Yeah that is what I was thinking  They are certainly preping the stage for those two

But her conversion from Uber skeptic to beliver is a bit much :P It took scully several seasons :D

well ... :D she was put under the cosh, and by the end its no surprise that she was reeled via her administering  of a placebo induced drug trip which brought the capture of some terrorists through the translation of Urdu via her Mulder cloned partner

Scully was just way to programmed :D and then ironically reprogrammed at all levels :D

last one sounds like a really dark and nostril fouling fart of an episode though

Well the final episode was a dandy.  Little out there on how fast they came up with an antidote, but the rest was more what I had hoped for.

Got into how there is a dark conspiracy to make us sick, by using vaccines and chemtrails etc.

Don't want to say too much for those that have yet to see it.
The only people in the world, it seems, who believe in conspiracy theory, are those of us that have studied it.    Pat Shannon

well for a final it sure didn't look like one...I was waiting for the "to be continued' banner

any one wanna bet on the 'new' x-files..where muldar is saved but incapacitated in some way and the new pair take over
and scully.. well I think she left town via star ship..or maybe was just picked up by the bad guys
maybe to be seen in muldars dreams
besides the lizard guy and the joel McHale character.. I thought it stunk and didn't hold up the expectations most had..but I guess I expect to much...sigh..it's only the idiot box, after all  ::)

indeed it is , the truth is that anyone in Einstein's position, surrounding by frightened bewildered sick people , the not yet sick, who are equally frightened , seeing their future fates,.. well...

I doubt whether she going to have moments of un-interrupted cure cultivation ,especially being, the world's population is pulling up to the table.

like Cm said, no heroics possible.. and the mirror inflects into our reality and shows the same state

Spoiler alert :P If you haven't watched X Files yet here is a link

http://www.fox.com/watch/607308867569/7756658688

Well great...

Now that X Files have wrapped up evil cabal, chemtrails, vaccinations, anthrax, cell towers and alien DNA into one neat "End the World so the aliens can take over!!" package I can hang up my hat :P

Personally I think the episode sucked :P  When I saw the first one it looked like this might be good  but then it went downhill in my opinion...  not what I anticipated.

But one thing is sure  all the chemtrailers and anti vaccine crowd etc will pounce on this as a "See? I told you so!!!"  and then like the Flat Earther revolution on FB and Twitter, no one will listen to anything else.

One already did, before I eben saw the episode last night  Jim Lee from Climate Viewer...  Mentioned the chemtrail aspect right away in one of his chemtrail posts...

One more point  In Dan Burish's paper (with Michael Shratt)

“I have never met an alien, but I have met an extraterrestrial”….Dan Burisch, Sc. D. "The difference being that such an extraterrestrial such as a J-Rod is actually a future human, and therefore shares a similar human linage.A true alien on the other hand, would bear no such direct human lineage."

Now since Dan also brought to my attention Project Looking Glass (backward in time travelling light rays that allow you to see possible futures) he would have had a glimpse of the Alien future

A lot of others have said the Grays are our future

Seems X-Files have run with that, after wiping 80% of us out :P

good article..not going to copy it..it's long-ish

just copying a few words from the article as it was printed..i didn't add them

Expect the unexpected: in April 2015, in large part because of fan demand stoked by the show's new life on streaming platforms, it was announced that The X-Files would make a brief return in early 2016. When the episodes finally began airing this January, both critical and fan reaction were mixed, though the ratings soared to highs rarely seen these days in the streaming and binge-watching era. (At this point, more episodes in the future are a certainty.) Perhaps the biggest surprise of the six new instalments was how, for all the ways in which the show acknowledged that time had passed, it still remained quintessentially itself in terms of structure and approach. And as likely as ever to frustrate, intrigue and inspire because of that.

Just saw the last Episode of the New X Files series 10 ....

The series must have stared 2 to 3 weeks after the USA.

I was a bit disappointed...for some reason even with all the hype.

I had thought it was going to be 9 episodes. and its only 6. :(

I also thought that I read that the Lone Gunmen were going to return somehow...

and I did not recall to notice these images in the series...

Did I miss or forget them ?

I think we only got to see any UFOs or AVR Craft in the 1st episode. That was the initial Roswell Crash and later the ARVs in the Hanger.

The Lone Gunmen had a brief cameo in the final episode at the country bar when Mulder was tripping.  Blink and you missed it.

Like you said, a lot of hype...didn't really deliver.

Thanks for confirming that Dreb,

I must have blinked  :)

I will try to watch it again later in the week ..when it is replayed..

I think I do recall now seeing them maybe but did not click it was them.. I may have focused on just the one on the left and he has changed in his looks to what he was in the earlier series..that I didn't recognise him.. It happens to us all before we know it..one wonders where it all went to ...

The 1st episode was the best...the rest was just fill IMO.

We are so used to what was covered in the final episode, it was nothing much new in ref to the NWO side of it.

Maybe the Alien hybrid suggestion maybe another concept to consider.

The Old series just started again in the UK on normal TV.. and so far upon rewatching it... its good to see again...with maybe a different view on it...Some parts still seem quite entertaining and still has some thought provoking effects..
