What do you mean, "off topic?"

It's about precious water!!!

How very interesting.

Hi Thor,

The symptoms of animals and people in the vicinity of the dam lead me to believe there is some kind of seismic activity going on.

Is it possible there is a seismic event at a frequency we can't detect, or that we're not paying attention to?

Thor,

Your huge posts constantly crash my phone.

Would you think about breaking them down to a reasonable size, say, a series of posts?

Thank you,

Irene

Oroville Dam faces another risk: Earthquakes from rapid rise in water levels

Quote
The crisis over the last few weeks at Oroville Dam was about how to handle large amounts of water flowing into the lake with both of the reservoir’s spillways damaged.

But there also was a seismic element at play as well. As Lake Oroville swung from being at 41% of capacity to 101% in just two months, scientists are asking whether the filling of the reservoir at the fastest rate in at least a generation can produce a damaging earthquake.

Then maybe the water purification device that Kamen invented could come into play - with free energy to run it!  Ok, I may be merely dreaming.  But then...  Who knows?

Well water purification is easy with simple charcoal  and you don't need fancy over unity devices to do that. More important is desalinization plants  because all the fresh water eventually ends up in the ocean.

What we need to do is build bigger reservoirs with solar pumps and pipelines to collect flood waters in one regions and ship them to drought regions

Well, as I recall, the Kamen device desalinizes...  So that's why I brought it up.

Yep, as that Perth observer vid says their either winging it; or something is going on that we don't know about yet.  That's par for course.

Strength changes due to reservoir-induced pore pressure and stresses and application to Lake Oroville - Bell - 1978 - Journal of Geophysical Research: Solid Earth - Wiley Online Library

1978 paper (!) – Strength changes due to reservoir-induced pore pressure and stresses and application to Lake Oroville

“The results also show that rapid unloading may cause instantaneous crustal weakening owing to excess pore pressure.”

And here’s one from 1990 –

“Selected Oroville and Parkfield wave forms are modeled as the fundamental and first higher trapped SH modes of a narrow low-velocity layer at the fault. Modeling results suggest that the Oroville fault zone is 18 meters wide at depth and has a shear wave velocity of 1 kilometer per second, whereas at Parkfield, the fault gouge is 100 to 150 meters wide and has a shear wave velocity of 1.1 to 1.8 kilometers per second. These low-velocity layers are probably the rupture planes on which earthquakes occur...”

MAJOR ALERT! California & Nevada - 10+ Feet of Snowpack melt Flood water possible!!

thornews
Published on May 22, 2017
A combination of 130 inches of Water equivalent in the Sierra Snowpack and record high temperatures in the 90 degree range today and tomorrow, California & Nevada could be facing some major flooding problems in the near future.

I called the snow melt date wrong before but now it is not my conclusion, this information comes from the weather channel.

This is the first time I've seen an estimation of how much water is set to flow into the creeks, rivers, lakes, dams and reservoirs from the Sierra Mountains 130 inches equals 10 feet and 10 inches.

Combine that with the high levels of the Shasta Dam and the problems of the Damaged and closed Oroville Dam spillway and this looks like trouble to me.

I pray I am wrong.

If you live near these areas, I suggest you prepare and stay aware of the situation either way.

God bless everyone,

 T
