Nuclear Energy - A Cult of Destructive Energy?
« on: February 08, 2012, 07:35:24 pm »
Eric Dollard in an interesting interview, has this to say about Nuclear Scientists and Nuclear Energy:

Quote
The problem is that they are not scientists, they're not following the precept of science. They're mystics worshiping a nuclear type of destructive energy. My contention about nuclear power plants is that they're not there to generate energy, they serve as temples to worship this energy of decay and destruction and disease. The high laws are the laws of thermodynamics where everything must diffuse, decay and dissipate. It's quite obvious that they are pretty much worthless for generating electricity because, for one reason, they cost too much. They have to pump billions of dollars into them and they hardly produce enough electricity to justify their existence, let alone break even. So they serve no practical purpose even though they were purported in the late 1950s to be so-called 'free energy' devices. You look at the way things were in the 50s and you find it's basically a death worship.

This really rang a bell with me. I have been studying the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics, and how it was postulated with one major basic assumption that is totally flawed.

German scientist Rudolf Clausius is credited with the first formulation of the second law, now known as the Clausius statement:

Quote
No process is possible whose sole result is the transfer of heat from a body of lower temperature to a body of higher temperature.

Lord Kelvin expressed the second law in another form. The Kelvin statement expresses it as follows:

Quote
No process is possible in which the sole result is the absorption of heat from a reservoir and its complete conversion into work.

What these two scientists, Clausius and Kelvin, are both flawed in, is that they made the assumption, that: "All systems are closed systems"

A 'Closed System' is one whereby the system makes no exchange of energy with the environment! In contrast, an 'Open System' is one that has a dynamic exchange of energy with it's environment, and is the more realistic one
Therefore, these systems that they based their laws on, do not exist in reality, and never will, as all systems in existence are 'Open Systems".

I found it quite enlightening that Dollard saw Nuclear Reactors as the Temples for these archaic theories and the Nuclear Scientists as the 'High Priests' of a Death Cult', one where all systems decay and eventually die (Entropy).

It is hard to find efficiency figures for Nuclear Reactors but the general figure is about %33. Add to that the Billions of Tons of waste that are produced as a by-product and you can see that this view is correct.

What other Nation do we know that has this 'Cult of Death'?

Sit down before fact like a small child, and be prepared to give up every preconceived notion, follow humbly wherever and to whatever abyss nature lead, or you will learn nothing. —T. H. Huxley

Oh, but You never, ever, ever can break these LAWS!  Right?

Heh, "laws," My rump.  Thank You for this.  Indeed, it is all open (except for black projects, I suppose...).
