Wild China
« on: February 25, 2012, 10:05:44 pm »
The BBC recently did a 6 part series called 'Wild China' which I found fascinating.

So far, I have only found part 4 on YT -

all 6 parts are well worth the watch.

It truly is wild with the past and recent discoveries of
LOTS of pyramids and Megalithic structures in China, too, including that one.......what was it some kind of wall? ::)
http://www.unexplainedearth.com/xian.php
Another thing about the pyramids and megaliths in China and the surrounding countries, is they are almost always covered with earth.

Why would the Chinese and the Indonesians do that, and few else around the world did?
http://www.philipcoppens.com/china_pyr.html
Coppens has a pretty good theory on that one here.

Thanks for the cool posts on cool subjects Sky, and it's nice to banter with you!
Cheers!

I tried what you suggested and still only get short clips. If you use the filter - show only those longer than 20 mins - only episode 4 appears.

(each episode is 59 mins)

Shangri-La
 Episode 2 of 6

Duration: 1 hour

Documentary that brings pioneering images that capture the dazzling array of mysterious and wonderful creatures that live in China's most beautiful landscapes.
Beneath billowing clouds, in China's far south west, rich jungles nestle below towering peaks. Jewel-coloured birds and ancient tribes share forested valleys where wild elephants still roam. These remote forests stretch into northern territories where normally deserts would be found. How do these forests exist? Perhaps the rugged landscape holds the key.  < Show less

Ive been enjoying it, too, Undo, and i find China fascinating in an undiscovered sense, due to the enormous number of unfound artifacts that await us there!
A peaceful place that I could easily assimilate into, if I wasnt a pasty, 6 foot, 200 pound white boy!
Enjoy the rest, as I am watching now on the Big screen thanks to slingbox!
Cheers! and thanks for the videos guys!
