43.12%) of 42,060 children, mostly from Fukushima-city, Fukushima, had thyroid ultrasound abnormalities.

Together with 38,114 children (13,645 or 35.8% had thyroid ultrasound abnormalities) tested in the last half of Fiscal Year Heisei 23 (FYH23) from October 2011 through March 2012, a total of 32,003 (40.0%) of 80,174 Fukushima children have been found to have ultrasound abnormalities.

*   MEDIA FAIL - FOX REMOVES STORY: Is Iodine-131 Killing Babies In Philadelphia? Fox has removed this video from their website.??

Alex Jones has also been quite vocal on his condemnation of the cover-up.

Here's his take:

The news you are about to read puts everything else in the category of "insignificant" by comparison.

Concerned about the 2012 U.S. presidential election? Worried about GMOs? Fluoride? Vaccines? Secret prisons?

None of that even matters if we don't solve the problem of Fukushima reactor No. 4, which is on the verge of a catastrophic failure that could unleash enough radiation to end human civilization on our planet.

The resulting releasing of radiation would turn North America into a "dead zone" for humans... mutated (and failed) crops, radioactive groundwater, skyrocketing infant mortality, an explosion in cancer and infertility... this is what could be unleashed at any moment from an earthquake in Japan.

Such an event could result in the release of 85 times the Cesium-137 released by the Chernobyl catastrophe, say experts. And the Chernobyl catastrophe made its surrounding regions uninhabitable by humans for centuries.??

Yet, astonishingly, the usual suspects of deception are saying absolutely nothing about this problem. The mainstream media (the dying dinosaur media, actually) pretends there's no problem with Fukushima. President Obama says nothing about it. Federal regulators, including the NRC, are all but silent.

It's as if they think their silence on the issue somehow makes it go away.

Bioaccumulation - FALLOUT is with you forever.

Perhaps these professional liars in the media and government have become so used to idea that they can simply spin their own reality

(and get the public suckers to believe almost anything)

that they now believe they can ignore the laws of physics. That's why they have refused to cover the radiation plume that continues to be emitted from Fukushima 24/7/365.

There is footage of the "spin" from the JAPGOV and the USGOV stating, "If you smile you will have no ill effect from the radiation" or that radiation can be good for you. This documentary pertains to every one but especially the people of the US and the Northern Hemisphere.

We were all exposed to large amounts fall out from this event but most people seem to have turned a blind eye to what has happened. But like the documentary says,

We have to find a way to monitor for ourselves.

Hope this helps.

NO it does not actually.

I've been feeding batteries intermittently (I am not very organised) into my cumative personal radiation meter, and it tells me that I have had 1.85 milli sieverts since february this year. The last 24 hours measurements have shown an upturn which if it continues will mean I get about 7 milli sieverts.

I believe maximum civilian dose is supposed to me 1 milli sievert per year.
I am told a german Power station worker is allowed 1.5 Milli sieverts.
Factoring in the unreliably of my battery regime, I reckon I am getting at least 4Milli Sieverts, based on my current average which is trending upwards.
They evacuated Chernobyl (I  think) for five Millisieverts.

What the f**k is knowing this any good for?

My family think I'm nuts for even having the thing, and well, having unusual interests, and being me.
Even if I could take an impromptu holiday to the southern hemisphere, my family would not accompany me.

And no-one else I tell seems in the remotest bit interested...

Yawn.

But I think all of you have made some excellent posts on this thread.
The only way we will ever get MOST of the nuclear facilitys shut down is if we stop using the electricity that the produce. That requires people to suddenly become as concerned as I am and drastically reduce personal power consumption, or a novel generation sytem to hit the market and "thrive".

I will admit, I am starting to hate the way things are on my planet to the extent, that when the huge alien spaceships that are due to arrive soon turn up, I think I'll be quite pleased to greet our new alien overlords.
(And if we need to fight them, at least it will be easy to tell who is the enemy. Most of the people trying to kill or rule us, look just like regular people mostly...)

Not to be a wet blanket or anything but this is anything but good for everyone on the planet.

The ingestion of food and air and other radiated stuff from pregnant mothers in the US even before they fall pregnant is going to be nothing but a nightmare unfolding.

Ofcourse tptw know all about what's going on they just tell us nothing cuz they dont want anyone to panic.  Panic  :o too late for that now, we're going to see the fruits of this in the very near future.

Now, I dont know whether this has been written anywhere on the Fukishima threads or not, I havent read them all.  But could this whole thing have been pre-planned.

I mean the elite controllers wouldnt get their hands dirty as we know, they probably live underground or somewhere where their food is not contaminated or the air but I have to wonder.
I know that I know nothing - thanks Capricorn.

Air and water, basic enough? In the air they are spraying aluminium, in the water they have floride. Aluminium Floride is a deadly poison. Maybe they do look like us and want us all dead.
