I see this thread was buried for a bit, , ,

sooooooo just one question here  :o

WHO is correct?!?!?
The video?
The diagram by Zorgon?

, , , anyone else notice that they are  at odds with each other?  ???

One says that the H is from the positive side, and the other says it is the negative side.  ::)
It's the questions that drive us, , , the answers that guide us.
What will you know tomorrow? Have a question?

Amazing post about attaining free solar panels energy.. It is right time to make most of renewable sources of energy and fulfill our power needs..Great post..

It was not a bump

Im no expert, just a writer....but Id put money on The guy with the bic....

Big Oil would poop themselves if AMH tech became commonplace in tank manufacture....wed have a couple thousand refineries which would become obsolete overnight..along with the supporting oil based infrastructure collapse if the tank companies could ramp manufacturing up quickly...but the sad part is, it would paralyze the entire way of commerce and shipping for those companies, so its a double edged sword.

Id watch big oil crumble from my turret on the roof though..a small price to pay to decimate an industry built on death and hatred of all mankind...the most misanthropic entity to have ever existed next to big pharma and biotech.
Hermetically sealed, for your protection

Norval -

If you google image search Hoffman apparatus you can find many schematics drawn both ways.

I'm guessing the guy with the bic lighter is correct.

sooooooo just one question here  :o

WHO is correct?!?!?
The video?
The diagram by Zorgon?

Hehe

That is probably the ONLY image on the web that has the polarity reversed as any simple google search will show. I used that because it had the balloon collectors.  At leat someone is paying attention

The point is the METHOD is simple  very simple and tons of Hydrogen could be generated by just placing a hydrolosis plant next to a hydro electric dam.  Several dams in Canada are producing access power because there is not enough demand on the available grid, so they zap it into the ground.

You would have water handy and could produce hydrogen ( and thus free oxygen) while the dams are not running at peak

Simple and not expensive

STORAGE for the home inventor is an issue  same with SOLAR power... those batteries to store that power are expensive dangerous and have a short life. But if you were producing all day it would cut your costs tremendously and likely run the meter backwards while you are at work, and you use the grid power back at night...  end up with at least a 50% bill reduction WITHOUT needing those batteries

Hydrogen fuel is doable... in fact even the big oil company Shell is pushing hard for that and are already using it in many countries around the world

Solar power is doable... in fact many states have passed a law requiring power companies to not only allow you to run the meter in reverse but force the power company to pay you extra. Nevada Power sends out monthly flyers to help you the consumer switch to solar... WHY? because they sell power to commercial users at a higher price than the consumer... so they gain by you using less or producing your own

Personally I cannot fathom WHY we are not pushing HARD to make every Peggy member with a home Solar Power efficient....

Solar Power IS FREE ENERGY once the initial cost is covered. It will get you off the grid. It will save you money. Don't know about you but my biggest bill is the power bill and if you have plenty of electricity you can use electric heaters too and eliminate (or reduce) that one as well

All this talk about some vaguely understood (by most) over unity 'free energy' that may or may not work sometime in the future in my opinion is a waste of time when we can build and install a CURRENTLY WORKING system that is neither suppressed or illegal

Sure keep the inventors at it... and hope for a breakthrough...

But if you truly want to help people, the push the HYDROGEN and SOLAR   NOW

Two pencils, two wires  a glass of water and a solar cell...

IT REALLY IS THAT SIMPLE!!!!

And yes  hold the bic to the negative side and breath the positive side :P

One point about HYDROGEN that few mention for the home experimenter point of view

STORAGE

WHY is that an issue? Well beyond the act that you need a lot of it, storing large quantities of hydrogen in the garage without properly containers can be a tad dangerous

THIS is a balloon filled with hydrogen that got a small electric spark...  :D  Maybe THIS is why "Da Gubment" doesn't want you playing with it at home...

Now lets talk about that other system SOLAR

STORAGE

Storage of electricity CURRENTLY is only available in huge batteries. Your car battery is 12 volts at 50-70 amps. Your house current is 110V (approx) and 220V for stoves AC etc (and in Europe)

So to get batteries to supply 120V  you would need 10 car batteries in series (about $100.00 a piece)  those 10 batteries may run your lights for an hour or two so to run your entire house you are going to need a LOT of batteries (I will leave some electrical genius to calculate how many  :P )

Batteries give off fumes...  Since they have a positive and negative pole that is in acidic water, when you charge them they release HYDROGEN...

See image above :P

 ::)

Now how many of you have those little 9 Volt batteries lying around in a drawer?

I bet most of you just toss em in a drawer without covering the tips right?

Do you know what can happen if say a paper clip crosses the terminals in the drawer? Or if two touch terminal to terminal?

Well THIS GUY  tossed some used ones that had almost no juice left into a bin in the garage to properly dispose of them via recycling...

THIS is what happens when something crosses the terminals even when they are almost dead.

The POWER of HYDROGEN

Most people don't really know that the Shuttle Launches are using HYDROGEN and OXYGEN to launch and all that SMOKE is just WATER VAPOR :D

Sure they compress it into liquid form, but then they need a LOT of it in a short time... but you can see the POWER that this fuel is capable of.

And the result is WATER that can be split again and again and again.

Since electricity for Hydrolysis can be generated from solar or gravity (water flowing downhill turning a turbine) HYDROGEN is true FREE ENERGY

This one tells you how much fuel its using :D

So your working on a NUCLEAR REACTOR in your Garage....

 :o ::)

Well I might trust Bob Lazar with his Particle Accelrator and PWM to play safe...  but would you want to love next to the Hutchinson's messing around with one? Or some guy named Obama Bin Laden?

 8)

THIS was someones LAB  :D

And THIS was a rather Infamous Power Plant :D

z

Reguarding solar power. In places like where I live because of the clouds the pay back is way to long. Granted my research in this is about 5 yr old. I need to check the new tech out.

The most import thing there is a current movement by power co to try to change the laws about how much the power co pays for your extra . It has already passed in some places doubleing the pay back time for the equiptment.

Just food for thought.

Good one, Z :D

Yes even button cells can explode if you throw them together, i used a tin box to store them in, duh! only when i burned my fingers did i realise how much energy is left in a supposedly dead battery, LOL

Yes, solar is the way to go, plus a few tricks we have to multiply the current output from your source ;)
Right now Phillips & Siemens are petitioning the EU gubmint to STOP cheaper chinese imports, kind of counterproductive, but i wouldn't expect any less from them.......

HHO works fine, but you need a supply-on-demand system, so no tanks :P

Hydrogen is extremely volatile, we are not allowed any electronic devices or steel tools when working on H2 installations. All the tools are special conducting plastic or bronze :o

I've seen H2 rip apart thick stainless steel tanks, so the first thing you want is a (plastic) flashback arrestor valve, they are on the market.

Solar, fine by me, the main problem is storage as you say, but there are many ways of storing energy like molten salt batteries (providing you keep them above 480 degrees C) they are non toxic & better than lead acid/nicad/etc..

I have even seen plans for using massive carbon fibre flywheels to store energy collected during the day, to be released at night.

...And yes Z, the 'Boom Factor' is always there, LOL

Quite a few members have said "i would love to live next door to you, PWM"........believe me, you might regret it one day :P

Personally, i'd rather test some stuff in Thor's back yard 8)
