Mysterious places that humans should leave alone...
« on: August 12, 2017, 05:23:12 PM »
This will be a list of areas and places scattered about our blue marble that would probably be better served if left alone by us; please list all the places each are aware of, events that have happened, and reasons for blacklisting the area  8)

One place of record here in Georgia is located on the backside of Berry College outside Rome, a heavily wooded section located on the back of the college grounds surrounded by heavy forest;

the area is only accessible by one poorly maintained dirt and gravel road that dead ends into the fence surrounding the college property, know to the local area residents as 7 Bridges Road, and has a history of being an area frequented by satanists...

the mysterious aspect of this place is the road leading into it, for the tales of this place all state that on the way in, you cross seven small bridges over creeks and swamp areas; turn around immediately and drive back out, there are only 6  8)

Unfortunately, before I could go see this area Floyd County and Berry College closed the area and fenced it off to public travel...

Urban legend? Yeah, definitely  8) but too many people swear to have experienced this over the years, and most have sworn they would never set foot on that road again.

A certain cemetery south of Nowata, OK.  The old church in Mesita, CO.  The general vicinity of Mt. Ranier.  The spirit of the mountain allows tourism, but only the official tourism.  No Haring off on your own.  Olympic National Park, though I can't swear that the X-files had nothing to do with my goosebumps.   The Royal Hawaiian Hotel on Oahu.

Shasta, when things calm down for you and you are at peace, I hope you will list each of these and expound upon them.

Copper Queen Hotel - Bisbee, Arizona

Has a reputation for being haunted and proved it to me in 1997.

Never setting foot in that TOWN again.

I have just gotten goosebumps thinking about it.

ETA, also the area of Four Mile Historic Park in central Denver. UFO right over Exposition Avenue, adjacent to the stable.

I'll never go there again. These things are bad news.  :o

Like the Skinwalker Ranch, I am both fascinated and repelled. The book corroborated many of my experiences, but I'm not looking to repeat them.

I've been involved with so many weird things, I think it just doesn't bother me that much anymore.  4 Mile  is pretty cl close to where I live.  Buckley AFB, with its own brand of weirdness is in my backyard.   The black dogs in Mesita,  and the one outside Walsenburg creeper me out.

with no judgement .. just my observation

i believe we inhabit this rock with many others  .....
others that are not like us but fully belonging here as much as us,
and
that some of these happenings are a result of us winding up in their claimed spot..by accident or on purpose

lines of territory are drawn, we can't see them, then things occur
that's it
