Incredibly dull and predictable.

PKD is dead and even he is snoring through this one.

The original WAS and IS a Classic.
Story & script was original and cinematography was ahead of it's time.

2049 was overbearingly TEDIOUS.....

I realise this is sacrilege, but I consider the original Blade Runner overrated, to be honest.  The music and some of the visuals are impressive, but it depicts a thoroughly sick and dystopian society; not one that I would remotely want to live in.  It's the sort of Godless, creepingly omnicidal scenario which makes me wish I'd been born at the beginning of the Age of Pisces (when Jesus was alive, roughly) rather than Aquarius.

The main thing I liked besides the story and special effects was Rutger Hauer's acting and his character. Meeting his maker and trying to find a way to extend life and in the end destroying his creator and himself in the process....great acting....

I agree. Hauer kind of fell off the map though. He's doing a bit of "B" movie work. He hasn't aged well. Too much time in the sun, I think.

One of the stupidest movies I've ever seen. I can't for the life of me understand how this thing won the Best Picture Oscar. It's sh*t.

Hollywood has died an inglorious death.

He was in Batman Begins, as the caretaker of Wayne Enterprises.  It wasn't a big role, but he got one comedic line, which I thought he delivered well.
