Ah Nostalgia   :D

I love the pipes....

And just in time as I get WAR FEVER :D

Estrella War 2014 all booked and ready to go as soon as I get a new tent.

Here is an older picture, Estrella War 1999

That was a very Political event LOL It was a time when Zorgon was invited to lead the King of Caid onto the battlefield. It pissed off the local Barony expecially since it was being filmed for an SCA documentary :D

Ah  the goode olde dayes... soon to return now that I have wheels :D

The then King of Caid  (looks like Obama :P but was a really cool guy :D )

Thanks guys, I went back through this thread and listened to some of these all over again.  The pipes are very soothing to me.
From the past into the future any way I can...Educating...informing....guiding.

These are not from Scotland, but from Portugal, as they are a traditional instrument in the north of the country and in Galicia, in Spain, just on the other side of the Minho river.

Nice stuff you guys.

Very surprising Armap, I did not know you guys had drum and pipes bands.

The composition of the band looks the same as UK and South African corps.

Great performance.

Some people say it's a Celtic tradition, as some Celtic people migrated to the Iberian Peninsula and mixed their culture with the culture of the people already living here.

Some other people say it's more of an European tradition, as there very old references to bagpipes in almost all European countries.
