John Lear Air Conditioner

Air Conditioner

Its the middle of the summer here in Las Vegas, daytime temperatures reach 110 degrees, night time up to 88 degrees and my livingroom/kitchen air conditioner goes belly up. The AC company offers to plug the leak of ac gas but find there are too many and the air conditioner is too old.

So what to do? I am in the middle of obtaining or rather trying to obtain a refi as the Bank of America mortgage payment was $3800/mo and BoA sold the mortgage to SLS and the payments went to $5300. So I am trying to hang on until I can get a reasonable refi. The only possibility is to buy a new ac. Price: $5500 with installation.

I would appreciate any help in paying for this air conditioner. My father (developer of the 8 track stereo and Learjet) and I didn't get along so he left me out of his will. I have worked as a commercial pilot for the past 40 years but retired at FAA mandatory age 60,  15 years ago. No pension, no retirement.

If I can get the air conditioner paid for I can hang on until the refi comes through.

I am in extremely poor health and cannot walk without the aid of a pushcart. My wife Marilee and I will be extremely grateful for any help, even if its only a few dollars.  The new air conditioner went in yesterday and I had to use the money I was saving for the mortgage payment to pay for it. Anything will help! All the best, John Lear.

For John to ask this was very hard for him...  I tried getting him to set it up some time ago. But with his health and the pain meds, he doesn't always do so well...

Bank of America just sold his mortgage without warning and the new 'owners' bumped the rates. Not sure how that worked but we all recall what happened to Thorfourwind's fight with Bank of America.

That house is too big for the two of them now.  And its very old, still on well water and that old pump needed replacing last year...  They tried getting a new smaller house on Topaz  just down from me, but that deal fell through.

Marilee runs a Casting Agency... but recently Nevada removed the tax incentives for film makers so they stopped coming to Las Vegas

A few year back, John had a Gold Mine claim. Now that mine was NOT producing, it was more of a retreat to get away and many of his friends spent time out there. But thanks to shenanigans from Senator Harry Reid, who deliberately didn't file the renewal John had sent, John lost the rights to the mine and we had to remove all the equipment before the BLM Bulldozers came and leveled the buildings.

This mine was in the same location as the Bundy Ranch, but John didn't have the Oathkeepers defending his land. The mine was a few miles up the road from Bundy Ranch

With Johns legs being as bad as they are, his medical bills have been high, ad medicare only covers 80%...  Both Seeker and myself have issues with our legs as well but I don't take oxycodone for the pain... I can manage with ibuprophen 600 to 800 mg   and it works well. But John had it worse and is trying to get off that nasty narcotic...

So that is a small glimpse into his current life...

Ive heard John mention more than once in interviews that his dad cut him out of the will. I dont think I could do that to my own flesh and blood unless they were a special kind of heinous or drug addict, and neither of those are John

A google search shows bill lears net worth in the millions, he couldnt even throw him a bone? I dont know the story there and no one has to get into details but thats pretty messed up

Im glad to help out John, wish I could do more

I'm very surprised he doesn't get a government pension. I think it's the least they should do for him.

What I have been able to find, seems to indicate that BoA sells a lot of mortgages to SLS.  SLS, then decides, with no proof, that the homeowner does not have insurance, and places their own insurance on the property, causing a major payment increase.  They also seem to be very talented at losing payments, in order to collect more money.  A lot of people have indicated an interest in a class action lawsuit against the company.

I have to say this,

It's a friging disgrace society has come to this (swear filter will kick in)

People could call John Lear many things, but one they cannot call him is being someone who Didn't help people think a bit different.

I will give one case of how far reaching John Lear is:

About 8 or so year's ago when I was living with a friend who happen's to be a person trained in eastern med came home and told me about one patient who IS a GM at a Major Aerospace Company.  My friend was well versed in all this stuff due to me being in my hayday so to speak of questioning the status so he asked this guy some choice question's whilst trying to calm his stress down.  This Guy stated many thing's, but one thing he did state was that he had dinner with John Lear once, he had no bad words to say compared to when asked about Alien's  ( All US MIL ) (Apollo did not go to Moon as that craft was not capable of it)

Honestly, if I posted where this guy work's and his position, and what he has overseen in Civvy space... You would be blown away as you would travel on one of his company's project's trusted to him.

Yeah this dude Rated John Lear...

Yes and until you have the opportunity to actual stand in his den and look at all his awards, you can't understand the real accomplishments.....

Posted this on FB....
John has 2422 so called 'friends' on Facebook...If all gave just $5.00, that would be $12,110.00. Ok so how about $1.00?...No lattes or Big Mac's for one day....Come people......
