History Erased - A New Topic to Dig Into

Going to start this one off with a video by Glenn Beck.

Ignore the title (he was really fired for exposing the Federal Reserve)  but focus on the items and lets go find them :D

Z, this is a pretty interesting subject - one I have not heard about before!

I have just started researching a bit, and here is a little more info presented in an Amazon book sales piece.

And here is another piece about The Bat Creek Stone, by J. Huston McCulloch, with subject matter - Cherokee or Hebrew! Surely Hebrew but Masonic? Or is it Welsh Coelbren? Where it's at. Petrographic Analysis.

I am concerned about about copyright, so I am just posting the link.

http://www.econ.ohio-state.edu/jhm/arch/batcrk.html

One point of interest relative to the inscription - the 1st inscription mark on the left is basically shaped like a cross, as is the single inscription below the others.

And likely as with most any subject like this, there are differing opinions, and here is one such publication. I am simply posting this for assurance of our a full record of existing thought on the Bat Creek Stone subject

THE BAT CREEK FRAUD: A FINAL STATEMENT
Robert C. Mainfort, Jr., and Mary L. Kwas
Tennessee Anthropologist Vol. XVIII, No. 2, Fall 1993
"Back off, man! I'm a scientist."
(Dr. Peter Venkman, Ghostbusters, 1984)
Reproduced with permission from The Tennessee Anthropologist

Introduction
Debate over the so-called Bat Creek stone and related issues has monopolized a substantial amount of journal space that could have more profitably been used for scholarly articles in the field of anthropology, rather than fantasy. Unfortunately, the Tennessee Anthropologist now has the dubious distinction of catapulting the stone into some degree of national notoriety (McCulloch 1993b). We regret imposing again upon the editor and readers, but the recent attack on us in this journal leaves little choice.
Since we would have preferred not to publish additional commentary on this matter, we will simply cut to the heart of the matter and refer readers to previous articles for background material (Mainfort and Kwas 1991; McCulloch 1988).

As painful as the truth is, religion hid almost everything. The Vatican shuffles the truth down in their dungeons away from the little people. The world operates by deception, lies and obscurity.

The Church writes reality along with Quackedamia, Occult Government and the Corporate alien MONSTERS.

Glenn Beck revealed it all, long ago it seems. Right after he began to expose the hidden truths, he was attacked and finally exiled from fox time. Now fox is nothing but a talking head for the Corporate spin machines lies.

Old Murdock got his azz nailed and turned to the dark side.

Funny that they say "Hebrew" instead of "Phoenician", and that's exactly what it looks like.

I didn't look at the other things, but is the slope of the great pyramid really 51.8º? I don't think so.

Well NOVA says 51.5º

I will have to look it up in the Smyth book

This one says 52º  But I have some issues with this one :P

This one says 53º  comparing it to a water mollecule... :P

51º51"

Here is one at 51.84º

I suppose some confusion exists between decimal points of a degree and minutes of a degree

Seems no one is exactly sure

The Los Lunas Decalog Stone ----- From wiki - this finding also has considerable support as being real, with some also claiming "hoax". This one is a little different from the others posted thus far, as this Los Lunas rock weighs 80 tons, and thus has not been moved from where it was originally found.

The Los Lunas Decalogue Stone is a large boulder on the side of Hidden Mountain, near Los Lunas, New Mexico, about 35 miles (56 km) south of Albuquerque, that bears a very regular inscription carved into a flat panel.[1] The stone is also known as the Los Lunas Mystery Stone or Commandment Rock. The inscription is interpreted to be an abridged version of the Decalogue or Ten Commandments in a form of Paleo-Hebrew.[2] A letter group resembling the tetragrammaton YHWH, or "Yahweh," makes three appearances. The stone is controversial in that some claim the inscription is Pre-Columbian, and therefore proof of early Semitic contact with the Americas.[3]

The first recorded mention of the stone is in 1933, when the late professor Frank Hibben (1910-2002), an archaeologist from the University of New Mexico, saw it.[4] According to a 1996 interview, Hibben was "convinced the inscription is ancient and thus authentic. He report[ed] that he first saw the text in 1933. At the time it was covered with lichen and patination and was hardly visible. He was taken to the site by a guide who had seen it as a boy, back in the 1880s."[5] However, Hibben's testimony is tainted by charges that in at least two separate incidents, he fabricated some or all of his archaeological data to support his pre-Clovis migration theory.[6][7][8]

The reported 1880s date of discovery is important to those who believe that the stone is pre-Columbian. However, the Paleo-Hebrew script, which is closely related to the Phoenician script, was well known by at least 1870, thus not precluding the possibility of a modern hoax.[9]

I followed this from the Stone page at Wiki.  "The inscription is interpreted to be an abridged version of the Decalogue or Ten Commandments in a form of Paleo-Hebrew."   I think that explains what they are doing. I can see Jews not wanting to be called Phoenicians  LOL

The Paleo-Hebrew alphabet (Hebrew: ???? ????? ?????), also spelt Palaeo-Hebrew alphabet, is a variant of the Phoenician alphabet. Like the Phoenician alphabet, the Paleo-Hebrew alphabet contains 22 letters, all of which are consonants, and is described as an abjad. The term was coined by Solomon Birnbaum in 1954 who wrote "To apply the term Phoenician to the script of the Hebrews is hardly suitable".

Archeological evidence of the use of the script by the Israelites for writing the Hebrew language dates to around the 10th century BCE. The Paleo-Hebrew alphabet began to fall out of use by the Jews in the 5th century BCE when the Aramaic alphabet was adopted as the predominant writing system for Hebrew, from which the present Jewish "square-script" Hebrew alphabet evolved. The Samaritans, who now number less than one thousand people, have continued to use a derivative of the Paleo-Hebrew alphabet, known as the Samaritan alphabet.
