"Multiple people" have been injured and killed in a shooting at a shopping centre in the German city of Munich.
A police spokeswoman says they believe more than one shooter was involved in the attack at the Olympia-Einkaufszentrum mall - and warned no one has been taken into custody yet.
There have been unconfirmed reports of more violence and possible gunfire in other parts of the city centre, and police have warned they are dealing with an "acute terror situation".
Investigators say witnesses have reported seeing three different people with long rifles in the shopping centre.
"We believe we are dealing with a shooting rampage," an official said.

German media reports suggest at least six people have been killed in the shopping centre attack.
The shootings began inside a McDonald's restaurant shortly before 6pm local time, the police spokeswoman said.
"There are still people in the shopping centre. We are trying to get the people out and take care of them," she added.
An employee who is still inside the mall told Reuters by phone that many shots were fired - and that they saw someone who was "so severely injured that he definitely didn't survive".
The entire transport network in Munich - including services on trains, trams and buses - has been suspended, and the city's main railway station evacuated.
There had been reports of a second shooting at the Stachus metro station in the city centre, about five miles away from the mall, but this has denied by the Munich fire department.
Munich Police are urging locals to stay in their homes as a "large police operation" continues.
The UK Foreign Office has also updated its travel advice on Germany, and is urging Britons to avoid the area and follow instructions from local authorities.
Footage from the scene appeared to show people running away to seek shelter, while another video shows dozens of emergency vehicles rushing past rush-hour traffic to get to the scene.
This is the second attack in Germany in less than a week.
On Monday, a 17-year-old Afghan wounded four people in an axe and knife attack on a train near the Bavarian city of Wuerzberg.
