• EARTH AID CONCERT
Greetings:

Whilst researching U.S. nuclear reactors, CME’s and the possible consequences of of a killshot, we noticed an interesting “trend” in worldwide weather, which, taken separately, one-by-one, may seem somewhat insignificant, but when lumped together, a suffering Mother Earth perhaps reveals herself in divergent weather configurations.

We postulate it's all tied together, however, we'll HAARP on that at another time.

We herewith share some recent 'cries for help' with you, Dear Reader, and invite your comments and participation.

Counter-clockwise storm in the Mediterranean seen from space

Possible formation of new tropical cyclone near Madagascar

According to latest alert warning from Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC) the formation of a significant tropical cyclone is possible within 200 nm either side of a line from 13.7 S – 53.3 E to 14.9 S – 44.0 E within the next 12 to 24 hours.

Latest forecast track (Source: La Reunion Tropical Cyclone Center/Meteo-France)

Don’t recall seeing this at all on MSM, do you?

At least 31 people were killed and 250,000 left homeless after Tropical Cyclone Giovanna ripped across Madagascar last week, the disaster management agency said in their report. But the agency warned the toll could still rise.

Of the 686 communities affected by the storm, contact had been restored with only 169.

So far, nearly 250,000 were left homeless after rains and powerful winds swept across the country. 8 clinics and 24 primary schools were destroyed. Another 424 schools and 39 health centres were flooded or damaged.

Bridges, roads and electrical installations were also damaged, and emergency workers were delivering clean water to hard-hit communities.

The disaster agency said Giovanna was as powerful as Tropical Cyclone Geralda, which killed 230 people in 1994. In February 2011, Cyclone Bingiza destroyed Madagascar and killed at least 34 people.

Multiple dust plumes in Sudan

The Nile River snakes its way northward through Sudan, taking a big loop to the east before curving back to the west. The river remains discernible throughout its eastern loop in the morning, but by the afternoon, dust has obscured much of that area. Dust over the Red Sea also increases in the afternoon, although skies in the west appear somewhat clearer.  EarthObservatory

Dust storm over the Arabian Sea

The Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on NASA’s Aqua satellite acquired this natural-color image on February 22, 2012.

Dust plumes stretched southward over the Arabian Sea in late February 2012. The thickest plume arises just west of the Iran-Pakistan border. Thinner plumes blow southward along the entire coast of Pakistan.

Sandy deserts cover much of southern Pakistan and Iran, and the sand seas of that region often give rise to dust storms. Sandy deserts also cover large parts of Oman, although little of the dust in this image arises from that country.   EarthObservatory

Saharan dust over the Atlantic Ocean

A strong Harmattan wind carried clouds of dust thousands of kilometers across West Africa and the Northern Atlantic Ocean in early February 2012. Blowing south from the Sahara desert, the dry and dusty seasonal trade wind deposited thick layers of dust on sidewalks and shop windows, and caused the grounding more than a dozen flights by February 8, 2012.

In this image below, white clouds float above the yellow-brown cloud of Saharan dust. In the northeast section of the image, the dust interacts with the Cape Verde Islands, which are located about 570 kilometers off the coast of West Africa.

The flow of wind become disrupted as it hits the mountainous peaks, and becomes turbulent as it passes the islands. This turbulent wind flow is etched in the clouds on the leeward side of the islands, as well as in the tan airborne dust.

Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) aboard NASA’s Terra satellite captured this true color image on February 8, 2012 (Credit: Jeff Schmaltz/MODIS Land Rapid Response Team/NASA GSFC)

The Harmattan is a strong trade wind which arises in Sahara Desert and blows south across West Africa in the winter months (November to March). Heavy dust storms are common in the region during this time, and residents must adapt to the disruptions that come with heavy dust and sand.

This storm, which began on February 6, has the distinction of being the worst sandstorm in this area in two years. (MODIS)

Big ocean fish in peril – decrease in fish population

Over-exploitation of the world’s fish resources has caused serious decline in fish populations, and there is widespread concern that the world oceans will be unable to supply fish products for future generations.

Given the importance of marine fisheries for food security throughout the world, this poses a serious threat for coming generations, and we must ask if there will be sufficient seafood for our children and grandchildren...

When it comes to the oceans, research shows a parallel to the Permian-Triassic extinction — also known as the Great Dying — which eradicated 95 percent of marine species when the oceans lost their oxygen about 250 million years ago. The same phenomenon is taking place in many areas of today’s oceans. The entry of fertilizers into rivers and subsequently oceans is eating up the oceans’ oxygen.

Around the world, the number of dead zones, some of which are naturally occurring, increased from 149 in 2003 to more than 200 in 2006, according to a 2008 report by the United Nations Environmental Program.

Shallow moderate 4.8 magnitude earthquake hit French Southern Alps

Shortly before midnight a moderate but very shallow magnitude 4.8 earthquake struck the French Southern Alps.  The earthquake was felt from the Alps ski areas down to the French Mediterranean coast.

According to EMSC magnitude 4.8 earthquake struck 5 km (3.1 miles) east from Crévoux, 41 km (25.5 miles) south of Briançon and 100 km (62.1 miles) southwest of Turin with epicenter at depth of 2km (1.2 miles).

Epicenter was located 92 km (57 miles) southwest of Torino, Italy, 102 km (63 miles) southeast of Grenoble, France, 107 km (66 miles) northwest of Nice, France and 582 km (361 miles) southeast of Paris, France.

CME targets Earth and Mars – auroras and minor geomagnetic storming possible

The CME cloud launched from the Sun on February 24th should reach Earth today, Feb. 26th around 13:30 UTC, according to analysts at the Goddard Space Weather Lab.

A filament of magnetism erupted at the sun’s northeastern limb  on February 24th and hurled CME into space toward Earth. Main part of the cloud headed north but lower edge of CME cloud will dip down low enough to brush Earth and Mars.

6.8 magnitude earthquake hit southwestern Siberia, Russia

A strong and shallow magnitude 6.8 earthquake struck the region of southwestern Siberia in Russia on February 26 at 06:17:19 UTC (13:17:19 by local time) according to EMSC.

Epicenter was located 114 km east of Kyzyl, 91 km east of Kaa-khem and 41 km northeast from Saryg-sep with population of 4,582 people (51.75 N ; 96.04 E) at depth of 10 km. The nearest populated places are: Karaus (9km), Kara Khem (13km).

The closest civilian airport is Kyzyl (100km). USGS recorded 6.7 magnitude with depth of  11.7 km (7.3 miles). Russian local seismic agencies reported magnitude 6.6. GEOFON reported 6.5 magnitude at depth of 10 km.

Dust storm in Utah

Dust and clouds mingled over Utah in late February 2012. The Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on NASA’s Terra satellite captured this natural-color image of a dust storm on February 23.

The dust arises from the Great Salt Lake Desert, with sediments that can provide ample material for dust storms. Cloudbanks surround the dust, especially in the south and east. The clouds might result from the same weather pattern that brought dust-stirring high winds.

Dust storm over Texas

In late February 2012, a dust storm in the Texas Panhandle dropped visibility to near-zero, and caused numerous accidents and two deaths, according to news station WJLA. The dust swept from eastern New Mexico through Texas, forming a giant arc north of Lubbock.

And then we have the alignment, which some say is sure to cause earthquakes here on Terra Firma.

Triple conjunction – Jupiter, Venus and Moon line up this weekend

Jupiter,Venus and Moon will be seen in close proximity to each other on the nights of Saturday and Sunday (Feb. 25 and 26), forming an astronomical event and skywatching treat known as a triple conjunction.

A triple conjunction is an astronomical event, where two planets or a planet and a star meet each other three times in a short period either in opposition or at the time of inferior conjunction, if an inferior planet is involved. The visible movement of the planet or the planets in the sky is therefore normally prograde at the first conjunction, retrograde at the second conjunction and again prograde at the third conjunction.

The Moon will pass Venus and  Jupiter on Saturday and Sunday this week (Feb. 25 and 26, 2012). The Moon appears close to Venus on Saturday night, and then near Jupiter on Sunday night. The view on either night will be what astronomers call a triple conjunction.

This is what is puzzling, to say the least. This phenomenon apparently began about 10 days ago.

Unusual number of vortices formed around the globe

During our daily MODIS satellite imagery check up we noticed unusual number of newly formed vortices around the globe. Maybe the most significant is one called Tropical cyclone Giovanna which is located in Mozambique Channel and now is battering Madagascar’s southeast coast.

Tropical cyclone Giovanna is coming back to Madagascar's land again (Source: MODIS/Aqua)

While observing satellite images from Terra and Aura satellites at MODIS we noticed a few more vortex systems. Two or more vortices are forming right now of the shores of Antarctic and one below Kamchatka peninsula.

Newly-formed vortex near Antarctic coast (Source: MODIS/Terra)

This vortex system is located beneath current cyclone system TC Giovanna. It could be possible that this system affected the sharp turn of Giovanna path which was forecasted to impact coast of Mozambique but it has suddenly changed its course and is now coming back to batter Madagascar again.

Very strong and shallow 6.5 magnitude earthquake struck Michoacan, Mexico

Magnitude 6.5 earthquake struck Michoacan, Mexico on April 11, 2012 at 22:55:10 UTC according to USGS. The epicenter was located 143 km (88 miles) NW of Zihuatanejo, Guerrero, Mexico (18.272°N, 102.732°W). The depth of epicenter was at 20 km (12.4 miles).

There was no tsunami danger as the earthquake occurred below land.

So far no reports of damage or injuries. As the epicenter is located in a wilderness area with only a limited number of roads but with a limited agrarian community, we expect reports to ripple in after many hours.

This earthquake is of a completely different type than the massive March 20 earthquake. Also the epicenter area is in a different part of the country.

Indonesia massive M8.6 earthquake the largest non-damaging earthquake ever measured?

A massive earthquake struck off the coast of the Indonesian island of Sumatra Wednesday afternoon, triggering a tsunami watch for the Indian Ocean, which was later canceled.

The 8.6 quake struck about 435 km (270 miles) southwest (215°) of Banda Aceh, the capital of Indonesia’s Aceh province (2.311°N, 93.063°E), the U.S. Geological Survey said. It took place at a depth of 23 kilometers (14 miles).

A second large quake, with a magnitude of 8.2, occurred 618 km (384 miles) of off the west coast of Banda Aceh (0.773°N, 92.452°E) about two hours later, at depth of 16.4 km (10.2 miles) according to the USGS.

There were some reports of damage in northern Sumatra. So far there are no reports of seriously injured or killed people. The first 8.6-magnitude quake off Aceh province spawned a wave around 80cm high but caused no serious damage.

Video of MSM coverage of the quakes.

The epicenter of the earthquake is located about 100 km to the west of the subduction fault line in the Oceanic part of the Indian plate and not in the direct subduction zone of the plates. The subduction zone is far more dangerous than stress in the oceanic plate itself. The actual greater area is the intersection in between the Indian Plate, the Australian plate and the SE Asian plate. (Image courtesy of Kerry Sieh, Tectonics Observatory, California Institute of Technology)

An average of 17 large earthquakes (magnitude 7 or greater) happens every year around the world since 1900, and about 15 a year since 1990.

So why was this earthquake the largest non-damaging earthquake ever measured?

a) It occurred 400km+ offshore, thus the earthquake shaking only achieved a maximum intensity of around 5.5-6 in the closest points to land, causing no discernible damage.

b) The earthquake, unlike other major M8+ earthquakes, was a strike-slip earthquake, where plates slide past one another, and not upwards or downwards. Therefore, there was not much offset on either side of the fault and thus the water volume was not significantly displaced and therefore caused NO MAJOR TSUNAMI (highest was at Meulaboh with 1.05m)

c)13 other earthquakes over Mw8 since 1900 have caused no damage, however, the Mw8.6 was the highest by Mw0.4 (around 3 times the ground motion and 7 times more energy than ever before to cause no damage!!!!)

Nothing to see here. Move along. Go back to your homes ...

The Mw8.2 earthquake which occurred a couple of hours later was the 3rd largest earthquake recorded to cause no damage. Earthquake Report

Indonesia is on the so-called Ring of Fire, an arc of fault lines circling the Pacific Basin that is prone to frequent earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. The earthquake Wednesday comes just over year after a magnitude 9 quake off the northeast coast of Japan caused a devastating tsunami.

Two massive earthquakes M8+ and many strong aftershocks out of the Sumatra coast, Indonesia

An 8.8 magnitude earthquake occurred 500 km out of the coast of Sumatra, another area which was also very hard hit in 2004 is India’s Andaman Islands. The second massive quake has been decreased to 8.2 by USGS and it has to be seen as a massive aftershock.

Many (powerful) aftershocks have occurred since the main shock. Residents in Banda Aceh reported the ground shaking violently. A tsunami warning has been issued as Indonesia’s geophysical agency has registered an 8.9 magnitude earthquake in the Aceh region, off the western coast of northern Sumatra.

The tremor was felt in Singapore, Thailand, Bangladesh, Malaysia and India. High-rise apartments and offices on Malaysia’s west coast shook for at least a minute.

Thailand’s National Disaster Warning Center issued an evacuation order to residents in six provinces along the country’s west coast, including the popular tourist destinations of Phuket, Krabi and Phang-Nga.

The first 8.6-magnitude quake off Aceh province, hours earlier, spawned a wave around 80cm high but caused no serious damage.

Tsunami watch alert has been issued for: Indonesia, India, Sri Lanka, Australia, Myanmar, Thailand, Maldives, United Kingdom, Malaysia, Mauritius, Reunion, Seychelles, Pakistan, Somalia, Oman, Madagascar, Iran, Uae, Yemen, Comores, Bangladesh, Tanzania, Mozambique, Kenya, Crozet Islands, Kerguelen Islands, South Africa, Singapore. India’s tsunami warning center said waves measuring up to 6 meters were expected along parts of its eastern coast.

Two strong and shallow earthquakes with magnitudes 6.2 and 6.9 struck Gulf of California

Two strong and shallow earthquakes struck Gulf of California on April 12, 2012. First earthquake was measured with magnitude 6.2 at 07:06:01 UTC with depth of 10.1km. A second earthquake struck same area less than 10 minutes later, at 07:15:49 UTC, recorded magnitude was 6.9 with depth at 10.3km.

NO tsunami warning, watch or advisory is in effect for these areas.

The set of earthquakes in the Gulf of California have started with a M4.7 earthquake, followed 18 minutes later by a M6.2 earthquake and another 9 minutes later with a M6.9 earthquake (the most powerful so far)

Shallow 6.2 magnitude earthquake in Drake Passage between Argentina and Antarctica

Shallow earthquake with recorded magnitude of 6.2 occurred at Drake Passage between Argentina and Antarctica on Saturday, April 14 , 2012 (10:56 UTC). Epicenter was 358 km (222 miles) SSE of Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina (57.588°S, 65.413°W). Recorded depth by USGS was at 9.9 km (6.2 miles).

No tsunami warning was issued.

EMSC is reporting 5.9 magnitude at depth of 30 km.

Earthquake-report.com said: 2 earthquakes with (preliminary) magnitudes of 6.1 and 6.6 just happened in the Drake passage. Preliminary distance to Ushuaia: 356 km. ER calls this earthquake NOT dangerous and the earthquake is to weak to have a tsunami potential.

The 2 earthquakes occurred with an interval of 20 seconds. Update 11:15 UTC: Both earthquakes (17 seconds interval) have been recalculated as M6.1 quakes.

Strong and shallow earthquake magnitude 6.0 near the east coast of Honshu

Long and shallow earthquake magnitude 6.0 struck near the east coast of Honshu on April 13, 2012 at 10:10:02 UTC according to USGS. JMA is reporting magnitude 5.9. In either case this is strong earthquake only 42 km (26 miles) off the Fukushima nuclear power plant, and 86 km (53 miles) off the Tokai nuclear plant.

Epicenter was located 39 km (24 miles) E of Iwaki, Honshu, Japan (36.998°N, 141.325°E). Recorded depth was 13.6 km (8.5 miles) by USGS. JMA recorded depth of 20km (12.4 miles).

Oops!

This is not weather, but still fits in with our destroying Mother Earth theme. Whatever happened to those underwater plumes, those 'rivers of oil?'

Huge sheen of oil spotted in the Gulf of Mexico

Royal Dutch Shell says a sheen of oil, 10 square miles in size (26 square kilometers), has been spotted in the Gulf of Mexico on late Wednesday, April 11, 2012 and was reported to National Response Center.

The sheen is one mile wide and ten miles long and is located in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico, between its Mars and Ursa drilling platforms. The platforms are both located 130 miles (209 km) southeast of New Orleans.

Shell said there is “no current indication that the sheen originates from wells in either the Mars or Ursa projects,” and that they have activated the Louisiana Responder, an oil spill response vessel that has skimming and boom capabilities.

Volcano Update!

Costa Rica’s Turrialbla volcano unleashed new wave of eruptions

Authorities said the Turrialbla volcano had a new wave of eruptions on Thursday, April 12, 2012. Scientists are converging on the mountain for a closer look at the smoke spewing from its center.

The Red Sismológica Nacional (RSN) and the Observatorio Vulcanologio y Sismologico de Costa Rica (OVISCORI), said Turrialbla’s activity does not present any significant risk, but they will continue to closely monitor the volcano.

Area residents reported of hearing a rumble as well as the sighting of dark colored smoke, generated by gas fumes from the volcano.

Main crater of the Turrialba. Image: www.summitpost.org

Turrialbla became a concern last January among local residents and experts after the emanation of white gas fumes. A number of experts from the RSN are headed to the top of the volcano while the OVISCORI has kept the national park under a green alert.

The volcano (10°2?0?N 83°46?0?W) is 3,340 m (10,958 ft) high and is about 45 minutes from the Atlantic slope town of Turrialba. The summit has three craters, one of which has fumaroles and sulfur pits. Visitors used to be able to hike down into the main crater, but increased gaseous activity has caused the time at the summit to be limited to no more than fifteen minutes.

Turrialba Volcano, September, 2005

During the 19th century, it explosively erupted several times (1847, 1853, 1855, 1861, 1864–1865, 1866), producing pyroclastic flows.

The last major eruption was in 1866, but in January 2001, the volcano reported increased activity, displaying strong fumaroles at the central craters. The volcanic activities have increased since 2005. In January 2010, the volcano emitted ash, and two villages, La Central and El Retiro, were evacuated.

Last week I dreamed of a volcano erupting in New Mexico.  It spread thick layers of ash up through Colorado and Wyoming, to the extent of the ash looking like snowdrifts in places.  Hospitals were being overwhelmed with respiratory distress cases.  The only volcano I can think of in New Mexico, is Capulin Mountain.  It's cosidered extinct.  So are Huerfano Peak in southern Colorado and Elk Mountain in southern Wyoming.  It isn't that far, geologically from those three to Yellowstone to the Cascades which is an active range.  At what point will Mt. Ranier just go ahead and take out Seattle?

The South Pacific, Nazca (South American) plate and the North American tectonic plates are moving in relation to each other. As one side dips  the other feels extended pressure and experiences pressure relief jumps.  Something much deeper down towards the core, is happening.  The "floatation factor" of the liquid core is changing as H3 bubbles rise from the slow reactor down there. This directly impacts our landmasses. We exist on a large hot "waterbed" made of liquid rock. The cool "skin" we walk on is just a small freaction of the total planets diameter.

All symptoms of the Earth's Thermal Cycle/s I guess.

Greetings:

Aha!

All and you guess?

Another 'scientist' inferring 'nothing to see here?'

How come you didn't include the word 'normal,' as in 'All symptoms of the normal Earth Thermal Cycles?'

Do you use the Fukushima Slide Rule?

(Just joking, my friend.)

We believe this may interest you also.

Here’s a great title for the lead-in of today’s discussion.

Depending on who you hear ‘defending the truth’ (“science” as they see it), even though there have been two 8+ earthquakes in the last week (8.2 and 8.6) off the west coast of northern Sumatra, some say “nothing unusual, look at the last 10,000 years to make any kind of correlation.”

Quote
"If you keep seismically shaking the Earth, like a bottle of soda, its structural integrity eventually will become compromised and it will start to fracture like an egg.

In this case, the fracturing will be thermal dissipation by hyper-volcanism, mega-thrust earthquakes, and greater tectonic boundary plate agitation around volcanic arcs and subduction zones…if this is what’s indeed happening, the pressure will continue to build in the interior of the planet until it eventually destabilizes all tectonic plates in a spectral pattern of continous seismic oscillation.

Every earthquake generates and emits enough kinetic energy through the earth to potentially trigger more seismic disturbances.”

Did someone mention Tesla? HAARP? So many ways to take this...

Did N. Sumatra earthquakes set off a chain-reaction? Planet shaken by shocking number of tremors since April 11, 2012

April 17, 2012 - The shocking number of earthquakes that have rattled the globe, especially along tectonic plate boundaries, since the double 8.0+ magnitude earthquakes struck off the coast of Northern Sumatra on April 11 could be early indication the planet may be shifting towards a new catastrophic model.

Romania’ s top seismologist, Gheorghe Marmureanu, told the Bucharest Herald: “There is no doubt something is seriously wrong. There have been too many strong earthquakes.”

I said in my book: “If you keep seismically shaking the Earth, like a bottle of soda, its structural integrity eventually will become compromised and it will start to fracture like an egg.

Every earthquake generates and emits enough kinetic energy through the earth to potentially trigger more seismic disturbances.” -The Extinction Protocol, page 495

7.0-magnitude quake rattles Papua New Guinea | The Jakarta Post

April 17, 2012 Associated Press - 3:49 PM

A strong earthquake has struck the South Pacific island nation of Papua New Guinea. There are no immediate reports of damage or injuries and no tsunami alert has been issued.

The U.S. Geological Survey says the magnitude-7.0 quake struck Tuesday at a depth of 200 kilometers (124 miles), about 140 kilometers (88 miles) north of the city of Lae.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center did not issue a tsunami alert.

Papua New Guinea's Geophysical Observatory says the quake was felt as far as the capital Port Moresby, but there were no reports of damage.

49th volcano erupts in 2012: Ecuador’s Sangay volcano unleashes 2 km ash cloud

April 17, 2012 – ECUADOR - During an over-flight on 13 April, an explosion from Sangay volcano was observed at 08:25 local time.

It generated an ash and steam column of 2 km above the summit crater. A new vent was detected; both on visible and thermal images, located next to the active dome on the SE flank (Ñuñurqu).

View of the upper SE flank of Sangay volcano and thermal image showing the various vents at the dome emitting lava flows that form several branches and reach the base of the summit cone (Photo: P. Ramón OVT/IG)

The activity in this area has intensified since October, when the last aerial survey had taken place. Extensive lava flows are descending on the SE flank of the dome and reaching the base of the cone.
Strong fumarolic activity was seen on the SE flank of the dome and on the S flank of the central crater. Volcano Discovery

Russia’s Shiveluch volcano spews ash up to 9,500 meters (31,000 ft) – its most powerful eruption this year

April 17, 2012 –RUSSIA –  Russia’s northernmost active volcano is churning out ash to a height of 9,500 meters (over 31,000 feet) in the country’s Far East, local scientists reported on Tuesday.

The 3,283-meter (10,771-foot) Shiveluch volcano increased activity in May 2009 and has been periodically spewing ash from three to ten kilometers. “A powerful eruption of ashes took place 05.59 a.m. local time [17:59 GMT on Monday], a source at the Far Eastern Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said. The official said the column of ashes could be clearly seen from a distance of 40 kilometers spreading to the east.

It is the most powerful eruption this year,” the expert said.

6.7 magnitude earthquake strikes Valparaiso, Chile

CORRECTED-Strong quake shakes Chile capital - Reuters witness

(Reuters) - A powerful earthquake struck the Chilean capital Santiago on Tuesday, a Reuters witness said.

The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake measured 6.6 in magnitude and was located 30 miles north-northeast of Valparaiso at a depth of 41.9 miles.

April 17, 2012 – CHILE - A 6.7-magnitude earthquake struck 30 miles (48 kilometers) from the port city of Valparaiso in Chile on Tuesday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

No tsunami warning has been issued.

The earthquake had a depth of 16.1 miles, the USGS said. The temblor was felt in the capital city, Santiago.

The U.S. Geological Survey initially put the quake’s magnitude at 6.5 but later raised it to 6.7. Its epicenter was 26 miles (42 kilometers) northeast of Valparaiso, and it had a depth of 23 miles (37 kilometers). It struck just minutes before midnight local time Monday (3:50 Tuesday GMT).

The Chilean navy’s hydrographic and oceanographic service discounted the possibility of a tsunami, but authorities maintained an order for people to move to higher ground along a roughly 500-mile (roughly 780 kms) stretch of coastline running from the city of Constitucion to Tongoy, north of the capital.

Mexico raises alert for Popocatepetl volcano

The Popocatepetl volcano spews a cloud of ash and steam high into the air as seen from Puebla, 100 km (62 miles) east of Mexico City April 14, 2012  Credit: Reuters/Imelda Medina

April 17, 2012 - MEXICO CITY - 12:52am EDT

(Reuters) - Mexican authorities raised the alert level for the Popocatepetl volcano near to Mexico City on Monday after it started spewing red-hot fragments of rock.

The lava dome of Popocatepetl, some 50 miles to the southeast of the capital, started to expand on Friday, Mexico's National Center for Disaster Prevention said.

This change in activity in the 5,450 meter (17,900 foot) volcano could provoke big explosions capable of sending incandescent fragments out over considerable distances, as well as ash showers, the center said in a statement.

The center raised the alert level to yellow phase three from yellow phase two, indicating possible magma expulsion and explosions of increasing intensity. It is the third-highest warning on the center's seven-step scale.

Emergency services should ready evacuation teams and shelters, limit access to the area around the volcano and alert air-traffic control systems, the center said in its statement.

Experts have noted increased activity in Popocateptl in 2012. It has spewed smoke and ash sporadically over the last few years and a major eruption in 2000 forced the evacuation of nearly 50,000 residents in three states surrounding the peak.

Which brings us to this, Dear Reader.

Not too often do we get to drop the names Zen Gardner and Dutchsince in the same sentence. Since this presentation by Brother Zen fits so nicely with our OP, we’ll run it in its entirety with due credit.

Next Megaquake Looking for a Weak Spot?

Following the quakes around the ring of fire you start to see patterns, thanks to people like Dutchsinse who diligently follow earth changes and weather phenomena and make a real effort to educate as well as serve as the warning system the mainstream generally fails to be due to their collusion with the PTBs.

He’s noticed at least two important patterns. When one side of the ring of fire is very active and the other is not, there will usually be mirrored activity soon in those dormant areas to balance the pressure release.

The other is the telltale sign before very large quakes of a consistent and notable build up of good sized tectonic activity. He predicted the big Japan quake based on just such a large swarm and keeps an eye out for it.

On top of this, we are presently in a conjunction of planetary and lunar influences that often accompany large earthquakes, as these gravitational and otherwise influences tug on our excited earth’s rotating core.

Central America and Puerto Rico Lighting Up

This current Central American activity is just such a phenomenon to keep an eye on. This is just the kind of flurry that happens before very large quakes.

The Central American quakes are all sizeable and the Puerto Rico quake swarm is even more than the usual already high activity. Note the fault line connecting Puerto Rico to the Central American coastal fault, which then goes south but is mostly obscured by the many frequent quakes.

The region it crosses through southern Mexico is “reawakening” as noted below and could set off any of these large systems around it, especially Puerto Rico or the entire California fault line that is also experiencing increased activity.

I don’t like the looks of it. People should beware and prepare.

There has also been a massive dolphin die-off of in Peru recently so this whole lower level of the eastern ring of fire should be watched. Although from the sounds of the injuries it could be that nasty naval black-op sonar or something HAARP related.

Seems they’ve targeted earth’s biosphere for some Satanic reason. And their operations are intertwined with natural phenomena no doubt for camouflage.

Clever bastards. But wrong and soon to come to an end.

Russian Prediction

I ran into this information as I was editing and filling in illustrations. It just amazes me how that increasingly happens, as I’m sure many of you are experiencing.

Synchronicity rules.

Turns out that following the big Chiapas quake in Mexico in January, prior to the recent whopper recently there in March, Russian scientists apparently made the following announcement:

Megaquake Warning Issued For US-Mexican Pacific Coast

A disturbing report prepared by the Schmidt Institute of Physics of the Earth (IPE) in Moscow that is circulating in the Kremlin today warns that the 6.2 magnitude earthquake that struck the Chiapas region of Mexico yesterday is a ‘potential precursor’ to a ‘megaquake’ of at least 7.5-8.3 expected to hit the US-Mexican Pacific coastline within the next fortnight (+/- 7 days).

According to this IPE report, concerns were raised about this region after a 4.1 magnitude earthquake hit the Mexican Baja California peninsula on 18 January and emitted in the “4.433–4.498 micrometre range” “extreme” atmospheric temperature variations normally not associated with such a quake and that was verified yesterday as occurring again in Chiapas.

Important to note about this region, this IPE report says, fears were heightened after a 7.2 magnitude earthquake that hit on 4 April 2010 and was the first big earthquake to occur on this particular fault system since 1892, links Mexico’s seismic zone to California’s massive fault system, and points to a “reawakening” of this areas potential for catastrophic seismic/volcanic occurrences. [Emphasis mine] (source)

That was on January 21 of this year. The 7.4 near Acapulco occured on March 20th. So either this was a fulfillment of that warning, or possibly a precursor to an even bigger event.

The Little Known Puerto Rico Trench

I wrote about this amazing huge Puerto Rico Trench a couple of times. It was startling to find out just how massive and deep this fault line trench is. The consequences of a substantial subterranean landslide and resultant tsunami on the entire heavily populated low-lying island region of the Caribbean is almost unfathomable. And there’s hardly any talk about that lurking danger.

Of course not.

In case you haven’t noticed, the “authorities” don’t seem to want us to be aware of how tentative things are and the imminent dangers we face.

Whether it’s earthquake activity, radiation releases, or geoengineering insanity wrecking the planet, we’re supposed to just trudge along with our heads down and not notice.

We May Not Know When, But People Should Be Prepared

I recently watched a moving and very insightful movie called Tsunami – Caught On Camera that is really worth viewing. It shows the psychology of human reactions to disaster. It’s a gripping and heart rending tale of several families and individuals who endured the catastrophic effects of the 2004 tsunami in several heavily hit locations.

The human spirit is so beautiful, through triumph and tragedy.

What baffled me was how even locals in some of these locations didn’t realize that when the sea retreats way out, leaving boats stranded and fish flapping on the sand and rocks, something big is coming and you should head for the hills. In some cases people were sleeping or there was very little warning.

But I found this disturbing that people didn’t know this clear sign of a tsunami approaching.

I guess I’ve always been into earth changes. Volcanoes have always fascinated me, and I also remember being heavily impressed with the pictures of the Alaskan quake in 1964 (above) which so wowed me with the power of nature. And those old pictures showed people on the beach one second, and gone the next.

But people in 2004 were completely caught unawares. When the tide went out many gathered at the beach to see what the fuss was all about. When It started coming in and rising so quickly some thought it was cool and still had no idea. Not everybody missed the warning and did try to warn others, but in general there was a real lack of awareness.

Are people really so ignorant of the world around them in this day and age?

After this event I think the world learned a lot, perhaps.

The Fukushima tsunami was a strange phenomenon that gave no warnings except the preceding quake, which was semi-routine tor them. Even the quake damage in Fukushima was hard to spot so they just kept about their ways until the ocean just rose and swallowed them up.

Very strange when the Japanese are very alert about this phenomenon and the potential effects from quakes.

The Psycho-Scientific Factor

Lucky us, in addition to all these energetic earth changes hitting our planet, we get to live in a time of exponentially exploding “scientific” advancement, almost all of it being weaponized by our current psychopathic “powers that be”.

“Oh, happy day, we have a military industrial matrix that wants to rule the world. Get your flags out everyone and pray for the troops. There are enemies everywhere and we need all the technological advantage we can get!”

And that’s seriously the mindset of 95% of those involved in all this bullsh#t. I’ve talked to some of them.

There are many questions surrounding the Japanese quake and tsunami. This is just the type of thing alternative researchers regularly investigate, looking for anything strange and man-made, since so often you do find strange EMF signatures or the like, as with these recent unusual tornado outbreaks in the U.S.

Recent Mexico Quake Anomalies

This admission is off the charts strange. Here the governor of the Mexican region stages a “megaquake drill” that announces “we’re ready” and 6 minutes later the quake happens.

Are you kidding me?

The Mexican State of Chiapas held a ‘mega earthquake drill’ just minutes before the 7.8 Richter scale earthquake registered in Southern Mexico, according to the news website ADNPolitico.com.

Governor Juan Sabines Guerrero sent a message from his Twitter account just six minutes before the actual earthquake. The translation of the message is the following:

“We’re at the State of Chiapas Civil Protection Center. Everything is ready for the 7.9 Richter scale earthquake simulation.”

Six minutes later, and about 500 kilometers west of Chiapas, in the neighboring southern state of Guerrero, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake was registered. The earthquake was so massive that over a hundred aftershocks were felt throughout the following day.  source

Weather Mod In Full Bloom

The government has openly admitted the existence of weather modification technology for a long time. There’s even a United Nations Weather Warfare Treaty to NOT use them!

Of course only on other countries, not your own.

And as is usually the case, this stuff’s been in full operation covertly yet in plain site for decades and we’re left to piece the evidence together for ourselves. But believe me, it’s not hard. There is documentation all over the place as well as scientific sites that track these phenomena.

Nicolas West from Activist Post summarizes this regarding the recent tornado outbreak nicely:

Quote
It is indisputable that weather weapons have been considered as a means for agricultural and societal control.  Elite grand master, Zbigniew Brzezinski, stated in his book Between Two Ages (1970) that “Technology of weather modification could be employed to produce prolonged periods of drought or storm.”

Moreover, it is a stated military goal to “Own the Weather by 2025.”

This HAARP facility and its substations scattered throughout the U.S. have been tracked by intrepid weather researcher Dutchsinse who has made some startlingly accurate predictions based on the tell-tale radar flares of these facilities, already linked to earthquakes in the area of the New Madrid seismic zone.

Beyond earthquakes, however, there is an increasing body of evidence to suggest that the injection of frequencies into storm systems can prolong, or intensify their output.

The massive system that moved through the Dallas area yesterday seems to bear the signatures of a similar frequency injection that Dutchsinse has used to predict previous tornado outbreaks.  The patterns show up as HAARP rings (circle sweeps) or scalar squares (square waves) which are pinpointed below.  source

Be Prepared – But Stay Happy!

Once again, we need to be on our toes.

Those in earthquake zones, however remote the chance, should have their go-bags ready, shoes to slip on by your bed, and emergency supplies and escape plans ready. People just don’t get how important that is.

And we didn’t even touch on their planned flu pandemics for which we need good supplements and natural remedies, as well as face masks. Yes, face masks, at least good surgical ones.

I know, it can be depressing, but you’ll sleep a lot better knowing you and your family are responding and not just staring at all this like a deer in the headlights.

As Sovereign Man says, “There are two ways to sleep well at night. Be ignorant or be prepared.”

Well said.

Now you know what’s going on you only have one alternative. Easy.

Love, Zen

We couldn’t have said it better, friend

M-Class Solar Flare / Spectacular Eruption

The returning region off the northeast limb looks to be providing us with some Solar Fireworks. A massive eruption that registered as an M1.7 event, peaked at 17:45 UTC on Monday afternoon. Due to the location of this event, the CME plasma cloud generated was not directed towards Earth.

Big Eruption (Monday) - SDO

A returning active region produced an M1.7 Solar Flare which led to a massive eruption. This movie contains images and video by SDO and EVE. This will most likely not be directed towards Earth because of its location near the eastern limb.

Updated 4/17/2012 @ 11:50 UTC

Solar Update

Solar activity increased to moderate levels with an M1.7 flare detected around the returning active region off the northeast limb. An impressive plasma eruption resulted, but does not look to be Earth directed.

This returning sunspot should be numbered 1461 on Tuesday. A new region now numbered 1460 continues to form in the northern hemisphere to the north of where fading AR1458 once was. Sunspot 1459 located in the southeast quadrant remains a sprawling sunspot cluster, but is not magnetically complex.

Elsewhere, existing sunspot 1455 is approaching the western limb and will soon begin to rotate out of direct Earth view. There will remain a chance for C-Class flares on Tuesday and perhaps an isolated M-Class event.

Sunspot 1459: Despite being fairly quiet, Sunspot 1459 continues to change appearance and size. This 7 day movie by SDO/HMI shows AR1459 rotating into view and and how it continues to evolve.

We certainly do live interesting times and are daily thankful of our fellow travelers this time around ...

Great post, Thor, you definitely have an amazing knack for bringing the news!
In an honest way! You truly are a passionate journalist!

Thanks for the paragraph bump! I love that enter button.:o

Now even more!:D

I see weather as an indicator of unkind deeds perpetrated by our PTB, and they would find a way to control that too, dammit! I love the rain! But not their idea of it!:(

Hey, hows that hydro power station coming along?
I have been going through some plans for my Vortex generator and wondered if you have any ideas on such an apparatus?

Cheers!

Thats a quote from above but I am not sure who to credit for it..... but thats an interesting statement. I have some interest in that area since my Dad was one of the first who discovered that trench in 1933.....

It was called the Princeton Gravity expedition. The sub was the S48.

And during part of their voyage there was a major earthquake in Santiago. The populace blamed the US submarine in the harbor and the crew who were ashore had to make a hurried exit by truck to the other side of the island.. chased by a mob who blamed them for the quake. ( And Amaterasu.... they DID  have  torches!!!)

Nobody much mentions that..... because they don't know about it YET.

Who was on that cruise? The sub was borrowed by a mysterious scientist from the Netherlands who was studying gravity and anomalous readings......the junior exec was a man by the name of Rickover. My Dad was a low ranking seaman first class.... yet he was in charge of some of the operations.... hand picked by the man from the Nethrlands. While ashore Dad and his scientific partner ( Hess.... who later discovered Sea Mounts by the use of sonar which he developed for the Navy.).... the hotel they were in was demolished and Hess and my Dad saved the scientist and dragged him out into the open just as the rest of the hotel collapsed.

All this is documented history...... But obviously there was alot going on that nobody at that time was meant to know..... The towns people blamed the US sub for triggering the quake.... which Dad denied of course... pointing out that if they had caused it.... they would not have been sleeping in an old downtown building!!!! It didn't stop a mob from forming.

So you see folks. This has been brewing for a very long time.

And only a few months later another expedition was launched. But now note..... the simple sailor who was on the sub...... is now listed as a Lt. Commander.

For watching Earthquakes I use the IRIS Seismic Monitor.

It is a great quick look tool that shows you today's quakes in Red yesterday in Orange and the last week in Yellow...

A quick click will give you the last 30 days list in any area you highlight by picking the circle of the quake

http://www.iris.edu/seismon/

It is an awesome live monitor for the lay person as it shows instantly what is shaking :D

As to this cycle being 'normal' or not...

In our recorded history this cycle of large quakes is NOT normal... but since we have only been recording a few hundred years and before that only a few hundred more of written accounts...

It is not possible to say what is or is not 'normal' in the geological time span of the planet, solar activity or what is happening in the solar system...

There is ONE source of information on the planet that can give us a longer record...

the Lake Vostok Ice Core samples

These cores are taken from Antarctica and represent 415 THOUSAND years of ice layers. They are taken from the drilling at Vostok Base to reach a fresh water lake that is not frozen beneath miles of ice

Like tree rings, the ice layers don't lie...  they tell the story of the Earth's climate over that 415,000 year period and what they show us is scary...

Here you can see a REGULAR cycle of the Earth's climate.  What is scary is that the warm periods are VERY short on a geological scale while the cold periods are very long and in three dips...

Also when the change occurs, you can see by the graph that it is NOT gradual but a sudden change over a few years...

And lastly... look at where we are today on that graph... if I were you I would lay in warm clothes blankets and firewood... I did :D

One thing about an ice age coming...  BEFORE it gets cold there will be a period of global warming. That warming changes the water salinity by adding melted fresh water... which then effects ocean currents that then effect the weather. There was a disaster film that showed this process... and how fast it can happen

I would recommend you all watch it
