So buy a cow... and store it at a farm if you need to split the milk with the farmer :D

Zorgon, nice idea, but don't they have to be with calf to give milk? I guess I would need a mating pair.
 
it is not a far fetched idea, My parents in laws raise Pigs now, a Cow would fit right in. Moooooo

"Haluska" huh? Grandma use to make me the same basic thing but it was called "Buskau" (Buse-Cow) She was hard German with dialect to prove it. LOL But loved this as a child, very veggie oriented up bringing.
Also have had Kale as a meal, it is similar too spinach, but has diced potatoes, sliced/diced carrot's and onions. Really good topped with butter or 'Bueter' as granny use too say it..lol

the trick to powdered milk,if its real,is a pinch of salt and a dab of sugar.
get a pregnant goat.goats milk is just as good if not better.plus those things will live off anything.
i use to have chickens free range.i supplemented with dogfood  in winter.chickens become lazy if you spoil them,make them hussle.its good for the trees and grass also it cuts down on scorpions and grasshoppers.mine would set over a fire ant mound and eat them .they also almost wiped out my poison ivy.
ive never been much for rules.
being me has its priviledges.
