Japan Is Dying Off

This tells me Japan is finished, done.  At some point, someone will add robot sex to the whole thing to complete the process. The peril of AI.......

This tells me the people that wrote the article had a specific thing in their mind and didn't look at the real data they presented.

A reduced birthrate doesn't mean a sex problem, it means a birth problem.

It's already being done.

Go deeper and yes, they do have a sex problem in that sexuality is traditionally supposed to provide some social glue or bonding in society - and often that isn't happening.  And now sex robots or digital companions are thrown into the mix.

I can't comment on that, as I do not live there and I don't know anyone that lives there. Do you?

I can read stats on relationships there or the decline therein. The posted link even mentions a few.

Relationships? I thought we were talking about sex.

I could only see one, apparently limited to people between 18 and 34 years old. Too bad they don't include a link to the study, partial data can be as misleading as wrong data.

The Mystery of Why Japanese People Are Having So Few Babies

Many point to unromantic 20-somethings and women’s entry into the workforce, but an overlooked factor is the trouble young men have in finding steady, well-paid jobs.

TOKYO—Japan’s population is shrinking. For the first time since the government started keeping track more than a century ago, there were fewer than 1 million births last year, as the country’s population fell by more than 300,000 people. The blame has long been put on Japan’s young people, who are accused of not having enough sex, and on women, who, the narrative goes, put their careers before thoughts of getting married and having a family.

One of the problems in Japan is the taboos on sexual activity  so they turn to hentai and Sex dolls :P

Japan's falling birth rate posing serious problems for economy

The shrinking of the country’s population – deaths have outpaced births for several years – is already affecting the economy in areas including the job and housing markets, consumer spending and long-term investment plans at businesses.

For now, the Japanese economy is growing despite a dwindling number of workers and consumers. Growing global demand for Japanese products is one reason. But the real decline has barely begun.

In a speech to business leaders this week, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe called for a “national movement” to address Japan’s demographic challenges. The government has taken steps to keep older workers in their jobs longer, and to encourage companies to invest in automation. “The labour shortage is getting serious,” he said. “To overcome it, we need to improve productivity.”

personally I blame VIDEO GAMES :P  When we started the Renaissance guild it was just at the strat of the game craze  so people still went out to do things in groups. When you do things in grroups you meet real people and form real relationships..

Today you see they cannot even talk to each other at a restaurant without having to text  So cell phones, social media and video games keep them in their own little caves  and so far cyber sex doesn't produce babies :P

Well, I suppose they could follow that path. :)

Japan will test the full on, gonzo, no hold barred simulacrum of a sexual/personal relationship.

God help us all.  A more restrictive culture like Russia or China could survive while the west revels in 3-D self pleasuring with robots.  Not with a bang but a whimper.  Identity politics could gain a power no one ever imagined.

Happy 2018 Livingmoon Folke!

Regarding all this wild speculation regarding Japan...Check out Private Debt to GDP ratios.  When people like YOU or ME hold excessive debt, low birthrate occurs.

Might I remind you dickhead's that Japan is your VERY Good Friend!

 :P

Here is an Experiment I would love to see any person from Northern America take apart in who has never travelled to Asia:

-Take a holiday in any part of Asia except China

- Then immerse your self in Hong Kong Airport.

-Ask yourself after doing that if the Japanese are friged as is suggested in other words in this thread?

A reduced birthrate doesn't mean a sex problem, it means a birth problem.

It might be a stereotype, but in my observation, Japanese women are among the most sexually averse on the planet.  I could well believe that there is both a sexual AND birthrate problem in the country.

-How much does it cost to have a baby in 2018 located in countries where we post from?

-We are once again comparing differing financial eras.

I was going to end this post on a note regarding males discussing what Japanese women want... Then I remembered a Sushi Shop here in Melbourne that is world class run by Japanese.  I recall the story's my friend told me of the girl who is a family daughter of said shop he knew who had an affair with a certain guy. I Heard the story about a guy who met a Malaysian...

I can only speak for myself... If you cannot find some sex or a willing relationship regardless of your nation or skin colour then you're doing something wrong and need to think a bit and maybe add concessions to your list!  I only spent a week in Japan and I experienced some flirty women who knew I was taken.

GO FORTH AND BREED IF YOU CAN!
