Strange things happening on a more regular basis Irene.
That's why I think we should be sure of which are strange things and which are not, so we don't waste time with common events.

Hmmmm okay...

Burning Man Festival... Death Valley

Burning Man festival is an annual event held on a dry lake bed.  In Death Valley... Last year I sold 120 yards of red fabric to a Las Vegas fireman who needed it for a tent at the festival/  I never went, because it was too damn HOT in the Death Valley desert at the end of August...

It is a crazy event on naked modern hippies, steam punk and ravers  Week long event extreme survival thing...

Well that WAS my reality a year ago...

Today I had occasion to discuss it with someone and I said I would love to go but the heat in Death Valley would kill me  :P

At which point I was told "What are you talking about? Burning Man is held in Black Rock Desert in northern Nevada and it gets cold there  70-80 in the day and freezing at night"

WTF?  No way...

So I go look it up online...   well in THIS timeline it IS in Black Rock Desert

Now strange thing is... if you google Burning man Death Valley you will find many hits

Now does ANYONE else remember this event being in Death Valley?

It is a crazy event  would love to go but its 450.00 each admission plus all the equipment and food etc  as there are no stores :P

Now THAT is fascinating   :o

The Blue Brain Project - A Swiss Brain Initiative

Quote
In brief

The goal of the Blue Brain Project is to build biologically detailed digital reconstructions and simulations of the rodent, and ultimately the human brain.

The supercomputer-based reconstructions and simulations built by the project offer a radically new approach for understanding the multilevel structure and function of the brain.

The project's novel research strategy exploits interdependencies in the experimental data to obtain dense maps of the brain, without measuring every detail of its multiple levels of organization (molecules, cells, micro-circuits, brain regions, the whole brain).

This strategy allows the project to build digital reconstructions (computer models) of the brain at an unprecedented level of biological detail.

Supercomputer-based simulation of their behavior turns understanding the brain into a tractable problem, providing a new tool to study the complex interactions within different levels of brain organization and to investigate the cross-level links leading from genes to cognition.

I remember discussion on here about the Burning Man festival; I also have memory of a fellow named Robert Lazar being involved in it heavily years ago, with posted pics here on the forum and possibly the living moon.

edit to add: I seem to have my wires crossed; I found the articles on Desert Blast which was Bob Lazar and Gene Huff, but I could have sworn Bob was also involved in Burning Man and that it was in Death Valley; Desert Blast was in Nevada...

I don't remember where it takes place, but I do remember that it was not Death Valley.

Burning Man - Wikipedia
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burning_Man
One of the roots of the annual event now known as Burning Man began as a bonfire ritual on the summer solstice in 1986 when Larry Harvey, Jerry James, and a few friends met on Baker Beach in San Francisco and burned a 9-foot (2.7-meter) wooden man as well as a smaller wooden dog.

True, because it definitely doesn't fit with my memory most of the time, spins me out so I try not to think it about cuz I have enough to think about atm.

Well the problem with "looking it up" is that when you look it up you are getting the results from THIS timeline and not from the timeline that many of us remember.

IF the reality for many people has changed then no amount of looking things up in THIS timeline is going to solve anything.  People who have not experienced the change  will just keep trying to say we are crazy and "go look it up"

I find it difficult to understand why this is so hard to understand

So far we have already found a photo in a member's album that has the JC Penny spelling and we have the Disney with Tinkerbell dotting the I in a game show video background  so SOME trace of our reality has survived... which in itself is a very IMPORTANT factor

I will tell you one thing that is burned into my memory.

When I was a kid we used to watch Disney on Sunday nights and Tinker Bell Always dotted something with her wand.  :P

Seeker thur many years and many posts and pm conversations I felt that I have been privileged to call you friend.
I feel deeply for your hardships at this time but I know you will survive because that’s just who you are

some of us speak of our lives to share and some of us don’t..it’s all good..but we are all trying to survive as best as we can
I wish for you all that you would wish for yourself..may you be blessed with all you need or want
