"Audio recording device" as in independent piece of hardware?

I don't know about these things (besides what I just saw as the result of some searches :) ), but I think things are easier than that, but I may be completely wrong. :)

easier sounds good. got an example?

Not really, as this is something new to me, but if you can get all the audio on the computer then I don't see why it should be more complex than just send it to some specific site (I suppose you don't have enough bandwidth to broadcast to many people) that would do the broadcasting.

well you can stream live to a server which then serves it up to your website and when people either click the link to hear it, or load the page, however you have it set, they can hear the radio program.
2 ways to do it, live and not live.

like the title says.  i have some interesting software options to turn skype recordings into a live stream for like a radio show. so far, all the applications are free to use.  however, if we wanted to allow listeners to call in, we would need to buy a skype number for $5/a year

About time you came back to that :D  $5.00 a year  no issue

Well since you dont like testosterone.let me pour a bath of it on you.embrace the testosterone.lol.
Why not a 12 hour streaming news show.most would be the same news .just rehashed .plus guest.compete with the big boys.
Since its not on broadcast antenna.you dont have to be a wimp like fox.
The daily list of guest and schedule on front page like dr.who has.

Lets face it.radio is good but how many new members is it bringing in?
I say we go after the big boys like aj and oreilly.
Yes i agree start out small until the bugs get worked out.then go for the juggular.
Another thing we need is a work schedule for all members who wish to be involved.if we had a schedule then we are obligated and expected.easier to plan our other responsibilities in life.
But i will help where i can .just ask.
ive never been much for rules.

hey can someone help for a moment with remote desktop settings?
i want to remotely connect to amy's desktop.  i have her ip address in the remote desktop connection.  i have firewall allowing remote connections.  i have her login and password. she has firewall allowing remote. she has remote desktop turned on.  we both have passwords.  i push the connect button, it pops up a login box, with a password box. i input her  password. press connect, it thinks about it, then reboots itself to not having a password in the box and doesn't explain why

i solved it by downloading the free for personal use version of teamviewer

whew.  problem was, it started a feed back loop. so the minute her desktop popped up on my side, the screen started to duplicate over and over again.   i'm guessing this means, she should not be connecting to my desktop and i should only be connecting to hers but if she doesn't connect to mine, how will i be able to access it?  i is confuzzled.

off i go to read. it's probably something simple.

Teamviewer is what I use. :)

I don't think there's any program that avoids that feedback problem.

yeah the solution was to only boot my side up. otherwise, i was looking at her desktop and she was looking at my desktop which was looking at her desktop which was looking at my desktop, etc. lol

I know how to do this so that you have control of the venue rather than using another service. I tried to get the Z interested

YES? or NO?

I can turn you on to free live broadcast. Skype call in is free to a skype number. I have windows software to live broadcast from the local PC to the online radio station to listeners. If you want live video and audio, thats another story.

It is required, if you want to know any technical difficulties while on air, to either have a chatroom open for listeners to fill with nonsense and complain if the station is nixed by the NSA so no one can hear the program.

Mixxx, butt, edcast are broadcast clients for windows and are free.
