I eat Thai food as hot as They will make it...

For heartburn:  2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar (Braggs or other non-pasteurized, organic is best) in 8 oz water.  Drink it down and heartburn is gone.

I drink 2 Tbs. pf ACV daily..To help with HBP and type 2 diabetes...ACV, Garlic, and raw onions are miracle foods. Very rarely have Heartburn ect.

I eat LOTS of garlic and onions.  I had the opportunity to use one of those footbaths that are supposed to draw toxins out of the system - most People wind up with black water by the end of the process.  EveryOne was amazed at the fact that the water in My baths turned slightly pink but mostly clear.  (The pink was an indication of some tobacco - which I smoke but do not inhale...)

Eat those things to detoxify the system, I tell You what!  LOL!

Oh, great idea on the smoked carrots Primus,

Do you smoke your own?

(heheh)
LOL... Yes I do... I smoke half the carrots, onion, and garlic over damp mesquite chips on the grill, so technically I'm grilling them and smoking them. ACV shots are great for heartburn and losing weight; however, I drink coffee mightily which seems to cancel out the ACV, Prevacid allows me to be a hedonist, LOL! I like Braggs, great stuff, my ex and our friends from Ohio like vinegar on their french fries, actually it's kind of good.

I drink coffee...  But rarely have heartburn.  Seems when I switched from pasteurized milk cheeses to raw milk cheese both My heartburn issues dissipated, as well as a good reduction in My rheumatological issues.

On the rare occasion I do get the HB, the ACV does the trick!

Traditional English "fish and chips" is eaten with salt and vinegar.  the bottle in the corner is the vinegar bottle which any traditional English Cafe will have on the table.

In the next picture you can see the vinegar bottles on the tables.

I noticed this too when I went on a 40 day juice fast, I was nutty with all sorts of discipline, dropped 28 pounds and reduced the cholesterol by 37 points! I never felt better, however, I was craving meat; looking over at my dog I started to visualize her as a floating plate of enchiladas, shimmering alongside some fajitas and avocado piled with cheese... LOL, now I'm hungry! No dairy, no greasy fats, no heartburn, and way less allergies. Thanks for reminding me! ACV is good, the stomach likes it, seems to prevent it from over producing more acid.

I have a rather high fat diet - but its olive oil, sesame oil, avocado oil, sunflower oil, hemp oil...  Not butter, meat fat, hydrogenated oils, and such.  Works well and the brain loves it.

Very true Amaterasu! After reading a book by Norman Doidge called the Brain that Changes Itself, I researched various brain foods which include the groups you list. I ate a diet like a Kodiak bear for a few weeks and felt amazing. Almonds, blueberries, dark green leafy stuff; thanks for reminding me! My dietary pendulum needs swing back in that direction :)

Okami Amaterasu:

Almonds and Blueberries...Two more super foods....Edgar Cayce said that if you ate 2 raw almonds a day you could prevent cancer..Unless it was a karmicaly perscribed and self allowed condition...

Many trace elements are poison. We need a little poison, very little, not much.
