Greed got in the way of Russia and America. It will get in the way for China also and then the entire program will shift west again. We all get a turn.

It already has started... saw a program on the new 'Communist Capitalism'  which allows Chinese to make as much money as they want so long as they stay out of PolyTicks

They were showing how Pawn Shops are springing up all over China and the Police are not really worried about stolen goods so much

They showed how these new wealthy 'Communist Capitalists' are buying property around the world especially in America. They own about 1/3 of the US now from buying foreclosures even bought the Chase Towers in New York When JP Morgan had to sell it to pay those billion dollar fines. They bought a huge piece of land in Vegas and are making a giant Chinese Casino Resort

GREED IS GOOD

It gets the job done :P

Russia built a straw house that fell
America built a wood house that is falling
China built a cement house that is standing in the long run for now.

3 stupid pigs can teach us lessons.

Deuem

I understand what you say deuem, however, I suggest it is a little different for the America. The house of America built was in every way with concrete and steel, on the basis of a very strong Constitution, totally by the people and for the people. It did and does provide the absolutes necessary to ensure such failures do not happen here. However, when the people will no longer take the necessary actions to maintain the course of the Republic, then the people have failed, not the founding.

People are recognizing the idiocity of the big government and the extreme failures of the present administration in every respect. The people do still have time to make the course corrections to get our government back to its original framework, but extreme physical measure will be required - one doesn't borrow money to reduce debt!!

Point of interest;

A Chinese group of investors, could NOT raise enough $$$$$,
to buy one of our lager group of Dairy farms in NZ.

Further investigations found the intended Chinese investors Corrupt !   :)

Someone had to go to Prison...   8)

And even if they could have come up with the $$$$$, public pressure would have stopped the deal anyway.

They missed out on the deal.   :)

You would think that after some thousands of years of Trade etc. on Earth the players
would have learnt something ?  ::)

It appears..... Apparently NOT !

Still....... I am the "Eternal Optimist"...   :)

When the US passes away, and a new system takes its place, maybe just maybe then we will learn ?

The US is the same as all other Economic based Systems (Business) just a different approach.

They all come to their own End !

None remain for ever !  Guess WHY ?

HOW many more thousands of years, will it take to learn such a simple Lesson ?

http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/constitution/item/17484-wall-street-journal-takes-notice-nullification-trend-is-spreading

Nullification of the Federal government is spreading.

I think Republicans are overconfident about elections.  There's a saying that 'anyone can win if there's no second entrant' and that can apply if voters don't observe solid offers of help from conservatives, regardless of whether the President is a muslim, socialist, gay, illegal alien who wants to shred the Constitution. This stuff just isn't working anymore.

As for borrowing money to pay debt, a Danish economist described it as 'peeing your pants to try to stay warm'.

I think it was Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain) that said, , ,

"If voting really worked, THEY wouldn't let us do it."

Another odd thought about China and possible sudden change:  the Chinese want a new reserve currency that may be a sort of currency basket or SDR sort of arrangement.

It seems to me that since they hold 1.3 trillion dollars - they could suddenly use that as collateral or a huge component of such a reserve currency.  The US would be powerless to stop it.

That basket theory would actually prop up the dollar.unless that basket was loaned out too.but if was just held in vaults then that should increase the value of the remaining dollars in the market.plus its a way of china showing their trust in its value.a win win.

Only ONE that is going to win or rule over anything and that is LIFE...

(NOT any Species !)

The human PRIMATE has still to realise this "Reality"...

If we don't (soon) ...  we might grow feathers and become another version of the.....  "(Evolution of the Species")

Natural selection I guess... but in this case involves decision making instead of involving procreation ...    ;)
