                                              AMAZING 'FLOPPY DISC' GAME

If you are a geriatric like me, you will remember what a 'floppy disc' is ;)
In this case, the 3rd generation 3 1/2" discs, which held 1.44 Mb in HD format (microsoft) and 780Kb (!) in DD format (Amiga).

There were some very smart nerdy types who managed to crunch programs into an incredibly tiny space. The ringtones on modern smartphones use about 3 times this amount of memory!.

Here is one such example, it's a simple DOS game, can be played on any system, and will keep you busy for months. It is about 480Kb.....
You will see how old it is when you get the super lo-res screen :D
If you still have a CRT type monitor, it may make a noise as it switches into 'ancient' mode  ;D

The rules of the game are simple, it's moving crates in the cellar, you can only push them, not pull, so if you push one into a corner, you are finished.
You can only push one crate at a time.
You can rectify mistakes, using the 'Oeps!' button (1 move back) otherwise it's back to the start of that level, and there are about 60 of them (!)
The crates have to end up on the green squares and sometimes it's a lot of walking to & fro to get one round a corner ;) All the time, your cigar smoking boss is at the bottom of the screen, getting hot under the collar....
You can use mouse or cursor controls, even a joystick!
There's no time limit, but you do get more points for finishing quickly.
See if you can beat my high score (yes that's in there as well).

It's in Dutch, so i will translate a few words:

'Opnieuw' means 'start again'(you will be using this one quite often) :)

'Nivo' means 'level', you can zap straight to any level you want, but i advise you to start at 1

'Oeps' means 'Oops', this is your 'one chance' button (you can use it many times, in fact).

'Einde' means 'End', as if you hadn't figured that out ;), then choose 'Ja' to quit the game.

Simply create a 'floppy game' folder, and download all the bits below into it.
To start the game, click on the empty blue 'Kistje' icon (marked as 'application')
Enjoy yourselves!
