unless someone develops a way to separate the mass into small enough pieces to not sustain critical mass it is what it is...
With a bomb? ;D

I wonder if we have anyone here in the forum that lives in California that owns or has access to a geiger counter?  Perhaps obtain some readings from beach areas.

I was planning to buy one for minerals just before Fuku... was $98.00 for a professional one  Now that save one is $598.00

We cannot stop it... At Chernobyl the reaction mass mixed with the sand around the reactor vessel and formed Corium as it is called, but now it appears to be in the process of destabilizing...

The sarchopagus they built over Chernobyl was meant to be temporary to last 25 years. It has been up 50 years and is crumbling. They are currently building a new one to cover the whole thing

Yes the Corium will soon change state again and once more generate heat enough that may even cause fission. Don't forget that the Earths core is kept molten by radiation decay

Chernobyl will be 'HOT' for about 100,000 years. The Plutonium at the Nevada Test Center has a half life of about 25,000 years

They are building the new cover away from the plant and then roll the sections into place

GQ GMC-320 Geiger Counter Nuclear Radiation Detector Data Recorder Beta Gamma Ray Detection

Doesn't measure alpha but comes rated pretty good.  I don't have the money for anything expensive.  Unless I win the lottery here in Florida ;) ;)

I am not understanding why they don't build concrete structures over the area of Fukushima.  It does not seem like they know what they are doing.  I know it would take a lot of concrete and even cause shortages but it's better than just letting it continue.  We can't reverse what is done but need to contain it.

The human species obviously has NO control over the situation at all....   :(

Need to go back to the "Processing System" all is produced by and presented in,
as our individual experiences.

Time to learn !

A little editing of the program is required.   8)

The most profitable action humans can take is to study this "Processing System", so they can edit
this "Environmental Program" ....   :o

Any other approach has failed before one even starts.... :(  History proves this.

LOL....

Now that's ONE option...

But personally, I rather enjoy "Experiencing" this Oldie Primate.... In spite of its suffering...

Just think IF you delete the Program NO Woman or Drinkies for "Z"   :'(

OR Me....

Besides you are a KING.....

NOT so Practical to "DELETE" it....

We have that "Round Table" to Explore all possibilities...  :)

I am not understanding why they don't build concrete structures over the area of Fukushima

becaues the ground beneath is fractured

Quote
It does not seem like they know what they are doing.

yeah and that :P

Here is a steel wall they say they are building to stop the leaking tanks from going out to sea... but when the tanks are full they just release them anyway The morons

"The man in charge of the clean-up at Japan’s Fukushima nuclear plant says growing stores of contaminated water from the site will eventually have to be dumped into the sea.

In an exclusive interview with the ABC, the chairman of the Fukushima Monitoring Committee, Dale Klein, has also admitted there are likely to be more blunders and slip-ups at the plant in the months and years to come."

But a few months ago the sea was boiling...

This is where the Corium is now

http://www.economic-undertow.com/category/fukushima/

When the Corium hit the ground water below  that cause the sea water to boil as they are connected

Quote
We can't reverse what is done but need to contain it.

Can't... the ground is to unstable and fracked beneath and has direct access to the sea.

Sadly no matter what we add to both the atmosphere or the land it ends up in the sea eventually....

This why, no matter what we do, (other than finding out more about the Processing System) is futile.   :(

We were/are meant to learn this lesson, but perhaps the species doesn't want to learn
and puts $$$$$ 1st before anything else ?

Its NOT the $$$$$$ which is the problem, but those who introduced the $$$$$$$
and the use of $$$$$$$ ....

You would think after thousands of years, we being intelligent would have learnt this Lesson ?

Apparently we still haven't ?
