Anyone who knows's me will attest to my rabid love of Radio in Melbourne Oz.  We really do have awesome radio here!

Anyway I heard an amazing Death Metal Song today that deserves attention...

Morbid Angel - Opening of the Gates

It's an old song, but yeah it kick's arse !

Morbid Angel are one of the oldest and best in that genre. :)

Although they play a different type of music this reminded me of Cradle of Filth, a band I like mostly because of how the singer changes his voice.

And this one reminded me of another singer that knows how to work her voice, Angela Gossow, former vocalist of Arch Enemy.

Another example of how a good music can be played in almost any style. :)

The original, from 1986.

Gun's version, from 1994.

Korn's version, from 2004.

I love Korn's and Cameo's version; although I gotta say I haven't heard the middle group's version.

We have similar tastes ArMap.
I know that I know nothing - thanks Capricorn.

Gun is a Scottish band that had some success in the late 1980s and the beginning of the 1990s. The song below is my favourite, and, to me, the best version they had of this song was an acoustic version played on a Portuguese radio show.

I heard about it last week, if I'm not mistaken.

We have lost so many singers and musicians in the last two years, sometimes I wonder what the songs of the future will be. :(

I suppose I'm getting old.  :P
