WalMart store at some time.

Rumors and speculation is running rampant on the internet about the Walmart store closings.

Independent media hacks are jumping to conclusions ranging from "the stores are being converted to FEMA Camps".

"Closings related to JADE Helm" and many other paranoia-prompting posts can be found on the internet as of this report.

At this point, nobody knows the cause of the sudden store closings.

Pete Santilli & Dani Mcpherson cover the news regarding the mysterious and sudden closure of 5 major Walmart Super Centers.

In addition to the numerous reports in the mainstream and independent media, Pete adds some additional interesting information regarding WalMart's relationship with the Department of Homeland Security dating back to Hurricane Katrina.

In this video Pete displays a picture of WalMart's "EOC" (Emergency Operations Center), and comments about the EOC looking more like an NSA command center.

Pete's family member (brother) worked directly for Walmart Corporate headquarters in Bentonville Arkansas, and informed Pete about WalMart's relationship with the DHS.

During Hurricane Katrina, the DHS coordinated heavily with Walmart since they have the resources to distribute disaster relief supplies.

Since then, Walmart has also worked directly with the DHS by installing pinhole facial recognition cameras in their stores, scanning customers, and uploading/sharing the data with the Federal government.

Hate Wal-Mart or love Wal-Mart, it is a company that provides very needed services to to we the people of this country. Though I am unaware of any reason to "hate" Wal-Mart, I suppose there are some people that have reason to hate most every company in the country! One thing for sure, everything that Wal-Mart is..............is totally because they strivee to satisfy the peoples needs. People wants low prices - - that is why 80% of Wal-Mart suppliers are located in China - then people gripe because Wal-Mart sells products from China. Just no way to please everybody, about everything!! But they do have a 100 million customers per week, so it is pretty clear that Wal-Mart is actually "pretty well liked" by most people!! :)

A bit of interesting info on Wal-Mart:

Farmers all over the world have been pushed into poverty by the likes of Walmart.  They have too much buying power and too much of the market.  As a consequence they can dictate prices so much that farmers have to sell up to massive multi-nationals and super farms.  Big Capitalism is not healthy for small business owners or working people.

They also keep wages down where they operate by having a virtual monopoly now most of the competition is gone or in a Cartel with them.

UPDATE: Questions Swirl Over Bizarre Walmart Closures

Theories are flying after Walmart stores around the country suddenly announced that they were closing down for six months to deal with "plumbing" issues.

Employees and customers are not buying Walmart’s explanation that it is closing five nationwide stores for six months due to “plumbing” issues, with questions swirling about the sudden closures that left hundreds of workers unemployed.

Customers reacted to the announcements by expressing their skepticism at the “plumbing” explanation.

“Why is it just plumbing problems? It’s gonna take them six months to fix up the store?” John Mambrl told WTSP.

10 News also reported that no plumbing trucks were seen at the Walmart in Brandon, Florida, while city officials said they had no record of any code violation at the store.

Officials also visited the site and found no evidence of any repair work taking place.

When asked why the five different Walmart stores all closed at the same time for the same reason, a Walmart spokesperson merely reiterated the plumbing explanation, leading shopper Norma Espinosa to ask, “How many things have they not said? That’s scary.”

As the video below shows, police resources are also having to be used to guard the closed Walmart in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Video I took at the admiral memorial FEMA Region 6. Walmart in Tulsa OK. April 14th 2015. DHS cop cars, no semis, no plumbers. Supposed closing for plumbing issues. Crazy stuff!

HOWEVER, we think that they may be, in fact, Tulsa PD vehicles… it DOES say POLICE on the side of the car… but, so do DHS cars (better to hide in plain sight).    :P

"DHS" Cop cars in front of WalMart.

This is a Tulsa Police Car.

This is a DHS Federal Protective Service car. . . the slant-stripe is evident on all DHS vehicles, but they seem to prefers Explorers over sedans.

The city of Tulsa also denied that any plumbing permit applications from Walmart had been received.

ABC Action News reported that, “None of the five affected stores have sought any plumbing permits for future repairs.”

“I think it’s a lie, I think it’s something else,” another shopper said in reaction to the closure of the Pico Rivera Walmart.

A Walmart official at another closed store in Midland, Texas denied that the closure was a method of trimming highly paid employees, who earn $14-an-hour.

Footage shot at the Walmart in Livingston, Texas shows shelves being emptied before the closure of the store.

Obvious Question: Is this a red herring video or did this happen at ALL of the other stores?

Six months to "fix a plumbing problem"?

We be calling horse-pucky… we can build a three-bedroom house in six months, or take that long to remodel madame's bathroom . . .

"It was terribly dangerous to let your thoughts wander when you were in any public place or within range of a telescreen. The smallest thing could give you away. A nervous tic, an unconscious look of anxiety, a habit of muttering to yourself—anything that carried with it the suggestion of abnormality, of having something to hide. In any case, to wear an improper expression on your face… was itself a punishable offense. There was even a word for it in Newspeak: facecrime…"

Maginnis: 'Jade Helm' no precursor of martial law

A national defense analyst is dismissing the fears of "conspiracy theorists" that a large-scale military exercise planned for this summer is part of a government plot to impose martial law.

"Operation Jade Helm 15" is a major exercise involving elite service members from all four branches of the military.

Army Special Operations Command has announced it will begin on July 15 and run through September 15, and that the participants will operate covertly among the U.S. public and travel from state to state in military aircraft. Texas, Utah and a section of southern California are labeled as "hostile" territory, and New Mexico isn't much friendlier (see map).

The Washington Post reports that the eight-week exercise has prompted widespread conspiracy theories that the United States is preparing to hatch martial law.

Lt. Col. Robert Maginnis (USA-Ret.), a senior fellow for national security at the Family Research Council, explains that the military routinely conducts exercises in the western part of the U.S.

Quote
"The fact that we're conducting exercises working on battle skills is something that the American people should want us to do," he opines. "That's something that they routinely do – but they want people to be aware that they're out and about doing things."

And like The Post article, Maginnis doesn't put any stock into conspiracy theories.

"The military is prohibited – certainly by U.S. law; the posse comitatus, which dates back to the 1800s – of conducting real operations inside the United States," he explains. "They certainly don't conduct combat operations against any element inside [the country] unless there is martial law declared."

And Maginnis says there's no evidence of that being planned in the near future.

A closer look at what he speaks of from our friend Russ Vaughn:

The Myth of the Posse Comitatus Act : This ain't Hell, but you can see it from here
by Poetrooper, July 14, 2014

I recently put forth a rudimentary plan for utilization of existing military resources in stanching the flow of illegal trespassers across our southern border with Mexico.

Many were the commenters who were quick to tell me that such a thing is impossible because it is proscribed by the Posse Comitatus Act.
This is one of those issues that naysayers like to throw up as roadblocks to any attempts to settle the problem of rampant illegal immigration.

“We can’t use the military to patrol our borders because of the Posse Comitatus Act,” they protest breathlessly with a reverence for that act that hints of constitutional origins, and therefore, sacrosanct.

Well hold on, all you legal buckaroos, while we take a closer look at this statutory critter that so many profess to know and understand and are even quicker to invoke.

Here it is in all its sanctity:
Sec. 1385. Use of Army and Air Force as posse comitatus
Whoever, except in cases and under circumstances expressly authorized by the Constitution or Act of Congress, willfully uses any part of the Army or the Air Force as a posse comitatus or otherwise to execute the laws shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both.

Now that’s not really all that complicated, is it? What’s not to understand? The simple legislative act says that the federal government cannot use our military forces to execute or enforce laws. The law was originally enacted by a Republican Congress as a quid pro quo to Southern Democratic congressmen whose backing was needed to decide the presidential election of Rutherford B. Hayes.

Southerners were sick of the Union Army’s occupying forces’ interference in matters of local law and their representatives in Congress saw an opportunity for some horse trading. Republican supporters of Hayes agreed to the removal of federal troops from the occupied Southern states and sealed the deal with this brief bit of legislation that prohibited the use of federal troops for the purpose of enforcing civil and criminal statutes.

So the hallowed Posse Comitatus Act was really nothing more than a clever legislative gambit by southern congressmen to get the heavy boot of northern forces off the necks of their southern constituents, a rather ignominious birth for a minor piece of legislation that is now foolishly considered Holy Writ by too many of the uninformed.

But let’s get down to specifics; Congress, as always, covered its butt with the insertion of the weasel words:

“…except in cases and under circumstances expressly authorized by the Constitution or Act of Congress,”

Thus, in an act of Congress requiring no more than fifty-two words, that august body let itself off future hooks with that excepting phrase. And do not delude yourself into believing that was by accident. Quite obviously, the lawmaking body of this country wanted to reserve unto itself the power to use federal forces in domestic crises.

It would appear then that the Posse Comitatus Act says whatever the Congress says it does. And if that Congress determines that the massive incursions on our border from Mexico constitute an exceptional threat, there is nothing in the law to prevent this nation from defending that border with the military forces necessary to do so.

If you can find a good radio scanner that picks up the military radio frequencies (225.00-400.00 & 138-144 mhz ranges in am & fm) you could pick up a lot of military radio traffic, some might be encrypted but I'm sure there will be some in the clear and also look into a good portable shortwave radio that covers the full spectrum in upper sideband and lower sideband . my first question is what the heck is jade helm

so I looked it up

http://www.soc.mil/UNS/Releases/2015/March/150324-03.html

RELEASE NUMBER: 150324-03
 DATE POSTED: MARCH 24, 2015

PRESS RELEASE: Exercise readies SOF for threats abroad

FORT BRAGG, N.C. (USASOC News Service, March 24, 2015) - Members of U.S. Army Special Operations Command will train with other U.S Armed Forces units July 15 through Sept. 15 in a multi-state exercise called Jade Helm 15.

USASOC periodically conducts training exercises such as these to practice core special warfare tasks, which help protect the nation against foreign enemies. It is imperative that Special Operations Soldiers receive the best training, equipment and resources possible.

While multi-state training exercises such as these are not unique to the military, the size and scope of Jade Helm sets this one apart. To stay ahead of the environmental challenges faced overseas, Jade Helm will take place across seven states. However, Army Special Operations Forces (ARSOF) will only train in five states: Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah and Colorado. The diverse terrain in these states replicates areas Special Operations Soldiers regularly find themselves operating in overseas.

The training exercise will be conducted on private and public land with the permission of the private landowners, and from state and local authorities.  In essence, all exercise activity will be taking place on pre-coordinated public and private lands.

The public can expect nothing much different from their day-to-day activities since much of exercise will be conducted in remote areas.  The most noticeable effect the exercise may have on the local communities is an increase in vehicle and military air traffic and its associated noise. There will also be economic gain: an increase in the local economy, in fuel and food purchases and hotel lodging.

This exercise is routine training to maintain a high level of readiness for ARSOF since they must be ready to support potential missions anywhere in the world at a moment’s notice.

During this eight-week period, ARSOF soldiers will use this opportunity to further develop tactics, techniques and procedures for emerging concepts in Special Operations warfare.

USASOC intends to conduct the exercise safely and courteously while providing the best possible training available for the nation's Army Special Operations Forces. State and local officials are being informed of the scope of Jade Helm and will continue to be updated as the exercise progresses.

Why Operation Jade Helm 15 is freaking out the Internet — and why it shouldn’t be

By Dan Lamothe March 31

The mission is vast both geographically and strategically: Elite service members from all four branches of the U.S. military will launch an operation this summer in which they will operate covertly among the U.S. public and travel from state to state in military aircraft. Texas, Utah and a section of southern California are labeled as hostile territory, and New Mexico isn’t much friendlier.

That’s the scheme for Jade Helm 15, a new Special Operations exercise that runs from July 15 to Sept. 15. Army Special Operations Command announced it last week, see above article
saying the size and scope of the mission sets it apart from many other training exercises.

“The nature of warfare is always changing and U.S. Army Special Operations Command’s mission is to make certain the Army’s various Special Operations Forces are trained, equipped and organized to successfully conduct worldwide special operations in support of our nation’s interests,” Army Lt. Col. Mark Lastoria, a command spokesman, said in an e-mail. “Training exercise Jade Helm is going to assist our Special Operations Soldiers and leadership in refining the skills needed against an ever changing foreign threat.”

The exercise has prompted widespread conspiracy theories that the United States is preparing to hatch martial law. Some examples:

3 tweets (which don't want to copy..sorry and a you tube

In particular, some have expressed alarm about this map, which outlines events for the exercise in unclassified documents posted online last week. The Washington Post verified them to be legitimate by speaking to Army sources. They appear to have been prepared for local authorities.

This map shows the military’s plan during the exercise Jade Helm 15, which begins in July. (U.S. Army Special Operations Command map)

Several media outlets have noted that the Army has pushed back on the outcry, including

and the Houston Chronicle.

But it’s also worth noting that the military has routinely launched exercises in the past in which regions of the United States are identified as hostile for the purpose of training.

Consider Bold Alligator, a naval exercise in which thousands of Marines and sailors have been involved in the past. The most recent version was launched last fall, and included amphibious landings to prevent insurgent groups in the fictional country known as Garnet — Georgia and part of Florida in real life — from launching attacks.

The map looked like this in Navy documents:

In another example, U.S. Special Forces support fictional guerrilla forces in numerous counties across North Carolina in the exercise Robin Sage. Green Beret soldiers

work to liberate the country of Pineland, and operate in close proximity to civilians, who are warned that they may hear blank gunfire.

Marine Special Operations troop also have an exercise that is in some ways similar and called Derna Bridge.
http://newstimes.augusta.com/latest-news/2013-01-23/marine-training-could-unnerve-area-residents
It spans several counties in western South Carolina, and includes some activities in Sumter National Forest.
