Peer-Reviewed Study: Fukushima Xenon Radiation 2.5 Times Chernobyl | HNN – Higgins News Network

May 14, 2015
A peer-reviewed study of actual measured Fukushima radiation releases disputes many media and junk science reports, putting Xenon at 2.5 times Chernobyl.

A peer-reviewed scientific study has reveals that the Fukushima nuclear power has released far more radiation than TEPCO and Japan even admit are on site at Fukushima.

The study also shows several alarming things:

TEPCO’s estimates of the radioactive releases from Fukushima using “simulations” were many times off from actual observed levels of radioactivity released plant.

“…Total Xenon-133 emissions are 16.7 EBz, 1/3 more than the estimated inventory of the site, and 2.5 times the estimated Chernobyl release of 6.5 EBq…” “which is the largest radioactive noble gas release in history not associated with nuclear bomb testing.”

“The entire noble gas inventory of reactor units 1–3 was set free into the atmosphere between 11 and 15 March 2011…” which was covered up by TEPCO, Japan, and the US. To this day they still dispute “complete” meltdowns at some of the reactors.

The Total cesium they could measured was “about 42 % of the estimated Chernobyl emission…” which clearly shows repeated “estimates” of cesium being 1/8th or less are entirely inaccurate.… “emissions were not only coming from the damaged reactor cores, but also from the spent-fuel pool of unit 4…”

“The plume covered large parts of central-eastern Honshu and crossed over Tokyo and other major population centers”, then “the plume penetrated inland, and covered large areas of eastern Japan…”, and the plume traveled “directly across Tokyo and even further south to Osaka, and Tokyo received an elevated Cesium 137 depositing”

“The first radioactive cloud reached western North America on 15 March”, “that all of western North America was engulfed by the Fukushima plume, as well as parts of eastern North America” and by “22 March 2011, the plume had covered the entire Northern Hemisphere”.

“Consequently, Cesium 137 deposits in March was considerable for large parts of eastern Japan” and the “Japanese main island received 5.0TBq of Cesium 137, or 19% of the total released, through 20 April”

“…During the accident events, Xenon-133 and Cesium 137 were dispersed throughout the Northern Hemisphere” and “eventually also reached the Southern Hemisphere…”

There IS something other than politics.  :P

Published on Feb 20, 2016

The Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster was an energy accident at the Fukushima I Nuclear Power Plant, initiated primarily by the tsunami of the T?hoku earthquake on 11 March 2011.[6]

The damage caused by the tsunami produced equipment failures, and without this equipment a loss-of-coolant accident followed with three nuclear meltdowns and releases of radioactive materials beginning on 12 March.[7]

It is the largest nuclear disaster since the Chernobyl disaster of 1986 and the second disaster (after Chernobyl) to be given the Level 7 event classification of the International Nuclear Event Scale.[8]

The plant comprised six separate boiling water reactors originally designed by General Electric (GE) and maintained by the Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO). At the time of the earthquake, reactors 4, 5 and 6 were shut down in preparation for re-fueling.[9] However, their spent fuel pools still required cooling.[10] Immediately after the earthquake, the electricity producing reactors 1, 2 and 3 automatically shut down their sustained fission reactions, inserting control rods in what is termed a SCRAM. Following this legally mandated "safety precaution" which ceases the reactors' normal running conditions, the reactors were unable to generate power to run their own coolant pumps.

Emergency diesel generators came online, as designed, to power electronics and coolant systems, all of which operated right up until the tsunami destroyed the generators for reactors 1–5 due to their location in unhardened low-lying areas. The two generators cooling reactor 6 were undamaged and were sufficient to be pressed into service to cool the neighboring reactor 5 along with their own reactor, averting the overheating issues that reactor 4 suffered.(10)

However, sometimes politics and cover-ups go hand-in-hand.   :o

Robert, thank you for the kind words. You are always such a gentleman.    ;)

It's really a sad commentary on the attention level of the sheeple (ironically, this ties into your conversation with Irene...lol) that virtually no one is smart enough nor recognizes the life-threatening dangers involved with the triple melt-throughs at Fukushima that continue releasing radionuclides 24/7/365 that are poisoning the entire planet. Even though TPTB/nuclear cartel have accomplished a virtual blackout in the MSM - the word FUK U SHIMA does not exist in the present-day lexicon of the controlled press.

Actually, that man was Galen Winsor (1926-2008) Nuclear Power Plant Designer / Manager 1960's-70's who claims he swam in the nuclear Power Plant Cooling Pools.

And this.

Galen Winsor is a nuclear physicist of renown who worked at, and
helped design, nuclear power plants in Hanford, WA; Oak Ridge, TN;
Morris, IL, San Jose, CA; Wimington, NJ. Among his positions of
expertise he was in charge of measuring and controlling the nuclear
fuel inventory and storage.

Galen Winsor has traveled and lectured all over America, spoken on
national talk radio, and made several videos exposing the
misunderstood issues of nuclear radiation. He shows that fear of
radiation has been exaggerated to scare people … so a few powerful
people can maintain total control of the world’s most valuable power
resource. Filmed by Ben Williams in 1986.

In the video, you can watch Galen lick a pile of highly radioactive
uranium off the palm of his hand and ignite a chunk of plutonium into
a shower of flaming dust. The guy also drank reactor cooling pool
water for fun and liked to go swimming in the pool to relax. He also
spiked the basement flooring of his own home with enough radioactive
material to send any Geiger counter reading off the scale to disprove
the fear mongering surrounding radon at the time.

Galen surmises the regulations and fear mongering that surround
radioactive materials are in place to prevent the widespread adoption
of nuclear power in local small scale neighborhood/home based
reactors. Galen also points out that hot nuclear “waste” can be
effectively turned into a safe power source through thermionic
conversion, which is how the U.S. submarine navigation network was
powered. The heat it gives off can also be used to safely heat homes.

He points out that nuclear “waste” is worth roughly $10 million (in
1986 dollars) a ton if it were to be reprocessed to collect its useful
isotopes, so all of this talk about trying to bury it is a sham.

He says the power companies are holding all the waste with the intent of
playing the plutonium futures market. The “waste” could be stored
above ground in already constructed buildings meeting all the
regulatory requirements without the need to have these outrageous
basalt mines dug into mountains. The only reason he can think of for
these underground vaults is to hide bodies/evidence that the state
doesn’t want uncovered.

At its core, he says federal controls over nuclear material is about
maintaining power and control over the masses through the denial of
self-sufficient power sources. Obviously if one had a personal sized
power source that was cheap and efficient, they wouldn’t need to be
connected to the “grid” for anything. The power grid is the control
grid our rulers use to keep us under their thumbs.

He also says Three Mile Island was an intentionally created disaster,
and that a core meltdown could not melt its way deep into the Earth.

-------------------------------------------------

"Yeah I've met him.

I put him in the Bob Lazar school of stunt showmanship.

Idiots can do all those things.

They won't die immediately from them.

He rambles way too much and is about as welcome these days as a
copperhead at a picnic . The nuclear industry used him as a stunt
dummy to try to dispel the dangers in nuclear power.

To no avail. The folks they were trying to reach had few brains
anyway.
Besides any moron could break free of rational thought in the
sixties.

It's no big mystery but you can swim in a triga reactor pool
provided you don't dive. They run at low power usually..about 1 watt
to preserve the fuel rods. People have fallen in and survived with
little damage.

If you look at any training reactor site you will find rescue rings all over.
Most triga reactor have pools that are in the 15 foot range at 1 watt;
the neutron range is low, say 3 - 4 feet max.

Spent rods about the same risk!

Most intact spent fuel rods emit mostly beta particles with some gamma
rays. Betas can be effectively be stopped by two feet or less of
water. The water is distilled in rod storage pools and beta and gamma
irradiation does not screw up the water one little bit! The only thing
that would make that water un-potable is if the fuel rod had cracked
releasing raw fissile products into the water.

Ala Silkwood!

Most waste pools are 20 feet deep... so swimming on the surface would
be a fairly safe stunt. Even with the glowing stuff below.

Gotta keep the kids safe ya know!

Low quantities of uranium oxide is pretty harmless if un-irradiated.
You can't dissolve uranium oxide in stomach acid...takes fuming red
nitric to do the trick. In a few days you have radioactive poo.

Just as dangerous as eating dirt in Arizona or Colorado.

It's the lungs not the gut where the highest risk occurs.

The lungs can not expel tiny particulates under a micron. ...."

Can you substantiate your claim that he died of leukemia at 82? Or is this just another one of those lies that go around the internet?

He is my grandfather. He died from Parkinsons. Completely unrelated to radiation.

Can radiation be linked to Parkinson's?

In the late 1970's at a Nevada air force base, a technician accidentally exposed airman Dan Hott to a great deal of radiation, perhaps the greatest amount ever any American has received.

Dan's wife, Angie, of Berkeley Springs, W. Va., said, "Dan was radiated in the head at a rate much higher than test animals have received. He said he felt the right side of his head behind the ear heat up.

The doctor (looking him over) said he didn't know what would happen to Dan over the years, but urged him to keep the documentation (about his exposure)."

Now fast forward to 2007, when Dan was experiencing a number of physical challenges. His left arm and legs were cramping up. He dragged his left leg, and often walked like he "had been drinking alcohol," said Angie.

He was experiencing fatigue and taking naps throughout the day.

Angie realized something was really wrong when her grandmother asked Dan to slice the Thanksgiving turkey and he physically couldn't with his left hand.

In June 2008, a neurologist diagnosed Dan with Parkinson's disease. Eventually, he became so affected he would lose his business, career, income level and more physical functioning.

The National Institutes of Health describes Parkinson's disease as a "movement disorder" causing limb and face trembling, limb and trunk stiffness, slow movement, and poor balance and coordination.

It can lead to trouble walking, talking, swallowing, speaking, and chewing.

Dan had been a successful, self-employed environmental engineer. In part, through his business, he designed remediation systems for gasoline stations that had spills.

Said Angie, "Dan's neurologist now thinks it's more than likely he ended up with Parkinson's disease because of having been exposed to the radiation." However, the Hotts have had trouble persuading the Veterans Administration, which has significantly limited Dan's benefits.

Angie has done lots of research on the connection between Parkinson's disease and radiation. For example, she discovered a Department of Defense study from the early 2000's in which the government radiated test animals to see whether they would acquire Parkinson's disease.

The amount of radiation, said Angie, was far less than the level to which Dan had been exposed.

Angie also spoke with a University of California scientist who believed no other living American had been exposed to radiation levels higher than Dan's.

I have noticed a couple of things that disturb me personally.  One was the San Onofre  power plant in California.  That thing looked like it was ready for the scrap heap, and it's sitting right in the path of a possible tsunami.  The other, is the incidence of diabetes in former nuclear workers an uranium miners.  It also seems to happen to coal miners.  In all these cases that I have seen, pneumoconiosis was the primary diagnosis.  Every one of the men had inhaled dust from the job for years.  These were men who worked at Rocky Flats, or in the uranium mining industry, or the coal mining industry.  The DOL is still fighting against paying benefits to people who were told that they were doing their patriotic duty.  And many of these people are living a lot longer than the DOL would like.  The medical benefits are payable for life, and many of the claimants require 24 hour a day private duty nursing care.  I have nothing to back my idea beyond my intuition, but the prevalence of diabetes and lung disease together seems odd to me.

Diabetes could be a result of something affecting the pancreas, could it be that something is affecting it, besides the lungs?

I've seen plenty of people with lung ailments and plenty of people with diabetes.  But everyone I've known who specifically had pneumoconiosis, also had type II diabetes.  They had all worked in occupations that put them at risk of pneumoconiosis.  At least two in that group went on to develop bladder cancer.  It just seems an odd synchronicity to me.

Maybe it's the other way and diabetes makes people more likely to suffer from pneumoconiosis.
