Scientists investigate the possibility of wormholes between stars

So NASA artists are designing ships to traverse wormholes  Interesting :P But it is nice to see main steam scientists starting to take it seriously

PhysOrg.com) -- Wormholes are one of the stranger objects that arise in general relativity. Although no experimental evidence for wormholes exists, scientists predict that they would appear to serve as shortcuts between one point of spacetime and another. Scientists usually imagine wormholes connecting regions of empty space, but now a new study suggests that wormholes might exist between distant stars. Instead of being empty tunnels, these wormholes would contain a perfect fluid that flows back and forth between the two stars, possibly giving them a detectable signature.

Stargate is Real

Found this video on Youtube today so had to distract myself once again :D The artifacts in this video are most likely created to make a cool video to send a message. But it is a well made collection, so I figured to include it for interest value. I have contacted the film maker and am waiting reply to see if he is interested in making one for Pegasus using our collected data. Will update as I get word. The following images are clips from the video.  I also want to use this as a lead in to some other 'Gateways to the Gods'

Real artifacts or created for the video? No answers to that yet...  :P

However the following video has some real clues for us to look at...

Stargate Egypt 2009

This video was taken by a group that when to Egypt for a spiritual journey but at the same time seeking evidence of Stargates. While they may not be seeing them the way we do, nevertheless the symbols are interesting. An important factor is the gate representation in the Temple of Hawthor and the tour guide is saying this is representing a gate to the God osiris, that you are moving westward into his domain. The art on the wall shows you need to be anoited with oils and open the third eye in order to make the journey.

It is rare to get pictures that are geared to our search  and most of this video is a simple tour of the area, until we get to the gate symbols that I have clipped below. I will contact the film maker and see if we can get more details

Here is the first symbol image...

This is the symbol we are looking at. I have not yet looked it up in the Hieroglyphs to see what Archaeologists say this means... but I have seen this design in other places around the world

Now lets compare that to the gate in Peru...

This is the gateway in Peru... I will post that in the next post or
See here; Amaru Maru A Gateway to the Lands of the Gods - Peru

Now the one above is very interesting because of the symbol above the gate...
reminds us of the one below...

Serpents above the gate...

The 'Master Gate"  I am not familiar with this reference and will have to ask the film maker...

continued next post...

Our search for the truth of "Stargates" involves following the trail of common symbols around the world. If there was truly nothing to this search but some really wild ideas, we would soon have reached a dead end...

But this was not the case, far from it in fact, because the more we dug, the more things came into light and more connections appeared. All around the world we have seen stories of 'Gateways to the Gods' that while not always described like the Stargate we have come to know, still have similarities.

Shimmering bluish light, watery portals, a way to reach the gods in another world, realm or dimension... Are all these myriad references just myths? I don't believe so.

In the above post you see the symbols in Egypt that the videographer describes as a 'gateway' symbol. And then points to that symbol in Peru...  well here is the story of the Peruvian Gateway... Now also bear in mind the Air Force study that mentions "Naturally occurring anomalous teleportation phenomena that were previously studied by the United States and foreign governments were also documented in the study and are reviewed in the report"

So our Government is aware of natural gateways... we have a LOT to cover :D

Peruvian Star gate Found?
A Gateway to the Lands of the Gods
Aramu Maru, Peru

September 1996

A huge mysterious door-like structure has recently been discovered in the Hayu Marca mountain region of Southern Peru. Hayu Marca, 35 kilometres from the city of Puno has long been revered by local indians as the "City of the Gods", and has never been fully explored because of the rugged mountain terrain. Although no actual city has ever been discovered, many of the rock formations of the region resemble buildings and artificial structures. The door, or the "Puerta de Hayu Marca" (Gate of the gods/spirits) has been at some time in the distant past carved out of a natural rock face and in all measures exactly seven meters in height by seven meters in width with a smaller alcove in the center at the base, which measures in at just under two meters in height.

Jose Luis Delgado Mamani stumbled across the structure while trekking through the surrounding foothills trying to familiarize himself with the area as his job is as a guide for mountaineering tourists.

"When I saw the structure for the first time, I almost passed out..." said Mamani in an interview with the local press. "I have dreamed of such a construction repeatedly over the years, but in the dream the path to the door was paved with pink marble, and with pink marble statues lining either side of the path. In the dream, I also saw that the smaller door was open and there was a brilliant blue light coming from what looked like a shimmering tunnel. I have commented to my family many times about these dreams, and so when I finally gazed upon the doorway, it was like a revelation from God... How do you make order of such a strange occurrence?"

ARCHAEOLOGICAL AUTHORITIES

After discovering the door earlier this year (1996), Mamani contacted archaeological authorities in Puno, La Paz and Lima, and within a short time the area was besieged with archaeologists and Inca historians. It turned out that the native indians of the region had a legend that spoke of "A gateway to the lands of the gods", and in that legend it was said that in times long past, great heroes had gone to join their gods and passed through the gate for a glorious new life of immortality, and on rare occasions those men returned for a short time with their gods to "inspect all the lands in the kingdom" through the gate. Another legend tells of the time when the Spanish Conquistadors arrived in Peru, and looted gold and precious stones from the Inca tribes - and one Incan priest of the temple of the seven rays named Aramu Maru fled from his temple with a sacred golden disk known as "The key of the gods of the seven rays", and hid in the mountains of Hayu Marca. He eventually came upon the doorway which was being watched by shaman priests.

He showed them the key of the gods and a ritual was performed with the conclusion of a magical occurrence initiated by the golden disk which opened the portal, and according to the legend blue light did emanate from a tunnel inside. The priest Aramu Maru handed the golden disk to the shaman and then passed through the portal "never to be seen again". Archaeologists have observed a small hand sized circular depression on the right hand side of the small entranceway, and have theorized that this is where a small disk could be placed and held by the rock.

VISIONS OF STARS

According to some individuals who have laid their hands on the small door, a feeling of energy flowing has been commented on, as well as strange experiences such as visions of stars, columns of fire and the sounds of unusual rhythmic music. Others have said that they have perceived tunnels on the interior of the structure, though nobody as yet has found a gap that would illustrate the door opening, on the contrary the professional opinion is that there is no actual door, for the frame and the entranceway and the back of the alcove are all carved from the same rock. It is interesting to note that the structure undeniably resembles the gate of the sun at Tiahuanaco and five other archaeological sites which link together by imaginary straight lines, a cross with the lines crossing each other exactly at the point where the plateau and lake of Titicaca is located. News reports from the region over the last twenty years have indicated sizable UFO activity in all of these areas, especially at Lake Titicaca. Most of the reports describe glowing blue spheres and bright white disk shaped objects.

The afore mentioned legend concludes with a prophecy that the door of the gods will one day open "many times bigger than it actually is..." and allow the gods to return in their "sun ships...". Sounds familiar to me!!

Various Bronze "Sun" Discs found in Peru

Aramu Maru fled from his temple with a sacred golden disk known as "The key of the gods of the seven rays", and hid in the mountains of Hayu Marca. Perhaps they were similar to the Peruvian bronze wheels described by professor Rafael Larco Hoyle in his work "Peru". The disks in the picture above resemble modern gears.

The Stargate of Aramu Muru

Disclose TV Video expedition by Jerry Willis

Far from civilization, and high within the Andes, an outcropping of ancient petrified sandstone was shaped by the hands of a forgotten civilization. The technology they possessed exceeds the current understand of quantum principals.

The outcropping was made ornate by including the features of a woman lying on her back as she gazes silently towards the sky. Beneath her, a shallow entryway, an odd keyhole, was placed whose secrets have been known to the Aymara shamen for thousands of years.

Now, as we approach 2012, and the end of an era, those secrets have been given. The mysterious portal has opened once again to those gifted enough, brave enough, to pass through. But who or what, waits on the other side?

Note: original video was 266 mb so please forgive me, for any Pixelation or bad sound quality, you may see in this compressed version.

Amaru Muru: Gateway Of The Serpents: Before The Inca

Now this Gateway naturally draws many New Agers to try to open the portal :D More on that later. One thing to take forward from this story is "The key of the gods of the seven rays" and mention of the Serpents

Aramu Muru

Editors Note:  The following is a different and more detailed version of the legend and different spelling for the priest. This version is provided by a Peruvian tourist and history network.

Situated 35 kilometers from Puno and very close to Lake Titicaca, amidst green fields, we find what is considered one of the wonders of the region: The door of Aramu Muru, a stone construction seven meters wide and seven meters tall.

Locals say that it is the entrance to the God Meru’s Temple of Illumination or “Hayu Marca”, they tell strange stories about the door such as on certain afternoons it becomes semi-transparent.

There is also the belief that if you touch the inside of the door frame with both hands you experience strange phenomenon such as visions of fire, musical melodies and visions of tunnels that run under the mountain. However, only very few people have actually experienced the aforementioned phenomenon.

Natives consider the place known as “Aramu Muru” as the door and man as the key, you can only pass through when you are in harmony with the sun.

Legend tells of a Inca priest called Aramu Muru who belonged to the Seven Rays Monastery – where cult worship of the sun took place – who set out on foot from Tiahuanaco to Cusco carrying a gold disc. Along the way he disappeared and was never seen again. This period in history coincides with the conquest and the Spanish troops had just taken Cusco. The priest is said to have taken refuge in the mountains to prevent the gold disc, created by the Gods, from falling into the hands of the Spanish. The ancient inhabitants of Lake Titicaca named the gigantic stone door after him. However over time the doors name and location were forgotten. Aramu Muru knew where the door was and also a secret method to gain access to its interior and to other dimensions. He disappeared behind the door with the intention of saving himself and the solar disc.

Quantum Teleportation

Quote
Teleportation is the name given by science fiction writers to the feat of making an object or person disintegrate in one place while a perfect replica appears somewhere else. How this is accomplished is usually not explained in detail, but the general idea seems to be that the original object is scanned in such a way as to extract all the information from it, then this information is transmitted to the receiving location and used to construct the replica, not necessarily from the actual material of the original, but perhaps from atoms of the same kinds, arranged in exactly the same pattern as the original. A teleportation machine would be like a fax machine, except that it would work on 3-dimensional objects as well as documents, it would produce an exact copy rather than an approximate facsimile, and it would destroy the original in the process of scanning it. A few science fiction writers consider teleporters that preserve the original, and the plot gets complicated when the original and teleported versions of the same person meet; but the more common kind of teleporter destroys the original, functioning as a super transportation device, not as a perfect replicator of souls and bodies.

Quote
In 1993 an international group of six scientists, including IBM Fellow Charles H. Bennett, confirmed the intuitions of the majority of science fiction writers by showing that perfect teleportation is indeed possible in principle, but only if the original is destroyed. In subsequent years, other scientists have demonstrated teleportation experimentally in a variety of systems, including single photons, coherent light fields, nuclear spins, and trapped ions.? Teleportation promises to be quite useful as an information processing primitive, facilitating long range quantum communication (perhaps unltimately leading to a "quantum internet"), and making it much easier to build a working quantum computer. But science fiction fans will be disappointed to learn that no one expects to be able to teleport people or other macroscopic objects in the foreseeable future, for a variety of engineering reasons, even though it would not violate any fundamental law to do so.

Quote
In the past, the idea of teleportation was not taken very seriously by scientists, because it was thought to violate the uncertainty principle of quantum mechanics, which forbids any measuring or scanning process from extracting all the information in an atom or other object. According to the uncertainty principle, the more accurately an object is scanned, the more it is disturbed by the scanning process, until one reaches a point where the object's original state has been completely disrupted, still without having extracted enough information to make a perfect replica. This sounds like a solid argument against teleportation: if one cannot extract enough information from an object to make a perfect copy, it would seem that a perfect copy cannot be made. But the six scientists found a way to make an end run around this logic, using a celebrated and paradoxical feature of quantum mechanics known as the Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen effect. In brief, they found a way to scan out part of the information from an object A, which one wishes to teleport, while causing the remaining, unscanned, part of the information to pass, via the Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen effect, into another object C which has never been in contact with A.

Quote
Later, by applying to C a treatment depending on the scanned-out information, it is possible to maneuver C into exactly the same state as A was in before it was scanned. A itself is no longer in that state, having been thoroughly disrupted by the scanning, so what has been achieved is teleportation, not replication.

As the figure suggests, the unscanned part of the information is conveyed from A to C by an intermediary object B, which interacts first with C and then with A. What? Can it really be correct to say "first with C and then with A"? Surely, in order to convey something from A to C, the delivery vehicle must visit A before C, not the other way around. But there is a subtle, unscannable kind of information that, unlike any material cargo, and even unlike ordinary information, can indeed be delivered in such a backward fashion. This subtle kind of information, also called "Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen (EPR) correlation" or "entanglement", has been at least partly understood since the 1930s when it was discussed in a famous paper by Albert Einstein, Boris Podolsky, and Nathan Rosen. In the 1960s John Bell showed that a pair of entangled particles, which were once in contact but later move too far apart to interact directly, can exhibit individually random behavior that is too strongly correlated to be explained by classical statistics. Experiments on photons and other particles have repeatedly confirmed these correlations, thereby providing strong evidence for the validity of quantum mechanics, which neatly explains them. Another well-known fact about EPR correlations is that they cannot by themselves deliver a meaningful and controllable message. It was thought that their only usefulness was in proving the validity of quantum mechanics. But now it is known that, through the phenomenon of quantum teleportation, they can deliver exactly that part of the information in an object which is too delicate to be scanned out and delivered by conventional methods.

Quote
This figure compares conventional facsimile transmission with quantum teleportation (see above). In conventional facsimile transmission the original is scanned, extracting partial information about it, but remains more or less intact after the scanning process. The scanned information is sent to the receiving station, where it is imprinted on some raw material (eg paper) to produce an approximate copy of the original. By contrast, in quantum teleportation, two objects B and C are first brought into contact and then separated. Object B is taken to the sending station, while object C is taken to the receiving station. At the sending station object B is scanned together with the original object A which one wishes to teleport, yielding some information and totally disrupting the state of A and B. The scanned information is sent to the receiving station, where it is used to select one of several treatments to be applied to object C, thereby putting C into an exact replica of the former state of A.

The Sumerian Bolivian Connection

Beth has covered this symbol several times... most recently in the Point of Origin Thread

Thee was an artifact found in Bolivia many years ago... a bowl with markings on the rim..

It is called the..

Fuente Magna

The Fuente Magna, found on the property of the Manjon family by a local peasant, is a large stone vessel, resembling a libation bowl. The property is located in the area surrounding Lake Titicaca about 75/80 km from the city of La Paz.

While the section of the rim has an uncanny resemblance to the Star Gates we are studying, what is important and of archeological significance, is the cuneiform writing on one section of the rim. The two snakes bordering the rim facing the central figure is also noteworthy.

Fuente Magna - Rosetta Stone of the Americas

Quote
In 1958/60 Don Max Portugal Zamora, a Bolivian archaeologist, learned of it's existence Pastor Manjon. Mr. Portugal "baptized" the site with the name it bears today, "Fuente Magna"--in our view an accurate assessment. Instantly it's rescuing was studiously embarked upon. Through the mediation and negotiation of General Armando Escobar Uria property was swapped for another parcel in the neighborhood of Sopocachi.

Safely under the protection of the honorable, municipal, mayoralty Mr. Portugal began to restore it by applying cement to the parts that showed chipping and deterioration minor repairs for effect, in our view. He lost no time in attempting to decipher the writing inside the object  turning to the texts known as "Qellga Llippichi" one of those interpreted by Don Franz Tamayo. He also consulted a publication by our illustrious friend, Dr. Dick Edgar Ibarra Grasso, entitled "Indigenous Andean Writing" (HAM La Paz 1953), it ends as you might expect (fruitless). The limits of his honest efforts. The writing is undoubted from the Old World.

Hebraic from the sinaitic appearance influenced by cuneiform, or simply cuneiform of possible Sumero-Akkadian origins, this being the take-off point on which we announced our extraordinary discovery. Two mayors (local guys) don Armando Escobar Uria and Don Mario Mercado Vaca Guzman have been looking after our investigation until very recently with many restrictions since we cannot count on the support of the state.
Nevertheless, work has continued on what we call the "Rosetta Stone of the Americas", for lack of a better name. If our method of investigation holds up several things are worthy of note:

1. We are dealing with an object which was made in keeping with Mesopotamian tradition.
2. It contains two texts, one in cuneiform and another Semitic language of possible Sinaitic extraction cuneiform influences.
3. According to the symbols used one would be before an object that evidently shows itself to be from the transitional period between ideographical writing and cuneiform.
4. Chronologically, this leads us to the 3500/3000 B.C., the Sumerian/Akkadian period.

Decipherment of the Cuneiform Writing on the Fuente Bowl

Below is a decipherment of the cuneiform writing on the Fuente Bowl

Quote
Cuneiform Writing on the Fuente Bowl

To translate the cuneiform I used Samuel A. B. Mercer's, Assyrian grammar with chrestomuthy and glossary (N.Y.:AMS Press,1966) to compare the signs found on the Fuente bowl with the cuneiform syllabary. To read the Sumerian text I used John L. Hayes, A Manuel of Sumerian: Grammar and text ( Malibu,CA:Udena Publications, 2000) and John A Halloran, Sumerian Lexicon, http://www.sumerian.org/sumerlex.htm

I will translate the Sumerian cuneiform in panels 1 and 2 of the cuneiform text reading from right to left.

In the first panel there is no mention of Shamash the sun god. This is the Akkadian word for the sun god, the name of the sun god in Sumerian was Utu. Reading the text from right to left top to bottom we find the following;

Figure 1: Panel 1 Photo © Clyde A. Winters

Quote
Ti Kur kur kur kur (determinative for divine names) Nia (lit. ni-ash) (Figure 1)

Translation:

"Approach in the future (one) endowed with great protection the great Nia".

"This favorable oracle of the people to establish purity and to establish character [for all who seek it]".

This first panel is very interesting. There are three Proto-Sumerian signs in this panel. Here we also find the use of the divine determinative. Hayes, page 35 (figure 5a) discusses this sign.

The Sumerian sign sed before divine names. Photo © Clyde A. Winters

Quote
I have interpreted the sign Ni-ash as Nia, because of the fact that when a syllable is joined to a consonant vowel form the adjoining sign becomes a single vowel. If we read the signs as Ni-ash it means: "unique awe".

The Sumerian goddess was Nammu, we know very little about this goddess because much of the knowledge about her was lost at the beginning of Ur111. According to Hayes she was recognized as "the mother who gave birth to heaven and earth", the primeval mother, who gave birth to the gods" (Hayes, p.35). This passage suggests that the original name for Nammu was Nia. The quote from Hayes makes it clear that Nammu-Nia was highly regarded and was worshipped as the main god before the rise of any other Sumerian gods.

In the second panel reading from right to left, top to the bottom we find the following:

Figure 2: Panel 2 Photo © Clyde A. Winters

Quote
Transliteration Panel 2:

Pa en ash sa tur

Translation:

"Sprout [oh] diviner the unique advise [at] the temple"

This translation of the first two panels of the cuneiform writing reads as follows:

"Approach in the future (one) endowed with great protection the Great Nia".

"[The Divine One Nia(sh) to] Establish Purity, Establish Gladness, Establish Character"

"[Use this talisman (the Fuente bowl)] To sprout [oh] diviner the unique advise [at] the temple".

Here we have panel 3, of the Fuente bowl. The signs on this panel are very interesting, as in the other panels we see a combination of Proto-Sumerian and cuneiform signs.

Figure 3 Panel 3 Photo © Clyde A. Winters

Quote
Panel 3

Reading from right to left, top to bottom. We have the following:

Zi esh

The righteous shrine

Esh esh esh esh

Anoint the shrine, anoint the shrine

Pap pa ge

The leader takes an oath [to]

Lu ta mi du lu ta

Establish Purity , a favorable oracle (and) Establish character

Bar nu ash

Open up a unique light [i.e., knowledge, for all]

Ash ti en

Wish for a noble life

The entire panel reads as follows:

"The righteous shrine, anoint (this) shrine, anoint (this) shrine; The leader takes an oath [to] Establish purity, a favorable oracle (and to) Establish character. [Oh leader of the cult] Open up a unique light [for all], [who] wish for a noble life".

Commentary

The cuneiform writing was interesting for two reasons. First, we find that these panels have proto-Sumerian symbols mixed with the cuneiform symbols.Secondly, whereas, the wedges of most Sumerian cuneiform text point leftward, the wedges of the Fuente cuneiform signs point rightward. This may result from the fact that in the Fuente text , the letters are read from right to left, instead of left to right like the cuneiform text from Mesopotamia. The passage on the cuneiform panels of the Fuente Bowl seems to be very similar to the Proto-Sumerian inscription on the right side of the bowl. This translation makes it clear that the passage complements my earlier decipherment of the Proto-Sumerian text also found on the left side of the Fuente Bowl.

Keith Cowing...

...first ran into him with LOIRP and the McMoon Lunar Orbiter Tapes fiasco...

...he also is involved with NASA Watch...  while searching the web this article popped up :D Seems he is getting more like us every day :D I will have to contact him again and see what's new since the LOIRP thing just kinda died out.

Now this article is most definitely tongue in cheek... or is it? :D Especially in the light of the new NASA announcement that natural Portals are Real

Ames Has A Stargate
By Keith Cowing on December 13, 2007 3:29 PM.

Quote
Editor's note: During demolition of the Ames 14' Wind Tunnel, a Stargate was discovered. The dialing device for the Stargate has not been found and may have been destroyed during the first phase of demolition. However, one rumor circulating at Ames refers to a large object being shipped to Google Headquarters late last night that matches the description of the dialer. Perhaps this is why Google was so interested in Ames (Google Stargate?) The discovery of this device also confirms long held suspicions as to why former Reagan era Star Wars participant, Brig. General Pete Worden was so interested in coming to Ames (see Worden's official portrait from a secret DoD website)

Of course, now that Ames has a Stargate, MSFC will try and take it away.

Editor's update: Looks like someone activated the Stargate - during working hours - before it could be moved to its new location inside Hangar One. Now there will be no way that NASA and Google can deny this. After all, they couldn't figure out how to hide a simple thing like a 767 jet ...

Quote
Editor's additional update: A NASAWatch reader has helped unravel this mystery. There is another operational Stargate. It would seem that ARC is tapping personnel expertise across the world - via Stargate - from CERN. They commute daily via Stargate from Switzerland!

Above you can see one of the few pieces still waiting to join the rest: a wheel of muon chambers, designed to detect forward-aiming charged particles penetrating enough to punch the whole central structure of the CMS detector – muons, that is. One cannot avoid feeling awed while walking under these giant structures. - SOURCE

The Sumerian Stargate

Now Beth has done extensive work on the Sumerian gate at ATS and scattered around this site. We have not yet transferred all that data (320 pages at ATS). For this thread I am going to pick the starting point for me... the Sumerian cylinder seals that depict the Stargate.

History is filled with many "Gateways to the Gods" and i will get around to all of them... (eventually :P ) but I was working on another Mystical thread so I wanted to add the gateway relevance to this thread as well. As always, discussion is in the parallel thread :D

The Sumerian Stargate - The Abzu

Sitchin based a lot of his theories on a Sumerian cylinder seal. Well we too have a few that back the Stargate theory. In fact these ones are much clearer of a reference than were Sitchin's 12th planet ones :D

The first one shows Enki coming out of a water gateway, depicted as a well on the ground....
Note: some sources say its Ea... I will let Undo sort that out :P

Enki walks out of the water to the land.

But other seals show the gateway differently

Enki walks out of the water to the land.

Here we see the two Gate Guardians that are a common motive on almost all gateway representations. I will have many examples as this thread progresses. But in this seal we see the watery border and definite steps with the god still in the distance coming through

This image came from an old print in an encyclopedia I picked up from the Gutenberg Project

Here is another seal.... This is the one Undo used in her work...

Ea stands in his watery home the Apsu

One picture of mine from the original Stargate work has made the interweb circuit :P Even Crystal links picked it up

The Alien in the Stargate

This relief in the British Museum shows the Sumerian God Ninurta (also known by other names) in a Gateway (Stargate, Portal). His father was Enlil and his mother, Ninlil. Ninurta is very clearly using his index finger to push something on the wall. He wears two wrist devices, one used for time travel. The emblem around his neck matches the design of the Knights Templar.

Here is my annotated image...

Anunnaki King - Ninurta
This relief in the British Museum show the Anunnaki King Ninurta in a Gateway. He is very clearly using a finger to push something on the wall of the Gate (3).. Is he activating the Portal? His bracelet looks very similar to a modern wrist watch (2) and the emblem around his neck matches the design for Mount Meru and is very similar to our modern radiation symbol. This symbols has been identified as also representing the power of the "Dark Star" {The other five symbols will be identified as soon as we find a source}

Do an image search on my copy and its spread far and wide :D

Okay so there we have a few of the interesting Sumerian connections in clear and actual archaeological finds. No internet hanky panky...

Don't forget the Bolivian - Sumerian bowl we covered earlier with the two serpents on either side of the gateway...

Here is another Gateway with the two Gate Guardians....  Notice the SIZE of the gate compared to the man in the middle.

Assyrian Gateway

Assyrian Gateway. Location unknown but most likely Nimrud. Notice the man in the center providing scale. A pair of Lamassu figures flanking the gateway act as guardians.

The biggest problem I have with this research is the shear volume of material and that it is all connected. So it is very hard to focus on one thing without branching out to follow the trails and links. Like the Bolivian link to the Sumerian gateway and the Egyptian symbol from Giza linked to the Peruvian gateway - Amaru Maru - A Gateway to the Lands of the Gods

We have to follow the branches at times to show both the context and the connection, because that is the only way to see the bigger picture so let's have a little look at this....

What's in a Name?

A name... a word.... translated and reused.... can be a very important clue.  In this case the name Abydos is one such name.

Abydos was used in Stargate SG1 and the original movie.... Sure we can say "coincidence" or even "great research". Fair enough but I don't believe in the former, and the later leads us to our Egyptian professor who gave them the idea :P

So forget "coincidence" and lets follow the research. The following is from Undo's work. We can elaborate on it later in the discussion thread.

Abydos
also known as Abtu or Abdju

Abzu
Sumerian name for the Abyss... also written as Apsu

Abyss
Biblical watery gateway...

Abyss = Abzu = Apsu = Abtu = Abdju = Abydos
Based on this reasoning and the use by SG1, Abydos would be a great place to begin any search for ancient astronauts or stargates.

So do any of the finds at Abydos, archaeologically speaking, bear up to anything unusual happening in the past?

You bet your bippy it does... in fact, so much so it will take several side threads to cover it all

So for now, for the sake of connections and following the trail of the Stargates... I will list each item briefly and we can expand on it in separate thread. Any new info that pops up from the discussion (as usually does) I will update this library thread

The study of the Ancients and the Gateways tend to involve visitors of great power, godlike in nature and even giant in stature, as that Assyrian Gateway above shows. These things are all connected even alluded to in the Bible and Tibetan scrolls.

So lets dig up Abydos, shall we?

Secrets in the Skeletons

This skeleton of a woman in her 30s has an extra pair of ribs. (Brenda Baker, Courtesy Penn-Yale-IFA)

This source is directly from the Archaeological Institute of America, so not some froo froo internet site. :D. Now they ascribe this to some disease... but when we look at it from our point of view, it is a very significant find indeed

Secrets in the Skeletons
by Brenda Baker

Disease and deformity attest the hazards of daily life.

Thousands of people were buried at Abydos between the Predynastic period and Greco-Roman era, giving it the potential to provide us with a portrait of a population over some 3,500 years. So far, we have excavated and analyzed more than 100 burials and huge concentrations of disturbed and commingled human remains.

In 1991, six burials of infants and young children were discovered under the floor of a house dating primarily to the First Intermediate period (2134-1797 B.C.). One infant showed evidence of a rare congenital disease, osteopetrosis or "stone bones." Burials from the nearby Middle Cemetery provide further evidence of congenital abnormalities among the First Intermediate period residents of Abydos. The abundance of developmental defects in the burials implies that the townspeople were exposed to as yet to be determined environmental hazards that triggered abnormalities or had a high degree of genetic relatedness.

Middle Kingdom burials from the North Cemetery have also yielded a wealth of information. Childhood nutritional stress was ubiquitous, contributing to short adult stature. Men averaged 5 feet, 5 inches tall, and women, 5 feet, 1 inch. People in their late teens show wear and tear in their skeletons associated with repetitive stress such as carrying heavy loads. Infectious disease was prevalent.

Brenda Baker is assistant professor of anthropology at Arizona State University.

Abydos - Abtu or Abdju -The City of the Djed

Now the Djed itself is an interesting device. It will figure greatly later on with a study of Ancient Electricity, something else that is connected to Abydos.

But a recent look at Abydos revealed this now famous (and subject of a heavy debunking campaign from the skeptics) relief conveniently found at Abydos...

This hieroglyph in the Temple of Seti I at Abydos which  shows apparent helicopters, and submarines,  are perhaps  where an inscription has been written  more than once. As the plaster fell away, it looks like modern craft.

Wall of Kings - Abydos

Not going to debate this one... its just another "coincidence" that this is found at Abydos :P

In Stargate SG1... Hathor

Why do we see Hathor in SG1? It's back to that "coincidence" vs research thing :D But lets have a quick look at the 'Fantasy" After all it IS our contention that the show is showing us reality :D

I guess I need to add her to Space Chicks as well :D

"We are the mother of all gods."
    —Hathor

Hathor was the mate of Ra and the mother to Heru'ur. Stranded on Earth after the Tau'ri rebellion, she became imprisoned in her sarcophagus for centuries before being set free. Leaving Earth, she attempted to rebuild her power base, before being killed in a confrontation with SG-1.

Ra's Queen

Once a Goa'uld with her own empire, Hathor originally ruled from her place of power on Ta-Netjer. The local population, the Netjerians, were anthropomorphic beings who worshiped Hathor as a god with even more devotion than that seen in other races. She eventually entered into an alliance with Ra, becoming his queen and, not wanting his queen to have her own base of power, Ra forced her to leave Ta-Netjer for good to join him on Earth, though the Netjerians did not take her absence lightly, committing mass suicide and performing rituals to bring her back through the Stargate. It was because of this alliance that Hathor lost much of her independence and freedom of movement, both of which she valued dearly, which led to her secretly loathing Ra

Little is known of Hathor's history after this time until the Goa'uld ruled over the Tau'ri world of Earth, but legend holds that she was supposedly the daughter of Ra—perhaps through his queen, Egeria—and the mother of Heru'ur. It was a lesser known fact that she also took on the persona of Sekhmet, the Eye of Ra, which led to some confusion as to what her history actually entailed due to the fact that at least two other Goa'uld, Bastet and Sekhmet herself, used that name. It was thought that the cult of Hathor's personality spread over the Earth to Greece, Italy, Mesopotamia, and beyond, inspiring the myths of—or perhaps being modeled on by—Aphrodite, Venus, and Ishtar as "love goddesses" and figures of female beauty.

Hathor holding a Goa'uld Symbiot

In KUNDALINI the serpent energy, it is described as wrapping itself around the base of the spine and giving the Kundalin Master powers like a god... the only difference is that unlike the Goa'uld, the master is still in control

Hathor's Symbol... one that would be found on the head of her Jaffa's

Okay so there we have Hathor ala Stargate SG1... now lets look at the real one

Abydos and Dendera

Abydos was the center of the national cult of Osiris. Osiris and the Osireon is another aspect Undo has extensive research on. The Osirion or Osireon is located at Abydos at the rear of the temple of Seti I. But before we go there, lets have a look a little south of Abydos, the City of Dendera, more particularly Hathor's Temple at Dendera.

If you don't already know about this place you are in for a surprise :D

Temple of Hathor in Dendera

Temple of Hathor before it became a tourist site

This building has no statues or figures of Gods all over it , so it leads one to conclude that it had other uses. Though archeologist seem to indicate that everything in ancient times revolved around religion in some form or other, it seems more likely that some buildings, {other than housing} served other functions.

Here is a VERY intersting description from one archaeological source;

The Temple of Hathor at Dendera contains a number of small crypts along the eastern, southern, and western sides. These crypts are thought to have served as warehouses or treasuries for ritual furnishings, sacred and ceremonial equipment, and divine images used in celebrating various feasts and holidays. The crypts are small and it is likely that few served as locations for formal rituals. Many have plain, undecorated walls, but some have walls of limestone, rather than the sandstone of the temple itself, that are covered with carefully carved reliefs

At the southern end of the temple there are five subterranean crypts aligned along a straight hallway. It was in these small rooms that the most valuable of the temple statues and objects were kept, including two gilt statues of Hathor decorated with precious stones. The statues have long since vanished, but they are described in the text: one was "the height of one cubit, three palms and two fingers." François Daumas wrote:

But most prestigious of the statues was that of the ba of Hathor. According to the texts written on the walls, we know that the kiosk consisted of a gold base surmounted by a gold roof supported by four gold posts, covered on all four sides by linen curtains hung from copper rods. Inside was placed the gold statuette representing a bird with a human head capped with a horned disc. This was Hathor, Lady of Dendara, residing in her house... It was certainly this statuette that was carried in the kiosk on the evening of the New Year. [Dendara et le Temple d'Hathor, 1969, p. 60; my own translation.]

It is in the easternmost of these five crypts that the strange reliefs are found...

Its interesting that the above description calls the building a storeroom (warehouse), yet still calls the actual rooms crypts.

Just for comparison....

Modern Electric Power Building  Niagara Falls, NY

Why compare it to an Electric Power Building ? Well stay tuned :P

But first.... the Hathor's Jaffa at Dendera

Hathor's Jaffa at Dendera

Jaffa Warriors

Quote
The Jaffa are a fictional alien race, in the television series Stargate SG-1. They are a mutation of humanity, descended from genetically modified people from Earth who were kidnapped by the Goa'uld using the Stargate during antiquity. They were modified to serve as warriors and incubators for larval Goa'uld.

Jaffa Teal'c

Staff Weapon

Jaffa Teal'c with Staff Weapon

A weapon of Goa'uld design. Several feet in length, its head divides into four parts when activated, releasing powerful bolts of plasma energy. The weapon is powered by a small, green container of liquid naquadah. It is generally considered to be a weapon of terror, since its ability to accurately target a moving object, let alone a motionless one, is less reliable than some human weapons that have pin-point accuracy.

Fictional they say? Hmmmm

Hathor's Temple Guardians
Temple of Hathor
Dendera, Egypt

The image above is a relief on the walls of Hathor's Temple, Dendera Egypt... The same temple that has the famous "lightbulbs" depicted on the walls.

Here we see a group of Jaffa Warriors with staff weapons. Notice the face of the closest one... he looks neither Egyptian or Nubian. They have very broad shoulders and are muscular, a depiction rarely seen in Egyptian reliefs and they have a high forehead.

Coincidence?

...the famous "lightbulbs"

Oh yeah... those :P

Ancient Electricity
The Facts

Luxor Pyramid Beam... Las vegas Nevada

Well we have all seen the infamous "light bulbs" found on the walls of Hathor's Temple at Dendera by now right? After all Erik von Danekin showed us those at the dawn of the Ancient Astronaut hunt.

Well some time ago there was other direct evidence of Ancient Electricity discovered in the dusty basement of a museum in Baghdad. Had not a new curator gone down there to take inventory, we may never have known about them. Seems as the7y could not explain them, they were shoved into the basement out of sight.

These objects, about 42 of them, turned out to be operational BATTERIES that could produce about 1.5 volts (same as our current cells).

Since the war in Iraq, all those batteries have no disappeared once again, either into a private collection, or destroyed by zealots

It is my opinion that these batteries were copies from older technology, same as I believe are the depictions on the walls. The actual technology was Ancients and the early Egyptians tried to understand and depict what they remembered. As time went on the skills were forgotten, which is also why the Pyramids start with perfection (the Great Pyramid) and get progressively sloppy from there forward

The Baghdad Battery ~ 250 BCE

The Baghdad Battery is the common name for a number of artifacts apparently discovered in the village of Khuyut Rabbou'a (near Baghdad, Iraq) in 1936. These artifacts came to wider attention in 1938, when Wilhelm König, the German director of the National Museum of Iraq, found the objects in the museum's collections, and (in 1940, having returned to Berlin due to illness) published a paper speculating that they may have been galvanic cells, perhaps used for electroplating gold onto silver objects.

The Ancient Battery in the Baghdad Museum

Quote
Description and Dating

The artifacts consist of ~130 mm (~5 inch) tall terracotta jars (with a one and a half inch mouth) containing a copper cylinder made of a rolled-up copper sheet, which houses a single iron rod. At the top, the iron rod is isolated from the copper by asphalt plugs or stoppers, and both rod and cylinder fit snugly inside the opening of the jar which bulges outward towards the middle (reverse hourglass shape). The copper cylinder is not watertight, so when the jar was filled with a liquid, this would surround the iron rod as well. The artifact had been exposed to the weather and had suffered corrosion, although mild given the presence of an electrochemical couple. This has led some scholars to believe lemon juice, grape juice, or vinegar was used as an acidic agent to jumpstart the electrochemical reaction with the two metals.

König thought the objects might be Parthian (between 250 BC and 224 AD) because the village where they were excavated was Parthian. However according to Dr. St. John Simpson of the Near Eastern department of the British Museum, their original excavation and context were not well recorded (see stratigraphy), so evidence for this date range is very weak. Furthermore, the style of the pottery (see typology) is Sassanid (224-640), so they are probably much more recent than König thought.

Most of the components of the objects are not particularly amenable to advanced dating methods. The ceramic pots could be analysed by thermoluminescence dating, but this has apparently not yet been done; in any case, it would only date the firing of the pots, which is not necessarily the same as when the complete artifact was assembled. Another possibility would be ion diffusion analysis, which could indicate how long the objects were buried.

It is surprising to me that the available dating technique has not been applied. That it would "only date the firing of the pots" seems would at the very least give the date the pots were made, and would be a good start. What are they afraid of discovering? We already know they exist.

At the very least this is positive, concrete evidence that SOME knowledge of electricity was known in Ancient Times.

But since they are once again 'missing', I foresee skeptics saying "What batteries? What are you babbling about"
