BBC News - Obama: World leaders 'rattled' by Trump
US President Barack Obama has said that international leaders "have good reason to be rattled" by pronouncements made by the Republican White House contender, Donald Trump.
Speaking on the sidelines of the G7 summit in Japan, Mr Obama said Mr Trump had shown a cavalier and ignorant attitude towards world affairs.
Mr Obama said foreign leaders were surprised by his nomination.
"They are not sure how seriously to take some of his pronouncements, but they're rattled by him - and for good reason, because a lot of the proposals that he's made display either ignorance of world affairs or a cavalier attitude," the president said.

I'll bet many 'world leaders' are indeed rattled by Mr. Trumps nomination and pronouncements.
Especially the leaders of countries that enjoy huge tariffs on American imports while having virtually none on their imports.
The concept of a level playing field equals a huge loss of money every year for them.
I had first hand experience with these trade barriers when trying to export my product to the countries mentioned, it is a reality not hype.
Also getting other countries to pay their fair share of group projects instead of getting a free ride is another frightening concept that has them 'rattled'.
I'm sure Mr. Trump was elated to hear this public endorsement.
